- [12:17] The chieftain would casually stroll around Gehenna's claim, the square itself was quiet, and without the clamor of tribesmate pacing on the cobblestone it was actually a very dreary sight.
- Sauntering to the west, Sugarboy would make his way onto the sandy white beaches the squished between his toes as he made his way ankle deep into the water.
- His mind was heavy with the state of affairs, the Thornberries continued not to cooperate, their population was dwindling, and War was on the horizon. The greying blonde wasn't picked as chieftain for his might, but his virtue of kindness, hardwork, and how much he cared for Gehenna and it's people.
- This is what he knew.
- However, he could not shake the ideal of what a chieftain was meant to be. Strong, dependable, he was at the top for not just his cunning and leadership, but the physical power he wielded.
- That said, the elder had never been much of a fighter, despite all of his attempts throughout his youth, and thirties. He had prioritized utility, and helping people rather than becoming a more competent warrior. Though that would not be the case any longer, he had his own power that was to be respected, but he lacked a proper technique to tie it all together.
- His mind would drift back to his Expedition with Kuhn, the thrill he felt in that underwater siege. Truly he was in his element there.
- In his element.
- An idea would go off in the old alchemist's head, and he'd begin walking deeper into the ocean. The waves beat and pushed him back, but he continued on until his feet could no longer touch the bottom.
- He'd sink down to the bottom, finding a beautiful and colorful reef that housed many little critters that swam about. Tiny little whirlpools no larger than a staw would swirl from his nose as it fed him air from the surface.
- Sugarboy would continue to drift along the see shore, his legs crossing over one another as he sat up and closed his ocean blues beneath the waves.
- Mana coalescing around him, bleeding through the waters around him and expanding his senses. The boundary between the body and his water would become skewed as he could sense and feel every fish that swam in his vicinity. His vision growing wider and wider until he could feel every living being that stirred the water around them in the Reef.
- He was in his element, but what to do from here? Sugarboy had often done this during his fishing trips, but it was more of a form of relaxing, here he sought for a combative application.
- He would think over his battles and what he lacked, he just wish he had a little more control over the battlefield, move some pieces around a little better. Maybe that was it- he'd focus on the chaotic organization of fish around him, reaching out to force them into a standstill.

- [12:30] Conjuring a wave was no issue for a long time trained hydrosophist like Sugarboy, though taking control of every particle of water and force it to your will, rather than just letting it flow about as it pleased as a difficult task.
- Here, under the sea, the tides moved of their own fruition, he could feel it's direction coursing around him, the might of the ocean. Fish would slow in their wake, but not the steady stop that the blonde man had been looking for.
- He'd release his grasp, and fish would scatter around, unsure of what was going on while Sugarboy meditated further. For him, water had always been about movement and following that which pushed you.
- Though this went against that flow, to assert dominance over the waves themselves. It was much like ruling, there was only so much you could do to leader your people, but to be a Chieftain was to take command when needed, and that is what Sugarboy needed now.
- Determination would boil within as he called on the inner Chieftain he knew he could be, frustration from the Thornberries and others who didn't know how to just cooperate. Emotions swirled inside as he reached out to the school of fish, wishing to make them go still.

- [12:39] Marine life would struggle and squirm as they were suspended in the tide, Sugarboy had gotten a clear picture of every lifeform around him, as if he held each of them in his own hands.
- He could see predators with jaws wide open to consume prey, and with a little reorganizing, most would be moved out of the way before being released.
- There was the one word that stuck out in his mind as he sought the seize each fish in a watery hold, still.
- Something about the word resonated within him, for some reason it reminded him of Dawn. Lifeless, breaking the cycle and becoming stagnant. Still is how he described himself during that time.
- No emotions, no desires, nothing to push him other than returning a debt to Lady Wight. He did what he had to at the time to get a job done, maybe that still conviction was all he needed now.
- Suddenly he would feel a larger entity make it's presence known in the little poolthat Sugarboy was occupying. Steadying himself, he would feel himself grow a little cold reminded of Dawn, the word setting itself in his mind once more as he sought to make a shark cease to move in his bubble beneath the sea.

- [12:46] It would thrash and shake, but only head for a minute, it would be quite angered by the blonde's attempts. Was that not the right thing to focus on? He'd question himself, movement or control, what was he looking for in this skill?
- The shark would dive for him, jaws wide and jagged teeth gnarled out for the Chieftain. Movement. Blasting a stream of water below him, he'd propel himself out of the way of the shark as it's head was driven in the sand.
- Still within the reach of his Mana, Sugarboy would nod, okay, that worked, maybe I can just- and as Sharks do, it had kept moving, turning for another lunge. Rather than blast him with another stream, the Chieftain would force a wave to oppose the creature, redirecting it one way as the tide carried Sugarboy in the other.
- He did not expect to be a shark matador today.

- [12:49] The shark was hydrodynamic, cutting through the current and lashing out at the blonde, who oh so narrowly avoided being bitten.
- There was a moment the shark swam out of range of Sugarboy's vision, his reach slipping as his vision shrank. His mana was running thin and he had an angry shark on him.
- Water would wrap around him, elevating him out of the water and carrying him back to shore. Still much left to be desired, a question in his mind: motion, or stillness?
