  10. No one genuinely believes that the Earth is flat. Not "Jeranism" - not "DITRH" - not "Mark Sargent" - not any of these characters genuinely believe the Earth is flat.

  14. It has been through repetition that they have gotten very good at appearing convinced by their own bullsh!t. If you listen to these people early on you can hear doubt, hesitation and insecurity in their voices. Listen to the first time these people professed the Earth to be flat. There is no confidence.

  18. That means they started out by asserting the Earth is flat but were not at that moment genuinely convinced of it (nor could they have been for what they needed to witness has always been missing).

  22. All they have done is picked a position and like a lawyer become good at selling it to a jury. A lawyer will defend a man who he believes is guilty of the most terrible of crimes *so why would you think it's any different for those professing a belief in the flat Earth*?

  26. Each of us were given the belief the Earth is a ball as children. This was done through images that we accepted at the time as real because we did not know any better. We trusted we were shown real things by adults who were showing us real things. (But we may as well have been shown cartoon drawings.)

  30. This damage caused a fracturing of our minds while it was still forming and the damage is more or less permanent. The only way to undo that damage would be to literally go far enough away from the Earth's surface to see the entirety of its shape - or to send a camera that you trust in your place to take a photo.

Until then all a person can have are "doubts" about the Earth's shape - and those doubts only arise because trust in the lie system at some point got broken (and so all of its claims that lack sufficient proof are now open to being disputed - sending the person over the edge of insanity - as intended).
