  1. Do you guys think, that if you had to, you would be able to move out of the United States right now at this very moment, to attend university in China? It seems like a daunting and scary thing to do, but that's exactly what my partner Xizheng did in January of 2014, except the other way around.
  2.
  3. Xizheng was born in the Shangdong province of China, in the city of Jinan, which is the capital of Shangdong. He attended high school in his home country, but decided to apply to American universities for a variety of reasons. He liked the idea of American society, and the accolades of universities in the United States. While all his other friends applied to schools in Japan, Canada, and Australia, Xizheng felt a calling to our beloved country, and ultimately, our beloved school, Rutgers. Nowadays, he lives off campus in Edison and enjoys playing videos games, watching anime, and listening to music such as EDM and metal (his favorite artist is Hardwell). He also likes to watch movies and TV shows, of which Interstellar and Game of Thrones are his favorites, respectively. He studies Computer Science here, and is both a business and math minor. When asked about why he decided to pursue CS, Xizheng explained that everything in the world will soon, if not already, have ties in technology. In fact, his father was also one of the first students to study CS when these types of programs became available in China, which had a considerable factor in Xizheng's decision. When not studying, you'll probably find him eating his favorite cuisines like Chinese or Italian food - he really dislikes eggplants and cauliflower so try to avoid gifting him those things. Outside of his education, Xizheng cares about important issues like human rights and world overpopulation. He is by far not a religious person, but he does believe that doing good in this world is the right thing to do. When Xizheng graduates in May, he hopes to find a job or go to graduate school for further studies.
