background: mirae was born into a family of 3 in an apartment in anyang, south korea. when mirae was 6 years old her parents gotten a divorce after miraes mom had found out that their father has been cheating on her for 2 years. after that incident it had only been mirae, her brother and her hardworking mother. as mirae got older she often found her mom telling her to be careful of guys since they're all the same and will end up at some point breaking you heart. "love is as dangerous as playing with fire." was what mirae often heard from her mom and till this day she still does. due to the incident between her parents she grew to dislike her dad and in all honesty she doesn't even remember him that much so he doesn't really have a hold on her. since miraes mom was a single parent she decided to take on another job which was music teaching. she was already talented in that area and was the one who taught mirae how to play the guitar at the age of 9. when mirae was 18 she graduated anyang high school and took a year off to help her mom out in the restaurant. when she was 20 she went to anyang university and majored in music. on the side, she has been teaching guitar while occasionally helping her mom out in her restaurant to save up money to buy her own place.

as a child, mirae was always making jokes, making her known as the class clown even throughout high school. her corny yet funny jokes always made people laugh. she was someone who you can definitely count on to make a smile show up on your face if you were having a bad day. mirae just knows how to detect the mood of any place and how to make it brighter and that's by bringing laughter. she's really quick witted and clever so her reactions, responses and actions always has people rolling on the floor laughing. she has perfect timing with everything and knows when the atmosphere needs a little uplifting. if she were an idol she'd be known as having "variety sense". she can definitely make people laugh even without even trying sometimes.

mirae can be also known as a thoughtful person. though mirae is still young she's someone who people can come to when they need advice or some comforting, knowing that no judgmental stares or words will be coming from her. whenever people are seen being troubled, mirae is the first to go up to them and lend a helping hand even if they didn't ask for it. she enjoys helping people, it's something she's good at and hopes others can receive some form of healing or comfort from her words. she thinks of others first before herself if that's an easier way to put it. she's also thoughtful enough to stubbornly refuse to change one's opinion or action despite their attempts to persuade her to do.

mirae is definitely intact with her emotions. what i mean by this is that though she is always happy and cheerful she tends to cry easily over things that others could hold their tears back for. she doesn't have good control over her emotion like others. she just can't hold her tears back so she easily cries over a lot of things. she's one of those people who will cry after seeing a dog commercial that tries to get you to adopt a dog or sees someone getting yelled at and cries. mirae just wants everything to be good and happy as she tries to be like that but when it doesn't end up being that way she gets emotional. overall mirae is just a humorous girl with sensitive feelings.

how you act around him: mirae is always clinging on to him. she just loves showing her affection to him so she often stays by his side. she also always wants to see him smile or laugh, never sad, so she's always joking around and making jokes to make him laugh. when he does smile or laugh she'll give him a short tight hug. she's also really nice and thoughtful towards him. she puts his needs first and always thinks about his opinion/feeling.

how he acts around you: around mirae chanyeol is always happy. of course he always is, instead with her he doesn't need to fake it and loves spreading his happiness with her. he enjoys being able to see her laugh at one of his jokes or vice versa which is why he tries to be funny, cute and clumsy around her if it means she'll smile. he also takes care of her first though it's kind of hard to do since mirae is always jumping to help him first but he tries his best and does it in small way like cleaning her hands, tying her shoes, moving her hair back etc. he's just really kind and caring to her. he can also be protective at times but will calm down with a cute act

his personality: without a doubt chanyeol is the happy virus of the group. he seems to never get mad and always has a smile on his face or laughter escape his mouth. he always stays happy for the people around him and is definitely a vitamin. never faltering. without chanyeol, how would happiness be spread? with his happy virus self comes a reaction king. his expressions and response to everything is what makes him a fun guy to be around. his reactions will never bore you and you can always count on chanyeol to make your corny joke feel like the funniest one in the world. chanyeol is also a kind guy. he's always the first to save his friends in awkward situations and deal with it. he isn't afraid to put himself out there if it means his friends are comfortable. also, chanyeol can get sad or mad too he just seems to hide his emotions for the sake of his loved ones.

how did you two meet?: at the party they had a karaoke machine that can be used to sing and play instruments. chanyeol was ushered up to start singing a karaoke song by his friends. while he was singing mirae thought it would sound beautiful with some acoustic guitar sounds so she sneaked up on the stage and began playing her guitar to his singing, when he turned after hearing the guitar she flashed a smile and they both continued making harmony

first impressions of each other:
* chanyeol — he had seen her around at the party and thought she was stunning but never wanted to go up and talk to her. her beauty was the kind you'll see playing lead in a mean girls movie so he didn't dare to approach as he thought she was a mean girl just in hiding. when he was forced to go up on stage he had not seen her but thought nothing about it until he turned his head to hear sweet acoustic guitar sounds coming from behind him. when he saw her playing her guitar and looking up at him with a sweet smile his bad thoughts about her went away
* mirae — she had saw chanyeol staring at her while at the party but acted like she didn't know, but when he looked away she stared back at him. she tried to keep herself at a distance from him though since her mother always told her how bad guys were but she hasn't been in a relationship for 23 years and wanted to have one and he just seemed to ignite that flame in her. she became even more in awe and interested when she heard him singing. it was deep, smooth and calming. she didn't know what came over her but a minute later she was on stage with him playing the guitar that was provided at the party. when he turned around she shot him a smile without realizing it
