- ==== [S4] Tier Lists ====
- Find out how certain player groups rate units based on tiers. Take these ratings with a grain of salt. These ratings should not dictate the way YOU want to play Fire Emblem Heroes. If you’re playing this game to use your favourite units, who cares if your favourite character has a “shitty” rating? They are still usable for the story + various modes on FEH. With a little bit of investment, even “lower-tiered” characters can get the job done.

- ==== [S6] Frequently Asked Questions ====
- Q. How do I play this??
- Two methods:
- 1. Install it on your phone via iOS App Store or the Google Play Store.
- 2. Download the APK to your phone (Google "Fire Emblem Heroes APK") and install it. You can also install QooApp (Also google it) and install/update it from there
- ----
- Q. But I don't have a phone?
- You can follow these steps: [Tested Oct 24, 2017]
- 1. Install MEmu v2.9.6 on your PC. https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B-7mA5whz6LldEt3VlhVREJHSE0/view
- 2. Install the Android Lollipop extension [Direct Download] http://www.memuplay.com/download/Memu-Lollipop-rc5.exe
- 3. Download this FEH1.8.ova file. https://drive.google.com/file/d/0BxlK2D4eHd2gNXFSaVdlTU1HWlU/view?usp=drive_web
- 4. Launch Multi-Memu
- 5. At the bottom right, select “Create Emulator” > “Import Emulator” and select the “FEH1.8.ova” file downloaded in step 3.

- 6. Start the emulator you just imported. Fire Emblem Heroes should be pre-installed.
- 7. Start FEH. If you get the message “Fire Emblem Heroes won’t run unless you update Google Play services.”, keep clicking Update until you reach the “Agree to User Agreement” screen.
- If you don’t plan on rerolling, link your Nintendo account now before you forget.

- ----
- Q. How do I reroll for my favorite character?
- If ROOTED, delete deviceaccount.xml located in /data/data/com.nintendo.zaba/sharedprefs
- If not rooted, clear all data in android settings and start again. You'll have to redownload additional data so I don't recommend using your cellular data to reroll.
- ----
- Q. What should I roll for if I don't care about favourites?
- Try to roll for a few of the 5* S+ or S tier characters on the F2P tier list (https://feheroes.gamepedia.com/Tier_List). They're good for helping you go through the storyline + early arena until you have the resources to invest in other units.
- ----
- Q. Will anything happen if I switch between the iOS and Android versions of FEH?
- Orbs are exclusive to the OS you earned them on. You cannot transfer orbs between iOS and Android.
- ----
- Q. What are IVs? Are they absolutely necessary?
- If you've played Pokemon, FEH's IVs are like natures. Similar units may have different stats at level 40 to introduce "variety" in FEH. In most cases, units will have one positive IV and one negative IV.
- Positive IVs (or boon) are better than normal: +3 usually, occasionally +4
- Negative IVs (or bane) are worse than normal: -3 usually, occasionally -4
- On occassion, you may even roll a neutral unit (no stats are higher/lower than normal). Optimal IVs aren't necessary for clearing the story. However, they are recommended for the highest tiers in arena (Tier 17+) where IVs may be the difference between completing and breaking a streak.
- To "fix" up IVs of a unit, you can do one of two things. The first option is to equip a Sacred Seal associated with the negative IV.
- You can also merge similar units together. Simply merge the undesired IV'd unit to the better IV'd unit. The better IV'd unit will gain stats if both units are the same rarity (denoted as +1 after merge). The unit will also gain bonus SP and all skills learned on the bad IV'd unit will available on the good IV'd unit.
- Units you get for free will always be neutral. This includes reward units from Grand Hero Battles, quests and Tempest Trials. Free banner summons can be neutral but not 100% guaranteed.
- You can check your IVs here: http://feheroes.gamepedia.com/Stats_Calculator
- ----
- Q. What are Sacred Seals? How do I upgrade them?
- Sacred Seals are basically movable skills. You may recognize some seals like HP+3, Atk+1 which are also available as A/B/C skills. However, there are other seals like Quickened Pulse which do not have their own skill. Once you equip someone with a seal, you can unequip it and give it to another unit if you want. You can get seals from Squad Assaults, occasional seal quests, TT rewards and even forge them with sacred coins/badges.
- To upgrade these seals, you’ll need access to the Sacred Seal Forge. The forge is story-locked and will not be accessible until you finish Intermission 1: Awakening Ancient Power. Once you’ve unlocked the forge, you can either upgrade or create seals by clicking the arrows near the top.
- Badges and Sacred Coins are required for forging/upgrading. To earn badges, simply farm the Training Tower. Different coloured badges are available on Tuesday-Friday while any colour is up for grabs on Saturday-Monday. I recommend farming the higher leveled stratums for the chance of getting Great badges as well as regular badges. Sacred Coins are available through the Arena, Voting Gauntlet and Tempest Trials.
- ----
- Q. What is Skill Inheritance (SI)?
- The gist of skill inheritance is that you sacrifice a unit (aka fodder) to another unit. Sacrificing fodder lets the other unit learn 3 skills at an increased SP cost. The skills must be unlocked on the sacrificed unit for the new unit to inherit those skills. For example, Arvis can only learn Life and Death 1 and 2 if you perform SI with a 4* Hana. To learn Life and Death 3, you will need to sacrifice a 5* Hana. There's also some limitations on SI so keep that in mind.
- ----
- Q. What are some popular skills to inherit?
- Assist: Reposition, Draw Back, Swap, Pivot (for Armors)
- Special: Moonbow, Draconic Aura, Bonfire, Iceberg
- A: Fury, Darting / Death Blow, Triangle Adept, Life and Death
- B: Quick Riposte, Desperation, Vantage, the weaponbreakers (Swordbreaker, Lancebreaker, Tomebreakers)
- C: Hone Atk or Spd, Threaten skills, Cavalry/Flier buffs + spurs
- Feel free to experiment. Builds for your desired unit can be found on Gamepedia or Gamepress.
- ----
- Q. How do I SP grind?
- Units earn double SP on Friday and Saturday. You can also earn double SP if you equip a weapon valor C skill (which is only on specific units). Arena bonus units also earn double. Everything stacks.
- Chapter 3-4's combined Chain Challenge (30 Stamina) is a great option for grinding. However, don't finish the chain challenge. Leave after finishing the 9th map so you can keep regular SP gains (completing a CC will reduce your SP gains from 3 SP to 1 SP per kill).
- ----
- Q. If I merge a fully SI’d unit to another unit, will the other unit retain the SI from the first unit?
- Yes.
- ----
- Q. [insert month here] schedule WHEN?
- That’s up to IS to release. Check the bulletin board or twitter (@FE_Heroes_JP) for your answer.
- ----
- Q. I hate [insert gamemode here], what do I do?
- S E N D F E E D B A C K
- ----
- Q. Why should I link a Nintendo account?
- Main reason is to keep your account in case you intend on switching devices. If you do switch phones, you can just relink your Nintendo account after reinstalling FEH. Everything will be restored (outside of orbs if you switch between iOS and Android).
- You also get access to a reward shop on MyNintendo (https://my.nintendo.com/) which gives you additional items like Stamina Potions, Dueling Crests and a one-time reward of 10 orbs (for free).
- ----
- Q. What should I buy on the MyNintendo shop with my points?
- In my personal opinion, get all of the Light’s Blessings first. There’s a limited amount so you’re not spending too many points anyway.
- After that, redeem your points for Stamina Potions.
- You don’t need Dueling Crests as much since you get one for free every day (via Arena Assault quests). The crystals / shards are a waste of your points.
- ----
- Q. How do I get more Platinum Points?
- 1. 100 points for every completed story chapter.
- 2. 30 points for logging into MyNintendo and clicking the coin next to your Mii. [weekly]
- 3. 30 points for visiting Nintendo’s website while logged in. https://www.nintendo.com/ [weekly]
- 4. 30 points for visiting the eShop on a Wii U or 3DS [weekly]
- 5. You can also keep an eye out for occasional e-mails from Nintendo which award points if you want (birthday gives 300 points, etc).
- ----
- Q. What do I do while stamina recharges or I get bored of FEH?
- Try some of the console FE games or do something productive.
