Gawain - Avilion
Following the war, Avilion was occupied by Kameloth's forces as they were the victors of the war. Sections of western Avilion were annexed to Kameloth, while the occupation forces took most if not all political control of Avilion. Leodogran, Avilion's Emperor prior to Artura, has gone missing entirely, and is presumed to be dead at this point. Kameloth has installed Princess Guinivere as Avilion's ruler for the time being with the stipulation she marry Kameloth nobility to solidify Kameloth's claims on Avilion. Many of Avilion do not want Kameloth to have such a large influence on their country, and small rebellions have begin to erupt within the countryside and within the larger cities. As a result, Kameloth has been experiencing backlash with supplies destroyed, soldiers wounded or killed, and the loss of territory. To combat this, Kameloth's nobility has tasked Guinivere to rally a force to quash these rebellions as quickly as possible. Guinivere is unable to refuse their demands, and thus calls upon Gawain, to both gather and lead this group. Gawain was previously imprisoned by Artura for refusing her orders and was pardoned by Guinivere following the war's conclusion and freed from prison. Prior to this, he was a military commander who rivaled Lansalot, but ultimately wanted nothing to do with Artura's circle of power. However, Gawain has no interest in being part of this force.
