- Muyang huffed a bit after he releases his hold on the tree to get a better angle at his work, almost everywhere in his perimeter were logs. Hanging from the sturdy branches he gave it a good whack with his weapon, soon the logs swung violently as they collided with one another causing chain reaction to occur as they bounced off one another to the point where two logs were coming towards Muyang simultaneously. (1)
- While he could sense it coming, he couldn't stop the attack from colliding with the back of his head while stopping one of the logs. In a daze, Muyang held his head and crumbled a bit trying to regain some of his composure. The logs did hurt, so this was perfect training for him getting used to his weights, fighting multiple enemies and then some, or at least that's what he thought. (2)
- Muyang furrowed his brow a bit as he placed his hand on the ground as he slowly picked himself up after his last bout. He was making some more improvements as he felt his reaction time slowly acclimating to his weights as he was able to dodge some of the logs, but he was still getting hit or not reacting enough in order to block an incoming blow. "Dammit." he cursed as he held his back this time as he reached over to pick up his weapon. (3)
- He wasn't making as much progress like he had originally envisioned bothered him greatly, the picture of the ‘proper’ Soulborn he had in mind was already being overshadowed by others who had already taken his place and while he was truly happy for them, he was the weakest link, or at least he felt like he was compared to the others. He knew he felt inferior to people of the Lu clan or hell, even people like Banri who were a lot faster than him, and rightfully so as he held them on a higher plane of importance. It was truly unbecoming as a Soulborn, hell what would his parents say to him if they saw how deep in a rut the was over stuff like this? Would they berate him? Tell him that he's over thinking things? He honestly didn't know and that's what was bothering him the most. "This is pathetic." Muyang said as he started to direct his anger towards the logs surrounding him as he quacked one as hard as he could sending it flying into another starting the chain reaction again. (4)
- Muyang steeled his mind as shifted his footing watching the logs coming towards him, firs the struck the log rather had before getting himself pushed back. "Shit."He didn’t notice it but there was a second log behind the first adding more force towards the impact, he also had some coming from the side and luckily nothing was coming from the back. First, he dashed forward thinking he could tank the incoming blow by using his sheath to block most of the built-up impact causing him to stagger backwards. He didn’t have much time to retaliate so he ducked under narrowly avoiding another strike. (5)
- But that was the whole reason for this training he was putting himself through, he needed to be quicker than that, stronger, percise with his strikes, and he needed to be able to react to them. He got the reactionary part down, he just needded to be more speedy. Sheathing his weapon back he released a small sigh eas he struck the log again to begin the small chain reaction. (6)
- His movements were more accurate this time around as he was using a lot more of his senses this time around, a weave here, a dodge there and strike when he was able to. That's how he had to do it and that's what he needed to do to create an opening for himself to counter. Gritting his teeth, he shifted his stance again as the forth and fifth log collidied and was coming after him, he dodged, taking a graze before he shifted his positon and stuck at him again with lightning effiancy. "There!" (7)
- His was growing more tired, reckless even, but that didn't matter to him, if he had pushed himself this far to shorten the gap, so could the others with just minimal effort. He had to do it, in fact he wanted to, but he also needed to rest. The soulbor relaxed himself, sheathing his weapon. He recalled the small training session with the others, Joji, Kowa, Caeru, the masked person, etc. There was something they all had in common, they were a lot faster on the draw than he was, and that was his goal. He smirked, drawing his blade from it sheath as he attempted to strike again, he was a bit faster, but still no where near where he had to be. A small curse escaped his mouth, but he wasn't about to allow himself to faulter, at least not here. And hell due to this training he recalled a time when he fought both Joji and Caeru.(8)
- As Muyang continued to train his body and mind he seemed to have minor flash backs of sparring with the others, he remembered it vividly as he moved himself over to take a grab at the wooden broadsword tossing it up a bit spinning it as he stood still before he tightened his fist around it while moving himself towards Joji. He tightened his grip for a moment as he soon steeled himself as he placed himself into a basic stance as he kept a gaze on Caeru before he smirked. "Then I'll make sure we'll aid you both!" (9)
- He assumed they were going to start attacking Joji first, then himself, then Caeru then so on and so forth. It seemed simple enough, at least before execution. That being said he soon hurled himself towards Ivan wrenching his hand back to slash at Joji’s side, it was a bunt hit and it wasn't going to do too much damage, or rather none of at all, he didn't want to harm either of the two if he could avoid it. Muyang seemed to chuckle for a moment recalling such memories as he continued to train his body vividly before eventually collapsing due to exhaustion once again. Then the image faded, and he was once again, alone.
- "I’m so tired.."(10)
- took a breath as he started to focus his mind a bit, the sounds around him was starting to slowly get drowned out little by little at a time as he was slowly starting to be alone with himself all over again. The Soulborn's hands grasped the sandbag as he narrowed his gaze ever so slightly as a wave of thoughts started to rapidly flood his mind, he was active enough that such exercise wouldn't exactly be as taxing as he originally thought. (11)
- Shaking his head free, of such things he slowly applied the hand wrapping around his fingers. This practice was normally here so that if he threw a punch his knuckles, which were essential to boxing wouldn't get dislocated or injured in any other kind of way. Once that was done, he applied the iron wrist weights around his arm and tightened them, since his body was naturally used to swinging around an iron broadsword he figured he needed to simulate such a feat with weights alone, for an added challenge he also had weights around his ankles as well in case he started to get overzealous with his movements. (12)
- Muyang exhaled a bit as he readily prepared himself mentally as he shifted his stance. He had to make sure he was solid from his hips down to his feet, no bouncing required, his hips also needed to be parallel to the ground since if he tipped himself he'd already be entering an improper stance for boxing. (13)
- The Xun's feet shifted with his front toe being in line with the rear heel of his other foot, slowly he raised his real to keep himself balanced. While micromanaging himself he'd also properly keep his feet a shoulder-width apart, too wide and he'd be locked into a position, if he had them too close together he'd be knocked off balance and knocked over, at least the thought so. (14
- The front leg remained stiff, his back leg bent, from what he recall most of his power was coming from the position of his feet. Muyang's reasoning for focusing on his positioning was simple, it was for directing power, his knees would easily bend to stabilize himself and act as a human spring to generate power whenever he threw one, if he hips and legs weren't stable then his blows wouldn't have the much power. Because he recognized this, Alva started to bounce and remain in a stationary spot, doing this would always keep his knees bent so he'd be able to properly direct power from his lower body towards the sandbag. (15)
- Sweat started to roll down the male's body as he visualizes the straight punch in his mind. His dominate hand was tucked against his chin while his free hand remained since he really couldn't do this with a blade he made use of this technique given he had the gloves on. Muyang kept his non-dominant hand in front, it was at the same level of his dominant one, possibly about four to ten inches in front of his face, this was both his defense and offense. (16)
- He was ready to throw this jab, Muyang kept his breathing steadied as he knitted his brow, he raised the back of his heel while keeping the ball off his foot stable, his goal was to generate torque from the lower body to his upper, that was the power to really pull off a straight punch. He wanted to practice this motion a few more times to get it right, sometimes he did find his leg dipping a bit, but that was okay as he pivoted himself inwards. (17)
- Muyang stucked in a breath as he twisted his hips and chest towards the target, the log, to properly execute his back foot and knee would need to finish twisting before he could begin rotating his hips and chest since he was already in the proper fighting position. Once he extended his fist he turned his arm inwards before striking the log. (18)
- He immediately started to feel the effects of the weights on his arms and legs. He was a bit strained, but he didn't want to simply stop he took a breath as he drew his hand back a bit before tossing out another straight to keep the bag back. He had to quickly adjust his stance slightly to continue the one-two slashes he wanted to deliver after all. (19)
- He had tightened his elbows at his sides, if he was going to be successful he'd need to keep his body compact for this. For the most part, his stance was still the same as when he threw his previous, he didn't need to rotate his hips as much with this one, the straight would leave him too open, and it was a follow up after all. Muyang exhaled a bit as he shifted himself a bit, keeping his dominant hand sealed for now. (20)
