It was an interesting Tuesday on Bygone Island, Sonic the Hedgehog, local hero and sports tape enthusiast, was helping his best buddy Miles Tails Prower in his workshop by moving some potted plants onto a wooden bench.

"And why am I doing this again Tails?" Sonic asked, placing the last plant on the bench and moving out of the way.

"Just sit back and watch Sonic, as my newest invention, The Growth Accelerator, shows you what it can do." Tails said, pointing a ray gun at the plants, turning a knob and zapping them with a white beam. Before Sonic's eyes the plants began growing and blooming. Tails proudly blew on the tip of the ray and looked at Sonic's amazed expression.

"Awesome work Tails! Hayward is gonna flip when he finds out about this. Come on, let's go find Knuckles so we can have him sniff out some good planting spots for our Chili pepper garden." Sonic said, with visions of homemade Chili dancing in his head. He grabbed Tails by the arm and yanked him out the door, not noticing that the ray fired two more beams through the window, towards the home of Amy Rose, who at the time was talking with Perci about how high strung Perci could be about protecting the village.

"I don't see why I have to go through this; my concerns are completely rational ones." Perci said with her arms crossed. Amy sighed and wrote something down.

"Perci, yesterday you tried to have Knuckles run for mayor, AGAIN. It seems like your plan to save the village by getting rid of Mayor Fink is the only plan you have right now, and people are honestly getting a bit tired of it." While they were continuing on with what they are talking about, the light from the beam was zooming right at them. ZAP! ZAP!

"AH!" They both shouted as the beams hit, knocking them out of their chairs and onto the floor.

"What was that?!" Perci shouted getting to her feat quickly and looking out the window for any assailants.

"I can't see anyone who would've fired at us." She turned to see Amy getting up slowly.

"Whatever it was, it's over now Perci. Let's calm down and sit back down." Amy began sitting back in her seat when Perci shrieked.

"OH NO IT'S MATT!!" shrieked Perci.
