Gladion swung his blades blindly.

“You’re a monster,” he said. “You’re a monster!”

“Gladion, please understand, it was an accident! It was all an accident, I never meant to hurt you, or Lillie—”

“Don’t say her name!” He lunged one last time and stabbed into Lusamine’s side. She let out a shriek.

“You stabbed me…” she said. “You stabbed your own mother!”

“Fuck you.”

Lusamine gasped. “Watch the language!” She pushed him away and grasped at her wound. He’d made it too shallow.
