  1. [17:43] <[GM]Cerise> After eating their fill, the maids on errand finally return to the dock and begin loading up the supplies onto the airship. Let us begin!
  2. [17:51] * [Atai]NineOClock_to_Marrakesh assists the dockworkers with great efficiency and speed.
  3. [17:53] * [huh]Milia helps too!
  4. [17:55] * [Atai]NineOClock_to_Marrakesh carries large crates of ham and beef as if she were hauling pillows.
  5. [17:56] * [huh]Milia can't keep up with Mary's clockwork diligence...
  6. [17:58] * [Atai]NineOClock_to_Marrakesh brings the food supplies to the kitchen dumbwaiter access to be stored in the large walk-in freezer. When they're finally loaded, she takes the multiple bags and sacks of fresh groceries and food up there in person, intended for more immediate --by comparison-- consumption with her on a cart, letting Milia push a second, lighter cart.
  7. [18:02] <[Atai]NineOClock_to_Marrakesh> Do not tarry, Miss Gantzholm.
  8. [18:04] <[huh]Milia> I won't~
  9. [18:07] * [huh]Milia manages to keep herself in check, despite all the shiny and moving things about.
  10. [18:11] * [Atai]NineOClock_to_Marrakesh arrives in the kitchen, and pauses. ...Where does all this go, exactly?
  11. [18:13] <[Atai]NineOClock_to_Marrakesh> QUERY: Miss Gantzholm, you are more familiar with the kitchen than I am. Where are these various things stored?
  12. [18:14] * [Pyg]Mikhail enters the kitchen a few moments later, rather sluggishly.
  13. [18:14] <[huh]Milia> Ah...
  14. [18:14] <[Pyg]Mikhail> Oh...you guys...are finally home...
  15. [18:14] <[huh]Milia> Over there, and there, and there...
  16. [18:15] * [huh]Milia points to different cabinets.
  17. [18:15] * [Pyg]Mikhail leans on the doorframe for support.
  18. [18:15] <[Atai]NineOClock_to_Marrakesh> GRATITUDE: I see. Thank you.
  19. [18:15] * [Atai]NineOClock_to_Marrakesh gets to work.
  20. [18:16] * [Atai]NineOClock_to_Marrakesh adds, in the middle of it...
  21. [18:16] <[Atai]NineOClock_to_Marrakesh> SALUTATION: Good afternoon, Master Mikoyan.
  22. [18:16] * [huh]Milia finally notices Mikhail.
  23. [18:17] <[Atai]NineOClock_to_Marrakesh> Food has been procured and is being stored away. Please wait warmly until we are finished.
  24. [18:17] <[huh]Milia> Mikey!
  25. [18:19] <[Pyg]Mikhail> Of...course... Ugh...
  26. [18:28] * [huh]Milia is chewing on a carrot...
  27. [18:32] <[huh]Milia> Is that everything, Mary?
  28. [18:35] * [Atai]NineOClock_to_Marrakesh stores the last of the bread away in the pantry, and nods.
  29. [18:35] <[Atai]NineOClock_to_Marrakesh> AFFIRMATIVE: I believe so.
  30. [18:38] <[huh]Milia> Hear that, Mike? We're clear to leave!
  31. [18:38] <[Pyg]Mikhail> Oh...that's great...
  32. [18:45] <[GM]Cerise> Fujiwara gets to work, much to the master's tearful delight and prepares a wonderful looking meal for the two who have yet to eat. Meanwhile, the airship prepares to depart. It's raining, but it's not bad enough to prevent a take off.
  33. [18:46] <[Atai]NineOClock_to_Marrakesh> QUERY: Will you be taking the helm, Master Mikoyan, or shall I?
  34. [18:46] <[huh]Milia> Oh! Oh! Can I steer?
  35. [18:47] * [huh]Milia waves enthusiastically.
  36. [18:47] * [Pyg]Mikhail thinks about this a moment.
  37. [18:48] <[Pyg]Mikhail> "You think another helmsman might make your job a little easier, Marrakesh?"
  38. [18:51] <[Atai]NineOClock_to_Marrakesh> REASSURANCE: I am perfectly capable of handling the ship's piloting functions alone. However, the presence of a navigator would be of some assistance.
  39. [18:51] <[huh]Milia> Hooray!
  40. [18:52] <[Pyg]Mikhail> "Then maybe little Milia ought to learn to the art of navigation."
  41. [18:52] <[Pyg]Mikhail> "Yeah, that sounds like a good place to start."
  42. [18:53] <[Atai]NineOClock_to_Marrakesh> AGREEMENT: Very well then, Master Mikoyan.
  43. [18:56] <[Pyg]Mikhail> "Well, I'll be around. Call me if you need me. Oh, and, Milia, make sure you pay attention to Marrakesh's instruction, all right?"
  44. [18:58] <[huh]Milia> Riiight.
  45. [19:00] * [Pyg]Mikhail pats Milia on the head before leaving the deck. The tray of food is waiting by the doorway. I guess I'd better take this to her now before she faints.

  49. [19:05] * Patricia lays in bed alone, apparently reading her book sideways, facing away from the door.
  50. [19:06] * [Pyg]Mikhail knocks on the door.
  51. [19:06] * Patricia doesn't answer.
  52. [19:08] * [Pyg]Mikhail tries the knob.
  53. [19:09] <[GM]Cerise> The door opens!
  54. [19:10] * [Pyg]Mikhail gets it to open and pushes the cart in...This really doesn't feel right.
  55. [19:12] * Patricia doesn't move.
  56. [19:13] <[Pyg]Mikhail> "Hey, Patchy, you awake?"
  57. [19:18] * Patricia , after a few moments of silence, releases a humble snore.
  58. [19:20] * [Pyg]Mikhail sighs.
  59. [19:22] * [Pyg]Mikhail walks over to her quietly, taking the open book from the sleeping maid.
  60. [19:26] * [Pyg]Mikhail takes one of the bookmarks on Patricia's desk and places it snug in the middle of the open book before shutting it and putting it down next to the sleeper.
  61. [19:27] * Patricia reflexively paws for a book, mumbling something under her breath.
  62. [19:29] <Patricia> no... I'm not a pudding... stop eating meeeee...
  63. [19:34] * [Pyg]Mikhail moves the book so it's within her grasp, keeping his soft laughing to himself.
  64. [19:37] * Patricia grabs it, and flips right back to the page it was left on. After about half a minute, she turns the page, despite her eyes still closed.
  65. [19:37] <[Pyg]Mikhail> "..."
  66. [19:37] * [Pyg]Mikhail shrugs it off and goes back to the cart to pull it out of the room. There's plenty of food now, they can eat together another time.
  67. [20:09] * [Pyg]Mikhail stops before exiting out the door completely. Wait, this silly girl hasn't had a bite to eat all day, what am I doing?
  68. [20:10] * Patricia can be seen gnawing on her book. The prior bookmark is nowhere to be seen.
  69. [20:11] * [Pyg]Mikhail grabs Patricia's shoulders, giving them a gentle shake.
  70. [20:11] <[Pyg]Mikhail> Heeey, Patch, wake up!
  71. [20:12] <Patricia> mmm...
  72. [20:12] * Patricia stirs.
  73. [20:15] <[Pyg]Mikhail> "I got fooooood."
  74. [20:16] * Patricia stirs more excitedly.
  75. [20:16] <Patricia> nnm... Mikhail...?
  76. [20:16] * Patricia feels about for her glasses.
  77. [20:24] <[Pyg]Mikhail> "Oh, you glasses?"
  78. [20:24] * Patricia nods drearily, wiping and straining her eyes.
  79. [20:26] * [Pyg]Mikhail tries to look around the area around her.
  80. [20:49] * Patricia eventually finds them on the nightstand.
  81. [20:50] <Patricia> Yes...
  82. [20:51] * Patricia puts them on, then pulls up her shirt to wipe the smudges off, revealing a little bit of belly.
  83. [20:51] <Patricia> agh... How do these get so dirty...
  84. [20:52] * [Pyg]Mikhail 's eyes immediately lock on to that area of exposed flesh, but tries to be discreet about it.
  85. [20:54] * Patricia notices, but tries to pretend she doesn't. It's pretty obvious, though, as she hesitates mid-wipe.
  86. [20:55] <Patricia> O-oh... You brought me some food? How sweet of you...
  87. [20:56] <[Pyg]Mikhail> "Can't let my girls starve now, can I? That would be just be mean."
  88. [20:58] <Patricia> Your girls? You been looking at someone else's belly lately? Hmph. Should've known.
  89. [20:59] * [Pyg]Mikhail frowns at her.
  90. [21:00] <[Pyg]Mikhail> "Where the hell did that come from? I'm only expressing concerns for my staff and you."
  91. [21:01] * Patricia smacks Mikhail's chest with her book.
  92. [21:02] <Patricia> I'm just teasing, you big dummy. I know better than my little Mikhail finding someone that treats him better than his librarian. Don't you think so, too?
  93. [21:04] * Patricia thinks about it herself, and leaves a pit in her stomach that makes it far more empty than her lack of nourishment. She shakes it off.
  94. [21:04] * [Pyg]Mikhail feels a little blush rise to his cheeks.
  95. [21:04] <[Pyg]Mikhail> "O-of course I do..."
  96. [21:05] <[Pyg]Mikhail> "...Anyway, time to eat. We'll be up in the air again soon."
  97. [21:07] * Patricia lights up a bit.
  98. [21:07] <Patricia> Oh? What'd you get me?
  99. [21:16] <[Pyg]Mikhail> "A cheese omelette!"
  100. [21:19] * Patricia is pleasantly surprised.
  101. [21:20] <Patricia> Oh, did you make it? No... I don't see any mushrooms.
  102. [21:23] <[Pyg]Mikhail> "Nah, I had Fujiwara do it. I don't know if I could concentrate properly with so much food in front of me and a very unhappy stomach.
  103. [21:26] <Patricia> Hm... Well, thanks for bringing it out to me anyway.
  104. [21:26] * Patricia takes the plate, fork, and eats quickly.
  105. [21:29] <[Pyg]Mikhail> "Feel better now?"
  106. [21:39] * Patricia nods.
  107. [21:40] <Patricia> Are there any ship-wide plans I should be made aware of? Not much gets to me, snuck up inside this room...
  108. [21:40] <Patricia> Except for you, of course.
  109. [21:43] * [Pyg]Mikhail thinks for a moment.
  110. [21:49] <[Pyg]Mikhail> "No...major plans really. Just keep moving, you know, like usual."
  111. [21:49] * Patricia nods again.
  112. [21:50] <Patricia> Mmm... Fine by me. I still have plenty to read.
  113. [21:55] <[Pyg]Mikhail> "Was there somewhere in particular that you wanted to go to?"
  114. [21:57] * Patricia shrugs.
  115. [21:57] <Patricia> Not really. Is there any place you want to be? Last I checked, it was your ship.
  116. [21:59] <[Pyg]Mikhail> "W-well, this is my airship, if there was...um...any place you wanted to go...I wouldn't mind taking you there."
  117. [22:04] <Patricia> Oh, really...
  118. [22:04] * Patricia rubs her shoulder against Mikhail's, looking down on her empty plate.
  119. [22:06] <Patricia> Hmm... I'll think about it... But I think I'm right where I want to be.
  120. [22:07] * [Pyg]Mikhail goes red, as saying that seemed to do that trick.
  121. [22:12] <[Pyg]Mikhail> "Oh? Wh-where might that be?"
  122. [22:13] * [Pyg]Mikhail tries to pull off a knowing tone, but somehow gets a bit of nervousness in the mix.
  123. [22:14] * Patricia turns away from Mikhail, and leans back into him.
  124. [22:14] <Patricia> Right here.
  125. [22:17] * [Pyg]Mikhail would be shooting steam out of his ears if it were at all humanly possible.
  126. [22:18] * Patricia snuggles into Mikhail's arms and brandishes her book before her. Ah, yes. this is the best way to read.
  127. [22:28] * [Pyg]Mikhail hesitates a moment before wrapping his arms around Patricia's middle as she reads.
  128. [22:56] * [Pyg]Mikhail sighs, he'd hate to have to go, but...
  129. [23:00] * [Pyg]Mikhail gives Patricia a peck on the cheek.
  130. [23:00] <[Pyg]Mikhail> "Sorry, you'll have to get up for a bit, I, uh, kinda need to go."
  131. [23:01] * Patricia blushes a little bit. Wait, why does this warm me up after what we did earlier today? Jeez...
  132. [23:01] * Patricia nods, and slips off.
  133. [23:01] <Patricia> Just make sure to stop by before bed, okay?
  134. [23:02] * [Pyg]Mikhail gets up, heading toward the door, but stopping to look back at her.
  135. [23:02] <[Pyg]Mikhail> "Yeah, of course."
  136. [23:03] * [Pyg]Mikhail gives her a little wave before stepping out of her room.
  137. [23:12] * Patricia sighs, rolls over, and turns the page. It's too bad reading can't be a two-person thing...

Powering up the engines, she slowly pulls away from the skydock, and brings the airship about, resuming their previous course.
  145. [19:24] * [Atai]NineOClock_to_Marrakesh steps away from the helm once this is done, and turns to her new toy.
  146. [19:25] * [Atai]NineOClock_to_Marrakesh I mean lackey.

  150. [19:25] * [Atai]NineOClock_to_Marrakesh Okay.

  152. [19:25] * [Atai]NineOClock_to_Marrakesh Anyway.
  153. [19:27] <[Atai]NineOClock_to_Marrakesh> ADDRESS: Navigation Apprentice Gantzholm?
  154. [19:27] <[huh]Milia> Yes?
  155. [19:31] * [Atai]NineOClock_to_Marrakesh beckons her to follow, and steps to the rear of the bridge, by a table covered with maps and navigational tools, beside a map of the world taking up one entire wall. It's somewhat impressive. She stands by it, and looks back at the girl.
  156. [19:32] * [huh]Milia looks at the paraphernalia in awe, following.
  157. [19:32] <[Atai]NineOClock_to_Marrakesh> QUERY: There are three things any navigator needs to know at any one moment. The first is: Where are we?
  158. [19:33] <[huh]Milia> In the sky.
  159. [19:35] * [Atai]NineOClock_to_Marrakesh can see this is going to take a while.
  160. [19:36] <[Atai]NineOClock_to_Marrakesh> ACKNOWLEDGMENT: This is technically correct. However, I was referring to where, on here--

  165. [22:13] * [Atai]NineOClock_to_Marrakesh It's lucky for Milia that Marrakesh has a great deal of patience.
  166. [22:15] <[Atai]NineOClock_to_Marrakesh> NEGATIVE: No, there is not.
  167. [22:15] <[Atai]NineOClock_to_Marrakesh> QUERY: ...Do you remember the name of the city we were docked at just now?
  168. [22:17] <[huh]Milia> ... Dos Palmas? I think...
  169. [22:28] <[Atai]NineOClock_to_Marrakesh> POSITIVE: Correct. You now know the first thing every navigator must know: Where you are.
  170. [22:29] <[Atai]NineOClock_to_Marrakesh> QUERY: Now, If we started out from Kurzodsk, and traveled west across the Sea of Plenty, that puts us in the airspace of the nation of Buena Corrida. Dos Palmas is located on a peninsula, here.

  209. [01:02] <[Atai]NineOClock_to_Marrakesh> UPDATE: Cloudbreak in an estimated four minutes, Master Mikoyan.
  210. [01:03] <[Pyg]Mikhail> "Weather's been bad around here lately. Any word of severe weather?"
  211. [01:06] <[Atai]NineOClock_to_Marrakesh> NEGATIVE: Not aside from what we are flying through, Master Mikoyan.
  212. [01:07] <[Pyg]Mikhail> "Good to know."
  213. [01:19] * [Mys]Felix looks at Marah, a bit sad she can't know the joy of a simple warm snack and eats one himself, mumbling a goodbye through a full mouth as he returns to the kitchens...
  214. [01:32] <[GM]Cerise> Hours pass with nothing major going on board the Iolanta. The sun has long set, but the weather has lightened up leaving a nice clear sky outside the windows. Milia had fallen asleep during more instruction in navigation from Marrakesh and is brought back to her room to sleep. Felix continues to busy himself in the kitchen with his experiments in cuisine. The master is walking down the dimly lit halls toward a familiar room.

  229. [01:46] * Patricia lays down over Mikhail's lap.
  230. [01:48] * [Pyg]Mikhail strokes aside the hair on her forehead.
  231. [01:57] <Patricia> Hey... Mikhail...
  232. [01:57] <[Pyg]Mikhail> Hmm?
  233. [02:00] <Patricia> Have you ever read "Traveler's Heart"?
  234. [02:01] <[Pyg]Mikhail> No. Never heard of it.
  235. [02:02] <Patricia> Mmm... It's about a group of sailors who go from island to island, searching for underground treasures.
  236. [02:06] <[Pyg]Mikhail> Sounds like a lot of adventure novels. Any particular reason you're telling me about this one?
  237. [02:06] * [Pyg]Mikhail begins stroking her head absentmindedly, listening to her.
  238. [02:07] <Patricia> Yeah. One of the lines go like this...
  239. [02:07] <Patricia> "Their home is not a place, but a shelter within their own mind, which they furnish with their dreams, memories, ambitions, friends, and such things. In this way, their home is with them wherever they journey."
  240. [02:07] <Patricia> When I read that, it made me think of you.
  241. [02:09] <[Pyg]Mikhail> Hmm...That does sound a lot like me.
  242. [02:10] * [Pyg]Mikhail has something of a smile on his face, but also of something else mixed in.=
  243. [02:10] <Patricia> That's what you've been doing, isn't it? Filling your airship with those things?
  244. [02:13] * Patricia sends a finger zigzagging down Mikhail's chest.
  245. [02:15] <[Pyg]Mikhail> Well, yeah, that was the idea.
  246. [02:16] <[Pyg]Mikhail> Don't know about the treasure-hunting part though...
  247. [02:18] <[Pyg]Mikhail> I've got a treasure right...
  248. [02:18] * [Pyg]Mikhail lands an index finger on Patricia's nose.
  249. [02:18] <[Pyg]Mikhail> ...here!
  250. [02:19] * Patricia snags his finger and bites it. Gently, mind you.
  251. [02:20] <[Pyg]Mikhail> Oh ho! I see how it is.
  252. [02:21] * [Pyg]Mikhail gives her a little smirk.
  253. [02:21] <Patricia> I think you're just full of hot air.
  254. [02:23] <[Pyg]Mikhail> What's that supposed to mean?
  255. [02:25] * Patricia grins, twisting the finger playfully.
  256. [02:25] <Patricia> How else are we supposed to stay afloat?
  257. [02:25] <[Pyg]Mikhail> ...Magic?
  258. [02:26] <Patricia> Mmm. I don't know if magic can hold all of these dreams, memories, ambitions, and... books.
  259. [02:31] <[Pyg]Mikhail> Well, isn't it called magic because it can do that sort of thing?
  260. [02:32] <Patricia> It's called magic because there isn't really a better way to describe it.
  261. [02:33] <Patricia> When you run out of ideas... it's magic.
  262. [02:36] * Patricia 's gaze shifts away for a moment, only to return with a question.
  263. [02:36] <Patricia> What kind of books do you read?
  264. [02:37] <[Pyg]Mikhail> I'm not particularly picky. If it's interesting I'll read it.
  265. [02:38] <Patricia> Mmm.
  266. [02:40] * Patricia pushes Mikhail over, his back falling across the bed. Patchy rolls towards him, her head now resting on his chest.
  267. [02:40] <[Pyg]Mikhail> Oh.
  268. [02:42] <Patricia> I got to say, Mikhail... That's pretty vague. There's a lot of books that interest me.
  269. [02:42] <[Pyg]Mikhail> Hmm, well...
  270. [02:42] * [Pyg]Mikhail thinks a moment.
  271. [02:43] <[Pyg]Mikhail> Okay, I have been reading a lot of old world mythologies lately.
  272. [02:44] <Patricia> Old world, hmm...
  273. [02:47] <Patricia> Sometimes, I start to wonder what happened to the old world...
  274. [02:49] * Patricia blinks a few times, as if switching the tracks on her train of thought.
  275. [02:51] <Patricia> Well, I'm sure you've read the Odyssey and all those classics... haven't you?
  276. [02:52] <[Pyg]Mikhail> Odyssey's great.
  277. [02:56] <Patricia> Odyssey's one of my favorites, as far as old world literature goes. A lot of tales from that time revolve around heroes that conquer their trials with their brute strength... Odysseus was one of the few that fought using his mind. That's perhaps why his tale is remembered, and many others forgotten.
  278. [02:58] * [Pyg]Mikhail listens to Patricia talk while stroke her hair again.
  279. [03:00] <[Pyg]Mikhail> I hate how the gods keep ruining things for him though.
  280. [03:00] * Patricia has since closed her eyes and removed her glasses, speaking now with the sound of Mikhail's heartbeat pulsing through her mind.
  281. [03:00] <Patricia> hmm... Yeah...
  282. [03:01] <Patricia> Hey, Mikhail... Will we ever go back to our old world? The one we left behind?
  283. [03:06] <[Pyg]Mikhail> ...I don't know.
  284. [03:07] * [Pyg]Mikhail this thought fills him with a little fear.
  285. [03:08] <[Pyg]Mikhail> D-did you...want to go back?
  286. [03:08] * Patricia thinks about it.
  287. [03:08] * Patricia opens her eyes, and smiles to Mikhail.
  288. [03:08] <Patricia> Not really.
  289. [03:10] <Patricia> I don't care if I never leave this ship... or even this room, if you'll keep coming to visit me.
  290. [03:15] * [Pyg]Mikhail lets his hand off her head and goes down to find her hand.
  291. [03:16] <[Pyg]Mikhail> You don't have to worry about that, I'll definitely visit you whenever I can.
  292. [03:18] <Patricia> Mmm...
  293. [03:18] * Patricia squeezes his hand.
  294. [03:18] <Patricia> Thanks.
  295. [03:19] * Patricia lets out a yawn, quickly stifling it.
  296. [03:20] <[Pyg]Mikhail> Getting sleepy, huh? Should I go?
  297. [03:20] <Patricia> Hmm...
  298. [03:20] * Patricia gets up close to Mikhail, speaking directly to his ear.
  299. [03:21] <Patricia> Hey... Why don't you sleep here tonight?
  300. [03:21] * [Pyg]Mikhail 's face goes red as she gets closer to his face.
  301. [03:21] <[Pyg]Mikhail> You...don't mind?
  302. [03:21] * Patricia raises one finger.
  303. [03:23] <Patricia> Don't get any ideas. I only let you do what we did earlier today because I felt kind of sorry for you, you won't get away with that kind of thing so easily anymore. You have to remain a gentleman.
  304. [03:23] <Patricia> ...buuuut...
  305. [03:24] * Patricia lowers the finger back down onto his chest, where it resumes its imaginary scribbles.
  306. [03:25] <Patricia> Since you've been a good boy lately, I suppose I could let you be a pillow for me, just for tonight. You have to keep your pants on, though. Can you do that for me?
  307. [03:26] <[Pyg]Mikhail> ...Yes.
  308. [03:26] * [Pyg]Mikhail is a little disappointed, but, hey, no one ever said things would be that easy, even up here.
  309. [03:34] * Patricia smiles, and reaches behind the bed once more, retrieving a purple pair of pajamas with a crescent moon print.
  310. [03:36] <Patricia> Good. Now... turn away while I change into these. I'll let you fantasize, but no peeking.
  311. [03:36] <[Pyg]Mikhail> Aww...
  312. [03:37] * [Pyg]Mikhail puts his hands over his eyes.
  313. [03:37] * [Pyg]Mikhail then turns over on the mattress so his face is buried in it.
  314. [03:41] * [Pyg]Mikhail , though a little muffled, manages to speak.
  315. [03:41] * Patricia giggles under her breath, and quickly changes into her pajamas. She leaves the first two buttons undone, so the shirt meets right at the center of her chest.
  316. [03:41] <[Pyg]Mikhail> Okay, eyes are closed!
  317. [03:42] <Patricia> ...alright, I'm ready, Mikhail.
  318. [03:42] * [Pyg]Mikhail rolls over onto his back, his hands still over his eyes.
  319. [03:45] * [Pyg]Mikhail slowly lets his hands off his eyes.
  320. [03:49] * Patricia smiles at Mikhail, not sure of what else to do.
  321. [03:49] <Patricia> well...
  322. [03:49] * [Pyg]Mikhail 's eyes scan her top to bottom until the slightly open pajama top catches his eye.
  323. [03:49] <[Pyg]Mikhail> ...
  324. [03:50] <[Pyg]Mikhail> ...Why are you making this hard for me?
  325. [03:50] * Patricia follows his eyes, catches her open throat, and scowls a frown.
  326. [03:52] * [Pyg]Mikhail snaps his gaze away to spare her the embarrassment.
  327. [03:53] <Patricia> I told you, Mikhail, you have to be a gentleman! Aagh... If you don't want to, you should have just said so.
  328. [03:53] * Patricia quickly buttons up her shirt.
  329. [03:54] * [Pyg]Mikhail frowns at himself in disappointment. KEEP IT TOGETHER, MAN!
  330. [03:56] <[Pyg]Mikhail> ...M-maybe this wasn't such a good idea. I should leave.
  331. [03:56] * [Pyg]Mikhail sits up, his face visibly red with embarrassment and still averting his gave even after she had fixed the problem.
  332. [03:58] * Patricia feels a hit of remorse, a little of it carrying over into her voice, but tries to stay vigil.
  333. [03:59] <Patricia> *sigh*...fine. Good night, Mikhail.
  334. [03:59] * [Pyg]Mikhail gets off of her bed and heads for the door.
  335. [04:01] <[Pyg]Mikhail> G...Good night, Patchy.
  336. [04:02] * [Pyg]Mikhail opens the door and steps out, shutting it gently behind him.
  337. [04:05] * Patricia shuts out the lights and throws the covers angrily. A little at him for being such a punk, a little more at herself for expecting a gentlemanly attitude in such a situation. This clouds her mind throughout the night, until eventually, sleep comes.
  338. [04:05] * [Pyg]Mikhail returns to his room in low spirits.
  339. [04:07] * [Pyg]Mikhail drops on his bed, almost tempted to yell into his pillow for his idiocy, but just shuts his eyes to sleep, not bothering throwing his bed sheets over himself.
  340. [04:08] <[Pyg]Mikhail> Nice job, dumbass. Reeeaaal nice.
  341. [Mary*] <[GM]Cerise> Later that night...
  342. [04:10] * Patricia Knocks on Mikhail's door.
  343. [04:11] * [Pyg]Mikhail is woken up from his shallow sleep by the knocks. He gets up and trudges toward the door, his hair mess.
  344. [04:12] <[Pyg]Mikhail> Whozzit?
  345. [04:13] <Patricia> Mikhail...?
  346. [04:14] * [Pyg]Mikhail is a little surprised by the voice on the other side of the door and decides to open it.
  347. [04:14] <[Pyg]Mikhail> ...Patch?
  348. [04:14] * Patricia stands alone, a pillow in hand and sullen in expression. Her hair's a bit of a mess. Strange, as she usually takes good care of it.
  349. [04:15] <Patricia> I'm... sorry... for earlier...
  350. [04:16] <Patricia> Can I... sleep with you?
  351. [04:16] * Patricia doesn't make eye contact until the very last word.
  352. [04:16] * [Pyg]Mikhail is caught a little off guard by her sudden request, especially after his earlier failure.
  353. [04:17] * [Pyg]Mikhail decides it'd be better not to ask anymore questions.
  354. [04:17] <[Pyg]Mikhail> Y-yeah, sure... Come in.
  355. [04:18] * [Pyg]Mikhail steps back a little bit, gesturing for Patricia to come inside.
  356. [04:18] * Patricia comes in... to Mikhail's arms, quickly burying her head in his chest.
  357. [04:21] <Patricia> I-I don't want to get into a fight, so... Let's make up as quick as w-we can... okay?
  358. [04:21] * [Pyg]Mikhail is again caught off guard, taking a second before wrapping his arms around her shoulders. He suppresses the urge to try and say something cool, worried he might just diffuse this very ideal situation.
  359. [04:22] <[Pyg]Mikhail> Uh...Yeah, all right.
  360. [04:22] <Patricia> ...you're not mad anymore?
  361. [04:22] * Patricia asks most sheepishly.
  362. [04:23] <[Pyg]Mikhail> Well, it was me I was mad at...
  363. [04:24] * [Pyg]Mikhail sighs.
  364. [04:24] <[Pyg]Mikhail> I can't even fulfill a simple request.
  365. [04:25] <Patricia> it's okay. but...
  366. [04:25] * Patricia looks up to him.
  367. [04:26] <[Pyg]Mikhail> Hmm?
  368. [04:26] <Patricia> ...Is it really that big of a problem? If I knew, I wouldn't have asked... ah, I guess it's kind of silly to say that now, after I've asked you again...
  369. [04:28] <[Pyg]Mikhail> No, not a problem at all... Really, I'll keep myself under control, cross my heart!
  370. [04:29] <Patricia> ...huh? oh... I understand now...
  371. [04:31] * Patricia relaxes a little bit, breaking the hug and retrieving her pillow.
  372. [04:32] * [Pyg]Mikhail takes this time to shut the door.
  373. [04:33] <Patricia> You were just being you... right? I can't be mad at you for that.
  374. [04:35] <[Pyg]Mikhail> I could least try to be a gentleman, like you said.
  375. [04:36] <[Pyg]Mikhail> At least, as an heir of the Mikoyan family name, I should be more refined.
  376. [04:36] <Patricia> Hmm... maybe.
  377. [04:36] * Patricia presses up against him, pillow between them.
  378. [04:37] <Patricia> But I shouldn't be asking to sleep with the heir of the Mikoyan name when I'm only fourteen years old, should I?
  379. [04:39] * [Pyg]Mikhail 's face goes red again, but fights to keep himself from sputtering in surprise.
  380. [04:39] <Patricia> So, for tonight...
  381. [04:39] * Patricia pushes him back a little bit, or at least tries.
  382. [04:40] <Patricia> ...Just be Mikhail for me. Okay?
  383. [04:41] * [Pyg]Mikhail 's expression now takes one of surprise before turning into a small smile.
  384. [04:41] <[Pyg]Mikhail> Y-yeah, of course.
  385. [04:41] <[Pyg]Mikhail> ...and thanks.
  386. [04:43] <Patricia> You don't have to thank me. Just take my hand, and take me away... hehe, like you did when we first met.
  387. [04:44] * [Pyg]Mikhail does just as she said, taking her hand in his and leading her toward his bed.
  388. [04:47] * Patricia drops the pillow at the foot, instead taking another one to comfort her head. Once he lays down, that is.
  389. [04:50] * [Pyg]Mikhail hesitates before finally getting onto the bed himself, keeping a arms length distance from Patricia. Give her space, don't crowd her. Give her space, don't crowd her...
  390. [04:52] * Patricia crowds him, crawling up close, laying her head across his chest as before. She duly notes his distance, however.
  391. [04:53] <Patricia> Is... this okay?
  392. [04:53] <[Pyg]Mikhail> ...Yeah, that's fine.
  393. [04:54] <Patricia> Are you sure? I mean, if something bothers you, it won't hurt my feelings, so just tell me.
  394. [04:56] <[Pyg]Mikhail> I'm just being careful of what I do, that's all.
  395. [04:56] * [Pyg]Mikhail scratches his head.
  396. [04:56] <[Pyg]Mikhail> I...don't want to screw this up.
  397. [04:56] * Patricia blushes a little.
  398. [04:57] <Patricia> well... it's okay if you're a little perverted, just... don't do anything serious, okay? Not yet.
  399. [05:02] * [Pyg]Mikhail ponders the offer. Well, gee, so much for trying to be a gentleman.
  400. [05:02] * [Pyg]Mikhail shakes his head to snap out of it.
  401. [05:05] <[Pyg]Mikhail> L-let's just sleep tonight. I think I'll be satisfied with...uh...you being...here.
  402. [05:07] * Patricia , deciding it's best not to encourage indecision, complies, snuggling closer to Mikhail.
  403. [05:08] <Patricia> Okay. Good night, Mikhail...
  404. [05:09] <[Pyg]Mikhail> Sweet dreams, Patchy.
  405. [05:11] <Patricia> sweet dreams...
  406. [05:11] * Patricia falls fast asleep, her worries now to rest.
  407. [05:12] * [Pyg]Mikhail shuts his eyes too. Ah, this is really nice.
  408. [05:12] <[GM]Cerise> And so they slept.
  409. [05:14] <[GM]Cerise> Thus concludes this session! Good job, everyone!
  410. [05:15] * Marybot tackles Cerise while showering her in kisses. With her hands constricted, there's no escaping the onslaught.
