- IN-UNIVERSE CULLING CLARIFICATIONS/LEGISLACERATIVE LORE
- CAN CULLING IN A FIGHT BE ALLOWED UNDER CERTAIN CIRCUMSTANCES?
- 1. 'Self-defense':
- If you can effectively argue that you feared for your life at the hands of the other troll and argue that the fight was clearly taking a lethal turn, your troll will be able to cull that character, but will be detained for questioning and may face punishment.
- 2. 'Specialty Duel':
- If both trolls agree to a 'Lethal Duel', the characters can participate in a fight which -could- potentially result in one of the character's deaths.
- 3. 'Accidental death':
- If the troll can prove that the death was entirely accidental and that their actions could have either
- a. not logically been assumed to result in death,
- b. were the result of mind-altering psionics,
- That troll may not be culled by the drones, depending on the results of questioning.
- Otherwise, unauthorized culling is NOT CURRENTLY ALLOWED on Verdant. If you kill someone during a fight, you will go to jail and may face culling yourself.
