- Skip mart

- get antidote
- Weedle Guy:
     > VG x3 (+VG, Bubble if crit)
- Fight encounter grass after exit if necessary

PEWTER CITY
- Go the mart
- Buy:
     > 7 Potions
     >(s4) 5 Antidotes
     > 2 Balls

PEWTER GYM
- Brock: Bubble x2-3, Bubble x2
     > Heal if 1-6 on Geodude and survives next hit
     > Onix Tackle: 4 damage

ROUTE 3
- Finish with Bubble if possible

     > Heal if 1-5 on Rat
- FIGHT LASS

- Walk back to Pewter city (3rd white tile), walk back
- Bug Catcher 3: VG x2 (Bubble if crit), VG x2 + Bubble
- Walk through grass, catch bird (slot 4 ball)

- Use Repel (s1) immediately
- Get escape rope and rare candy
- Use repel after it wears off
- Fight Hiker
- Hiker: Bubble x3
- Use repel again
- Talk to rocket
- Rocket: VG x2 (Bubble if crit), VG x2
     > Heal if 1-6 on Rat
- Super Nerd: VG x2 (+Bubble), VG x2, VG x2 (+Bubble)
     > Voltorb: If only 3 VGs left, Leer+VG(+Bubble)
- Choose the Helix Fossil

- Enter the grass, catch Sandshrew (slot 3 ball)
- Take the center
- Enter the gym

- Enter 4th room on left
- Walk down+right

- Get Body Slam TM
- Go upstairs, enter 4th door on right
- Gentleman: BB x2
     > Teach Guillotine over Leer (slot 2)
- Get rare candy
- Menu:
     > Swap slot 2 with TM08 (d7)
     > (d1)Use rare candy
     > (s2)Teach Body Slam over VG (slot 1)

- Get HM01
- Leave

VERMILION CITY
- On the tile before the Cut bush

     > Teach HM01 to Shrew

- Cut the bush
- Don't manip, just choose the cans

- Go to the house above the gym, get Bike Voucher

- After leaving the shop:

- Get HM03 from the guy in the house
- Walk outside
- Dig
- Fly to Fuschia
- Bike to gym

- go left one space then further south

- Hit the statue in the Northeast room
- Get BOTH rare candies
- Get the Secret Key (third visible item)
- Dig out
