How odd of a time...

Something tells me this is not over
Perhaps there's a lesson to be learned
Or an adventure to be found
And yet, here we are...

It seems my men are exhausted
Tired and weary from all the fighting
Fighting that in an honest sense
Could be pretty pointless

Hopefully, I can soften up one day
This is war, and that's why I was cruel
But peacetime is something I strive for
Maybe I can finally change my habits...
