mk zero fight

Kirby ran through the fields, searching for cover.

"Yaaaahhh!" He screamed, dodging another blast from Zero's Star Rod.

Finally, he found a large log and crouched beneath it, his back to the wood.

"We are ever closer to the other half, Lord Zero!" Zero's apprentice, Blader, said.

"We will not stop until it is in our hands." The Dark Matter lord replied. "Then, we will rule the universe!" He threw his head back and cackled.

"Over there, Lord Zero! I hear something!" The beastly N-Z exclaimed. He could hear the sound of Kirby hyperventilating from behind the log.

Zero and his lackeys trotted over to the log where Kirby was hiding.

"Hmph. Just a boy and nothing more. Destroy him!" Zero ordered.

Masher, another of Zero's minions, readied his mace. Just then, Meta Knight flew into the scene, kicking Masher squarely in the face.

"Well, if it isn't the masked warrior, Meta Knight." Zero said slyly.

"I won't let you get the other half, no matter what!" Meta Knight yelled as he rushed toward Zero, Galaxia in hand.

The two clashed, fighting hard. Eventually, Zero seemed to have the upper hand.

"Kirby!" Meta Knight shrieked. "Run away! Find the Temple of the Mystics!"

"That old place? What for?" Kirby yelled back.

"I don't have any time to explain!" Meta Knight replied as he rolled away from another Star Rod blast. "Just go!"

Kirby ran off into the distance, where the Temple of the Ancients lied...
