nan "Would you like me to put you to bed first, master?"
pc "I'm not a child."
nan "I did not mean to imply that, but I can still help you get comfortable."
pc "Okay, fine. Do your thing. Bedroom's right in there."
nan "At once, master."
x "The nandroid quickly moves past you and into the bedroom. After attending to your personal hygiene, you join her."
x "She's just finished making up the bed as you enter. When the nandroid sees you, she unfolds the blanket from one corner of the bed, presenting the slip between mattress and blanket as an invitation."
nan "Here you go, master."
pc "Very nice."
x "You sit down on the bed and swing your legs up and around, then slide them under the covers, but you remain upright."
nan "And if master will now lie down?"
pc "Right."
x "You lean back and adjust your whole body so that your head is resting on the pillow, legs stretched out along the length of the bed."
x "As soon as you're settled in, the nandroid pulls the blanket back up around you. She sings as she gently tucks the comforter in between the mattress and your body, leaving you with a snug sensation that isn't uncomfortably tight."
x "When she's done with that, she surprises you by giving you a light kiss on your forehead. Her lips are cold and metallic, but it warms you nonetheless."
nan "Good night, master. Sweet dreams."
pc "Good night, [nan_name]."
x "The nandroid turns off the light before leaving the room and closing the door. For a moment, you feel anxious, feeling that you'll open the door in the morning and she'll be gone, and you were stupid enough to let her go without watching her put herself into sleep mode."
x "A bigger part of you trusts the machine to do exactly what it's told, so you soon drift away to a deep, sound sleep. It's the first time in your whole life that you've felt true satisfaction. You dream of running away with [nan_name], away from the busy-bots and their insane overlord, away from your shitty house in the middle of nowhere."
