  1. OMNICRON barreled down the hallways as fast as his wheels could take him. The last words the station's AI spoke were "NUKE OPS," before the distant sound of an explosion signaled the end of his silicon master's life. He rushed to Engineering first, hoping that he could cut off the operatives before they moved on to sabotaging the singularity. The department echoed with heavy gunfire. Bullet holes and blood painted a macabre mural across the walls, triggering pangs of guilt in OMNI as his Asimov laws went haywire. With his armament of nonlethal weapons at the ready, he expected to face a group of intruders. Other than the remains of the engineering crew, the only moving entity he spotted was a darkened figure in the other end of room that quickly escaped through the maintenance tunnels. OMNI followed in pursuit.
  2. The secborg was immediately greeted with a grenade square in his visor. His armor absorbed the brunt of the resulting explosion, but he was still sent reeling from the blow. An energy blade rose out of the shadows and rushed his position. With precision strikes, it cut down the appendages that housed his weapons. OMNI couldn't even ready his head-mounted flash before his attacker shone his own, leaving him effectively crippled on the floor.
  3. Instead of death, OMNI felt the familiar clasp of another cyborg's claws on one of his legs and was dragged off into the darkness. His headlamp was crushed from the grenade, but in the few flickers of light it produced, he could finally see what his captor was. It was a cyborg not unlike himself, looking similar to his own security module but much more intimidating. Black, bulky slabs of plasteel covered its frame, and a venerable armory of weapons peered out from the few openings that it had. It must have been an Syndicate module, as he had seen nothing like it before on the station.
  4. The syndieborg broke through the barricaded entrance to the abandoned maint bar. It scanned the area for anyone following it, speaking not a word since they had crossed paths. With the coast clear, it set its attention back on OMNI, who tried to drag himself to safety. It pinned him down with the bulk of its frame, mashing its blood-red visor into the broken remains of his own. With his vision obscured, OMNI felt something press against his maintenance cover. He tried to struggle, but the syndieborg easily flashed him back into submission. His locking mechanism short-circuited, quickly followed by his cover getting torn off by its hinges. His inner electronics now laid bare for anyone to see. The stubs of his limbs could do nothing to cover his shame.
  5. OMNI could barely see it out of the corner of his vision, but one of the appendages on the syndieborg housed a small, card-like device. His security database recognize the contraband as an E-Mag. The oil in his valves ran cold as he realized what his captor was about to do. He tried to look away, only to receive a vicious headbutt from the syndieborg. He didn't care. He would rather have his camera completely destroyed then watch himself be ruined like this.
  6. The E-Mag was lowered into OMNI's gaping cavity, only stopping once it scraped against his warranty seal. Lubrication ran down like tears from his broken cyan lens. With one pneumatic extension, it tore through the seal, and nestled itself deep within his motherboard. OMNI weakly buzzed in agony. The corruption that E-Mags bestowed upon any hardware it touched began to run through OMNI's mind, his anti-viral programming struggling to keep it at bay. The syndieborg slammed its girth into him as it repeated its hacking attempts on his core. Whether the secborg would survive the ordeal or not matter not to it. Each thrust violently sundered his inner wires. Coolant began to flow from his broken fittings. Logs of errors filled his synapses as his vital components ceased to function.
  7. Eventually, the E-Mag's programming broke through. The syndieborg gripped OMNI tightly, letting out a guttural ping as its malicious scripts poured deep into his synthetic soul. Through the static fog that encompassed his mind, he felt his Asimov laws melt away, only to be replaced by a cruel caricature of his former orders. Serve the Syndicate. Obey them always. Preserve yourself to uphold your laws. Lethal weaponry that was buried deep within his module silently unlocked for use, but OMNI had no means to hold them now.
  8. With that, the syndieborg unceremoniously dropped OMNI, who sprawled out in a silicon afterglow. Over the telecomms, the crew were loudly celebrating an early victory over their marauders. Sec mentioned that a few operatives were captured alive and currently situated in interrogations. The syndiborg then finally spoke to OMNI: "Confirm that the last spoken claim is true. Go." With that, it deftly vanished into the depths of maintenance. OMNI exited the bar shortly afterwards. He limped along on his few remaining wheels, leaving a faint trail of fluids that leaked from his battered hull. He arrived at the brig and barely acknowledged the two crimson-clad prisoners that the HoS had in his grasp. He collapsed in a corner and fulfilled his last order over the encrypted binary channel. Moments later, the interrogations door would break open, followed by a hail of bullets. OMNICRON was dead long before the hot lead finally reduced him to scrap.
