[22:05] Vel floated from the stairs which was used to enter Dawn and approached a close comrade of his, Hatsu.

A grin sat on the Kitsune's face as he reached for a weapon that he wasn't normally seen with. This weapon was none other than the Arkham. The Invidia knew about the Wvelven's capability and his wonderous arts in Cosmic magic.

He knew exactly what monster would be born if such a staff of this caliber ended up in Hatsu's hands.

However, this was Vel.. It wasn't going to be just handed off as a simple gift..

"I come to you with an offer, Hatsu.

One that you will surely be interested in.."

The staff was removed from his back and held in the both of his hands, extended towards Hatsu.

"Interested in listening?"

[22:07] A glance is given towards Vel as he remained stationed beneath the tower, his arms fold as he maintains vigilance. An eyebrow raises as he takes note of Vel's approach, only for his lips to gently purse together as he takes note of the staff being offered towards him. His eyes fall upon it with mild curiosity, and the typical disinterest in his gaze naturally recedes as he stands up straight. He made his way toward Vel as his left hand slips into his pocket, only to scrutinize the weapon for some time. He doesn't take it quite yet, however, as his eyes drift up to meet the Kitsune's own.

"I'm listening, indeed. Nothing comes free in this world, so I'm sure what you'll ask of me will be interesting of note."

[22:08] Asbel Invidia says, "Yes."

[22:08] Asbel Invidia says, "I've been doing OTHER stuff for like, a month."
[22:11] Coraline Invidia II says, "Oh.."
[22:11] Cion Invidia says, "We havent fought! He was a butt last time we spoke though."
[22:11] "Oh.. Things are always interesting with me involved, don't you think...?"

An interesting battle.. that is what Vel was searching for. One that would prove itself as challenging and entertaining..

A battle that would force him to go all out..

Would giving Hatsu the Arkham truly be enough for the Pyromancer to unleash hell?

"Chaaaha.. It is quite simple.. You wield this staff and battle me with it..

I see how capable you are with wielding it..

-And you can -have- it..

Simple, yes?"

The Invidia pushed the staff forward, attempting to get the Wvelven to grab ahold of it, assuming that he would definitely accept the offer.

[22:12] Lauriam asks, "Hey Asbel, it's been awhile. You've been training hard my friend?"
[22:12] Asbel Invidia exclaims, "No!"
[22:12] Asbel Invidia says, "I had to take a break."
[22:12] Lauriam asks, "Whaaaat?"
[22:12] Lauriam gave the boy a confused expression.

[22:13] "This camp is riddled with the useless- the same that do not contribute anything to our growth."

The mighty Kaor shifts his body in Vel's presence, his facial expression as stoic as ever. It was true. If they wanted anyone to take them seriously.. surely they knew better than to simply just accept anyone willing to "fight" for the cause.

"Perhaps I will eliminate them myself... Gahaha!"

Ipos cackles, fire crackling off his frame, burning the ground at the touch- it didn't seem like he was kidding. Dragging his blade behind him, the demon merely followed the purple-haired Kitsune for now.. interested in the outcome of this battle.

[22:13] Asbel Invidia says, "But you see, I fell off of a cliff... and couldn't figure out how to get back up..."

[22:14] Lauriam says, "Oh, man.. that's terrible."
[22:14] Lauriam asks, "You're feeling better now?"
[22:14] Asbel Invidia says, "Then I ended up on this little island, because I was trying to swim..."
[22:14] Asbel Invidia exclaims, "I am NOT good at directions!"
[22:15] Asbel Invidia says, "But I am okay now."
[22:15] Cion Invidia exclaims, "Maybe thats what Uncle Valentine should teach you!"

[22:16] Asbel Invidia exclaims, "Navigation skills aren't useful for my goals!"

[22:21] Hatsu would remain somewhat skeptical in regards to Vel's purpose, though there was a moment of contemplation there. All he had to do was battle the Invidia and he'd acquire the staff for his own purposes? It sounds too good to be true, but Hatsu wasn't one to not take risks when the time came for it. It was a calculated risk, but one in which he'd take part of in order to add a new weapon to his arsenal.

Even from a glance, he could tell it was superior to the one that remained strapped to his hip, and his hands curl around the staff itself as his eyes lid. "Well...Sure, let us have a go at it, then." He states quietly, mildly skeptical but still one to trust Vel's words.

[22:22] Un-wol gently floats over toward the camp, ceasing once a few feet away. His crimson gaze sweeps the people, a sight he had not seen in forever. The children earn his gaze for a moment longer than the rest, but he switches to Vel and Donovan instead, head tilted ever so faintly.

[22:22] Vel Invidia asks, "Hm..?"
[22:22] Asbel Invidia asks, "Man, girls are weird, huh Cion?"

[22:29] The moment Vel seen Hatsu wield the Arkham, a smile grew across his face once more.. He could only remember back in his teenager days when he first grasped that exact staff..

...He remembers just the large amount of power that coursed through his body the moment he did so.

This was bound to be exciting.

"Chaaaha! I hope you do not disappoint me, Hatsu! I am looking forward to the results of this battle!

Do not hold back because I will not!

Chaaaah!"

Vel moved his hand to grasp on to his beloved staff, the Wyrm before aiming its maw directly towards the Wvelven. Suddenly, a shroud of color-transitioning flames made its appearance around the kitsune, shifting from its usual orange glow to a lavender color.

"Ohh… This should be interesting.."

His flames danced as if they were alsoexcited to see the results that were soon to be produced.. Would Hatsu be as formidable as the Invidia expects him to be?

Only one way to find out.

[22:29] Wargeel says, "cavity check..."
[22:32] Hatsu grasps the staff with a solid hold, though the runic pulsing that ran itself along the weapon responds to his touch. He could feel the distort of energies as he raises the staff, taking note of the chaotic energies that stem from the weapon itself. Whispers enter his ears as his eyes widen, sapping at his willpower with a gentle flow. One would find these accumulation of whispering voices to be baffling, and he would like to assume he was merely imagining it, for the time being.

Despite the mild distraction that now took root, his body is shroud in a coloration of cosmic energies, which circulate about him in a passively sparkling form. The staff is directed toward Vel as the battle prepares to commence, only for his legs to slowly part as he cracks a small smile.

This was going to suck.

[22:47] Hatsu managed to do what Vel assumed he would do... His power while wielding that staff almost exceeded the Invidia's expectations! Fortunately for Vel, his flames were far superior.

The Kitsunes flames grew more intense as the battle continued.. It fed off of the anticipation of the fight and the exciting adrenaline within the Invidia.

After all.. There was no holding back! Any individual would feel the same excitement if they had the opportunity to go all out.

"Chaaaahaaa! This is it! This is what I was looking for!!"

Hatsu's cosmic power crashed against the Invidia and dealt a good amount of damage.. His ability to cover the entirety of the battlefield with such power made the battle difficult..

Yet.. as said before.. the flames were superior.

Lingering embers replaced the previously cosmic-infested lands.. these embers belonging to no one else but the Pyromancer.

"You have to better than that! Chaaaha!"

Waves of lavender flames proceeded after his statement and surprisingly. They slowly grew in size as it travelled, not from the heat it swallowed in its path but moreso from the thrill of the battle.

These waves concluded their duel.

Nevertheless, a smile remained on the Kitsune's face.. He was very well satisfied with what Hatsu was capable of with the weapon.. Satisfied enough to allow him to use it for the time being.

"I believe you are.. powerful enough to wield it..

Might cost you a bit of coin on the side but- That won't stop you, will it? "

[22:53] The power of the staff had certainly been enticing, though he found it wholly uncomfortable to use at first. Haunting images of crimson moons surfaced throughout his mind in the midst of combat, maddening whispers desiring freedom accompanying such. Even as he touched the staff, he could discern that his staff had been composed of portions of the actual moon. The whispers and chanting only grew louder as he summoned forth a massive sphere of cosmic energy, one that was colorized blue. The sphere extends outward as it crashed into Vel, unleashing a cataclysmic beam of energy that slams into Vel's chest!

Despite his momentum, it was quickly lost as Vel adjusts in a hasty manner, though by no means was the fight one that was not close! The duo fought with all their might, though Vel's combat experience admittedly weighed Hatsu's own. In the end, the Wvelven had been defeated as waves of fire send him airborne, only to tumble along the grass.

He forces himself to a stand, panting lightly, though his left hand rises to lightly grip the side of his head. "This...isn't a normal weapon. An interesting weapon, to be sure..but one that is definitely not for just anyone. If you desire coin for it, you may have yourself a deal." He states quietly, opting to strap the weapon itself upon his back.

His head swam uncomfortably, but he'd have to bury his discomfort.
