  1. I dont think we have much for guides but your best bet is to watch the WRs for each chapter and start practicing each chapter at least until you can consistently beat each one first try. WRs can be found here: http://www.fzerocentral.org/viewtopic.php?t=13710

  3. also i'll give some notes on specifics for each course. for chapter 1, you basically boost constantly and follow the same capsule route that the WR video uses. for chapter 2, you don't have to go for shiftboosts, and what you can do instead is just save all your boosts till about the last turn then just boost constantly which should allow you to win if you didnt hit any rocks (obviously SBing is faster but if you're just starting out, learning to finish a run consistently going for shiftboosts is going to be extremely tough). for chapter 3, it doesnt look like theres a replay for the very easy WR on there but the very hard WR uses the same strat.

  5. for ch 4, the easier strat that I use is to just boost up to each set of enemies, spin attack, and bash at them and they usually die in 1 hit. for ch 5, you just basically have to memorize the gate closing patterns, capsule locations, drive as straight as possible, boost constantly, and hit as many capsules as possible. for ch 6, this course sux but I don't boost till the dirt patches where i use 3 at the first part, 1 more at the next, and then I boost out of energy on the last straightaway stretch. there's probably faster places to use boosts like to use before/after some of the early boost panels, but this strat is fairly safe.

  7. ch 7 is the hardest to beat consistently when starting out probably; the biggest thing is doing an MTS on the ice and doing a MTS-> side attack dive off the big jump. there are shiftboosts you can get on the narrow wall-less part, but those are hard. also, you can drive straight through the fire on lap 1 since the energy doesnt matter and you get a refill at the end anyway. if you enter the refiller low on energy at the end of lap 2 (which you should), don't start boosting until you're about halfway through the refiller. if you're having trouble beating black shadow, you could possibly look for an opportunity to kill him with a quick side attack, but that's generally pretty inconsistent.

  9. for ch 8, you want to get as many mine boosts as possible on lap 1 then just boost constantly through on laps 2 and 3. same thing about the fire. for ch 9, again shiftboosts everywhere are hard but the biggest thing is, after the long spiraling part, when it straightens out again and leads up a hill, you can start boosting to get good speed and do an MTS->side attack dive off the hill which will be pretty fast.
