Buzzword!

(Part of the Hiker Clarence series of Pokemon Showdown mini-games)

In this game, a single simple word is chosen to act as a buzzword, and the player has to see the word used in the battle chat by an opponent at some point during a laddering session. This game tests your ability to manipulate your opponent into saying whatever word you want!

You can play it in two ways: competitive or cooperative.

COOPERATIVE:
Two or more people come up with a single simple and arbitrary (i.e. not Pokemon-related) buzzword. The word can be anything from "pizza" to "shit" to "butt". Once a buzzword is established, the team has to hop on the same alt and ladder together while trying to chat with the opponent. You both win when the opponent uses the buzzword.

COMPETITIVE:
One person chooses a buzzword for the other person, who is playing the games. Only the person who is playing the games can chat with the opponent and get them to say the buzzword.
(Variation: you can also do a competitive game where the other person can type in the chat and sabotage the other)

EXAMPLE:
If the buzzword is "pizza":
SuperPokeTuber: whats your fav food?
wartortlenick01: thats a weird question but ok...
wartortlenick01: i guess cheeseburgers?
SuperPokeTuber: hm
SuperPokeTuber: do you like italian?
wartortlenick01: i guess
wartortlenick01: although i dont really eat much italian besides pizza or spaghetti

In this case, you win!

CAVEATS:
-You can't use the buzzword yourself.
-You can't force someone to use the word. ("my english not good what is the round thing with sauce and cheese") It is at the players' discretion to decide what is cheating. The buzzword should come out organically through conversation.
-Rule 8 always applies. Do whatever you want to make it more interesting!
