  1. It's hard to know where to begin. I have felt very overwhelmed the last couple days and still haven't fully decompressed nor processed everything. I had high hopes for a successful marathon, but didn't anticipate a life changing experience. For it being my first marathon hosted on my channel, my expectations were blown away. I feel so wholesome seeing my friends and community come together for my fiancee and I.

  3. First off, I'd like to say thanks to all the runners who submitted and participated in the marathon. Not a single person dropped a run. Every runner showed up on time for their run. That is incredible in itself. The only reason the schedule fell behind was because of me. I should have gave myself more setup time between runs or a setup block to help catch the schedule up. Either way, thank you for being patient.

  5. Next, I'd like to thank everyone who helped with the in the background. A big thanks to Unlink and Hitokage for helping restream so I could get some sleep on Saturday. Without them, I would have had to cut the marathon short. Another thanks to JoeDamillio who helped get audio setup in between runs and finish the daunting task of completing the schedule. A special thanks to crismas for creating the cute zebra mascot for the layouts. And finally, my love, Amanda, for helping keep track of donations through most of the marathon.
  6.
  7. And last but not least, thanks to everyone who donated. I was fortunate enough to have some prizes kindly donated by crismas, PhilthyTurtle, Countdown, Lukelogidice, emetatron, and PQube Games (for game keys). And a special shoutout to Muttski who kindly hosted a fundraiser of his own which generated over $1,500! The generosity in this community is out of this world. I'm very fortunate to have this level of support and will never take this for granted.

  9. As far as how tech went during the marathon, I feel like I can improve on several aspects. I'm still not super savvy with utilizing all of OBS Studio's features. I'm pretty sure I could have had layouts pre-typed with game information, instead of doing it during setup time. Speaking of setup time, there's should have been more time added to the schedule. Again, most of the reason for being behind was because of this oversight.
  10.
  11. I didn't forget about the prizes either. I've been spending the last few days sorting out the donations to make sure everyone was accounted for. As of now, I plan to stream the drawing live this Sunday. I'm doing an old school "grab from a hat" method. I also do NOT have a Twitch names for all donations. If you forgot to leave one, just DM me and let me know as soon as you can. If not, I will have to use your first name and 1st letter of your last (i.e. John S.). I will then contact you by email if you won. If for some reason, prizes are unclaimed, I will redraw at a later date.
  12.
  13. I will highlight each run in the coming days, just be patient. I have been trying to catch up on sleep and normalize my schedule again. I really haven't had any time to breathe since the marathon because I had to go right back to work the next day. Today is the first day I'm starting to feel normal and rested.
  14.
  15. I think that covers just about everything. I should be resuming normal streams soon. I might continue grinding Mickey Mousecapade and continue to play shorter games/categories until I return from the trip. Unfortunately, we still have NO word from insurance on whether this will be approved in time for the scheduled surgery (March 31st). It's infuriating to know we could get screwed at the last minute and lose our deposit for our Airbnb. So right now, were taking one day and a time, and we will do everything we can to make this surgery happen.

  17. Thanks for reading!
