  12.
  13. [ 2015.02.28 18:26:06 ] EVE System > Channel MOTD: The main auditorium for SeyCon is modern in both design and function.Rows of nano-manufactured seating have been made available for attendees. Each adjusts dynamically to the weight and posture of its occupant in order to provide optimal ergonomic outcomes. Quantum-linked holoprojectors are located within each seat allowing those who have been unable to attend in person to be present in a virtual sense. They can also bring up data screens for attendees with a physical presence at the conference to utilise. The main presentation area at the front of the auditorium is dominated by the display screen that runs its entire width. A presenting podium along with seats for the academic chair and panellists to take advantage of are situated in front of the screen. On the walls at the edges of the stage holographic representations displaying the corporate iconography of the conference's corporate sponsors and speakers cycle through a regularly repeating pattern. There is a subtle security presence within the room including both human personnel and small drones. Although present with enough force and in appropriate positions to cover the room they seem adept at blending into the background and generally staying out of the way of the proceedings.

  158. [ 2015.02.28 19:30:29 ] Aria Jenneth > *applauds*
  159. [ 2015.02.28 19:30:30 ] Zenariae > /emote adds some quiet applause, she's a little out of sync with everything and quietly resumes listening.
  160. [ 2015.02.28 19:30:38 ] Khaprice > /emote applauds*
  161. [ 2015.02.28 19:30:44 ] ISD Lunaire Elois > /emote claps shortly before returning to fiddling and grumbling at her recording equipment
  162. [ 2015.02.28 19:30:54 ] Jaret Victorian > /emote taps his prosthetic arm and starts recording the voice
  163. [ 2015.02.28 19:30:55 ] Thal Vadam > /emote bows with Aero
  164. [ 2015.02.28 19:31:04 ] Lisa Ouyano > /emote pulls out her flask again and sips some more. >
  165. [ 2015.02.28 19:31:06 ] Frenjo Borkstar > /emote leans forward, stealing a few bonbons, before sitting back next to Jaret, offering him one.
  166. [ 2015.02.28 19:31:37 ] Reinheart Novan > /emote proceeds to the leturn, producing speaking notes from his robe and calling a slide on to the screen
  167. [ 2015.02.28 19:31:40 ] Reinheart Novan > http://goo.gl/mRzfyi
  168. [ 2015.02.28 19:31:42 ] Jaret Victorian > /emote takes the candy and smiles, feeling content that Frenjo's condition looks to be good
  169. [ 2015.02.28 19:31:43 ] Morwen Lagann > /emote waits for Reinheart to begin speaking, then activates the acoustic dampening systems.
  170. [ 2015.02.28 19:31:48 ] EVE System > Channel default access set to Moderated by Morwen Lagann. This channel is now effectively running in moderated mode.
  171. [ 2015.02.28 19:32:22 ] Reinheart Novan > Lords, Ladies and Gentlemen thank you for being here today, and thank you to the organisers for this honour
  172. [ 2015.02.28 19:33:47 ] Reinheart Novan > I will preface this presentation that this projecty is in the early stages but as events in the cluster are proceeding with such pace it seemed worth raising early.
  173. [ 2015.02.28 19:34:24 ] Reinheart Novan > /emote brings up the first slide
  174. [ 2015.02.28 19:34:59 ] Reinheart Novan > The back ground to this study was actually another study I was undertaking on the ruins of the Takmahl in the Aphi System in the Kador Region
  175. [ 2015.02.28 19:35:56 ] Reinheart Novan > There a site known as the Labyrinth features a number of spatial anomolies that form a maze of sorts which lead to a large temple
  176. [ 2015.02.28 19:36:54 ] Reinheart Novan > this Temple was the original source of my investigations but the spatial rift anomlies were intriguing as they appeared incongruous for the area
  177. [ 2015.02.28 19:37:48 ] Reinheart Novan > It was seeing the imagery coming out from the discovery and exploration of Thera and the shattered wormholes that raised questions about these and have brought about the project
  178. [ 2015.02.28 19:38:04 ] Reinheart Novan > /emote changes slides
  179. [ 2015.02.28 19:38:27 ] Reinheart Novan > A brief bit of background
  180. [ 2015.02.28 19:39:36 ] Reinheart Novan > The Takmahl were part of Amarr Society almost 2000 years ago, they were believed to have been part of the Sani-Sabik sect and fled to the Araz constellation
  181. [ 2015.02.28 19:40:41 ] Reinheart Novan > What happend to them both there and after is the subject of many other research projects but what is known was that they became masters of cybernetics and bio-engineering
  182. [ 2015.02.28 19:41:15 ] Reinheart Novan > However, there is no evidence of the technology required for the rifts in any evidence yet found
  183. [ 2015.02.28 19:41:27 ] Reinheart Novan > /emote changes slide
  184. [ 2015.02.28 19:41:50 ] Reinheart Novan > The Talocan are probably better known amongst this community
  185. [ 2015.02.28 19:41:52 ] Reinheart Novan > /emote smiles
  186. [ 2015.02.28 19:43:01 ] Reinheart Novan > They were one of the most ancient races we are aware of, and prior to the Seyllin Incident our knowledge was restricted to a site in Caldari space
  187. [ 2015.02.28 19:43:53 ] Reinheart Novan > They were known though as being highly advanced in the type of technology and understanding needed for these type of features
  188. [ 2015.02.28 19:44:21 ] Reinheart Novan > /emote brings up a slide showing the extent of a labyrinth arrangement
  189. [ 2015.02.28 19:44:52 ] Reinheart Novan > To get into the detail now, this is this type of arrangment these rifts are found in at the Labyrinth
  190. [ 2015.02.28 19:46:07 ] Reinheart Novan > They form a circle and each rift gate leads to a seperate location. They have a differing range of functionality
  191. [ 2015.02.28 19:46:36 ] Reinheart Novan > some work in both directions and take large battleship mass ships through to some do not appear to function at all
  192. [ 2015.02.28 19:46:49 ] Reinheart Novan > /emote brings up a slide of a single rift
  193. [ 2015.02.28 19:47:30 ] Reinheart Novan > The individual gates are highly luminous and appeard enveloped by a gaseous distortion, and this is one aspect which I am investigating
  194. [ 2015.02.28 19:49:29 ] Reinheart Novan > When operated they do send ships to another gate arrangement over 17000 kilometers away each time. There are a number of these arrangements at least 9 we aware of but possible more behind the non-functional gates
  195. [ 2015.02.28 19:50:12 ] Reinheart Novan > Now to compare these with the Talocan sites, and these are all images from Thera
  196. [ 2015.02.28 19:50:34 ] Reinheart Novan > I should point out that the Thera gates are the only ones I have been able to observe at this time
  197. [ 2015.02.28 19:51:06 ] Reinheart Novan > These consist of a large structure seemingly made up of seperate sub units
  198. [ 2015.02.28 19:51:43 ] Reinheart Novan > above them is a spatial rift but these rifts are emenating a high levels of dangerous radiation in several bands
  199. [ 2015.02.28 19:52:11 ] Reinheart Novan > These gates do not currently appear to accept ships
  200. [ 2015.02.28 19:53:06 ] Reinheart Novan > It can be posited that this may be a function of the structure as a control unit prevent access due to dangerous levels of radiation or possibly that this radiation is blocking the and distablising the gate
  201. [ 2015.02.28 19:53:49 ] Reinheart Novan > As an aside I have wondered about the events of Carline Star and the radiation being detected but that is just supposition
  202. [ 2015.02.28 19:54:13 ] Reinheart Novan > /emote brings up the next slide
  203. [ 2015.02.28 19:54:34 ] Reinheart Novan > So to see the two spatial rifts side by side clearly shows visual similarities
  204. [ 2015.02.28 19:55:39 ] Reinheart Novan > In the research taken to date they appear highly similar in the visible spectral bands they emit, are almost identical in size and feature the same gaseous distortions
  205. [ 2015.02.28 19:56:29 ] Reinheart Novan > Given the rarity of these types of object and yet the smiliarities I find this highly likley to indicate a correlation in origin
  206. [ 2015.02.28 19:56:45 ] Reinheart Novan > /emote goes to the next slide
  207. [ 2015.02.28 19:57:00 ] Reinheart Novan > But the big difference is the Talocan structures
  208. [ 2015.02.28 19:58:06 ] Reinheart Novan > They are present at the their sites but not in the labyrinth, and will also mention there does not appear to be aby debris in the labyrinth that could be attributed to the Talocan, that I have found to date I will qualify
  209. [ 2015.02.28 19:58:48 ] Reinheart Novan > As the Labyrinth is operating and has been for a long period implies, if the rifts are linked, that they do not serve to maintain the stability of the rift
  210. [ 2015.02.28 19:59:27 ] Reinheart Novan > This may imply a control or possibly an option for directional control that was not needed at this site
  211. [ 2015.02.28 20:00:18 ] Reinheart Novan > Maybe it is this control structure that is locking down the Threa features, but this all requires future work
  212. [ 2015.02.28 20:00:39 ] Reinheart Novan > So to go down to tacks
  213. [ 2015.02.28 20:01:28 ] Reinheart Novan > We have a high simialrity of features but a race whcih is capable of constructing them, and with what's coming from W-space maybe even more
  214. [ 2015.02.28 20:02:13 ] Reinheart Novan > Plus we have a race which was essentially criminals fleeing known society where the technology was just coming to grips with jump gates
  215. [ 2015.02.28 20:02:56 ] Reinheart Novan > It seems hard to reconcile that a civilisation would be able to make such high advances in fields both biological and physics yet disappear
  216. [ 2015.02.28 20:03:20 ] Reinheart Novan > So did the Takmahl find an exisiting site and turn it to their use or was a third party invovled
  217. [ 2015.02.28 20:03:38 ] Reinheart Novan > There is one more correlation to look at seperate to the gates though
  218. [ 2015.02.28 20:03:55 ] Reinheart Novan > /emote brings up the last side of two asteroids
  219. [ 2015.02.28 20:05:04 ] Reinheart Novan > at both the devils dig site in Otitoh and ithe centre of the Labyrinth is a large asteroid hollwed out to form a structure, both have defaulted to a Templpe designation by Aura. This may raise more questions!
  220. [ 2015.02.28 20:05:14 ] Reinheart Novan > So to finish up
  221. [ 2015.02.28 20:05:38 ] Reinheart Novan > I intend to further inc=vestigate the physics behind these rifts both in the shttered wormholes and Aphi
  222. [ 2015.02.28 20:06:10 ] Reinheart Novan > and there is wide scope for further work into both the Kspace sites for possible anthropological linkages
  223. [ 2015.02.28 20:06:46 ] Reinheart Novan > I hope this has raised questions in your minds and look forward to seeing more work being done in this area by attendees of this weekends conference.
  224. [ 2015.02.28 20:06:51 ] Reinheart Novan > Thank you
  225. [ 2015.02.28 20:06:59 ] Reinheart Novan > /emote stands back and looks to Jennifer
  226. [ 2015.02.28 20:08:04 ] Jennifer Starfall > /emote moves back to the podium and smiles to Reinheart.
  227. [ 2015.02.28 20:08:34 ] Jennifer Starfall > Thank you, Mr. Novan.
  228. [ 2015.02.28 20:09:09 ] Reinheart Novan > /emote bows his head briefly
  229. [ 2015.02.28 20:09:13 ] Jennifer Starfall > We have time for a couple of questions.
  230. [ 2015.02.28 20:09:31 ] Morwen Lagann > /emote quietly disables the acoustic dampening system.
  231. [ 2015.02.28 20:09:34 ] EVE System > Channel default access set to Allowed by Morwen Lagann. This channel will now only reject people on the blocked list.
  232. [ 2015.02.28 20:09:37 ] Khaprice > /emote begins clapping
  233. [ 2015.02.28 20:09:42 ] Caroline Grace > /emote claps loudly
  234. [ 2015.02.28 20:09:53 ] Ninavask > /emote claps politely at the presentation.*
  235. [ 2015.02.28 20:09:53 ] Justine Volontaire > /emote finishes taking notes and then applauds
  236. [ 2015.02.28 20:09:54 ] Frenjo Borkstar > /emote stands up, and claps, very loudly as usual.
  237. [ 2015.02.28 20:10:00 ] Jandice Ymladris > /emote applauds at the great presentation given > Marvellous!
  238. [ 2015.02.28 20:10:03 ] Jennifer Starfall > Dr. Valerie Valate, you had the first question.
  239. [ 2015.02.28 20:10:04 ] Jaret Victorian > /emote starts clapping
  240. [ 2015.02.28 20:10:06 ] Lisa Ouyano > /emote applauds gently after the presentation then raises her left hand softly. >
  241. [ 2015.02.28 20:10:09 ] Aria Jenneth > /emote joins in again
  242. [ 2015.02.28 20:10:14 ] Caroline Grace > /emote claps 10% more loudly than Frenjo
  243. [ 2015.02.28 20:10:16 ] bill haton > * Clapping intensifies
  244. [ 2015.02.28 20:10:21 ] Haria Haritimado > /emote claps. > Very interesting. Well prepared.
  245. [ 2015.02.28 20:10:29 ] Valerie Valate > /emote stands up, and waits for the clapping to subside.
  246. [ 2015.02.28 20:10:31 ] Lyn Farel > /emote claps timdily.
  247. [ 2015.02.28 20:10:31 ] Frenjo Borkstar > /emote claps louder than Caroline.
  248. [ 2015.02.28 20:10:51 ] Jennifer Starfall > /emote motions for quiet.
  249. [ 2015.02.28 20:11:23 ] Reinheart Novan > /emote steps forward looking to Dr Valate
  250. [ 2015.02.28 20:11:54 ] Valerie Valate > Dr. Valate, Director of the Kaztropolis Imperial Archaeological Institute. First, let me say, how gratifiying it is, to see that my own brilliant research into the Labyrinth has inspired other scholars such as Mr. Novan, who I have communicated with,
  251. [ 2015.02.28 20:12:00 ] Valerie Valate > in the course of his own research.
  252. [ 2015.02.28 20:12:12 ] Lisa Ouyano > /emote lowers her hand long enough for it to find her flask and bring it to her lips. >
  253. [ 2015.02.28 20:12:23 ] Frenjo Borkstar > /emote sits down.
  254. [ 2015.02.28 20:12:26 ] Valerie Valate > Well done, Mr. Novan.
  255. [ 2015.02.28 20:12:55 ] Valerie Valate > Secondly, You mentioned the curious nature of the Labyrinth gateways
  256. [ 2015.02.28 20:13:37 ] Valerie Valate > Have any other systems of navigation involving spatial rifts, ever been observed, to have had a ring of portals, in the same way that the Labyrinth does ?
  257. [ 2015.02.28 20:14:28 ] Reinheart Novan > /emote bows his head briefly "Indeed thank you to Dr Valate, and the other members of Project Theseus, I ride your coat tails today."
  258. [ 2015.02.28 20:14:46 ] Reinheart Novan > But that is an interesting point.
  259. [ 2015.02.28 20:15:07 ] Valerie Valate > I have a thought, about the recent discoveries elsewhere in the cluster, and how they may explain things.
  260. [ 2015.02.28 20:15:40 ] Valerie Valate > we know the Takmahl were active between 1500 and 2000 years ago. The Talocan and others were active much earlier.
  261. [ 2015.02.28 20:15:45 ] Reinheart Novan > To the best of what I have been able to find in the literature this appears to be the only such arrangement, there are arrangements being found in the shattered wornholes but nothing like in Aphi
  262. [ 2015.02.28 20:16:05 ] Valerie Valate > The recent discovery of sleeper data caches provides a suggestion.
  263. [ 2015.02.28 20:16:13 ] Eran Mintor > /emote logs into an empty seat's holo-projector and begins recording.
  264. [ 2015.02.28 20:17:04 ] Jennifer Starfall > /emote clears her throat.
  265. [ 2015.02.28 20:17:05 ] Valerie Valate > Any similarity in spatial rift design, may be because the Takmahl uncovered a Sleeper data cache, containing Talocan spatial rift data. Which would mean the Sleepers were active, in Araz, before we became aware of such cloaked data caches.
  266. [ 2015.02.28 20:17:36 ] Valerie Valate > And it's possible that the fall of the Takmahl civilisation, was due to Sleeper intervention. Which would be a cause for concern.
  267. [ 2015.02.28 20:17:40 ] Reinheart Novan > /emote tilts his head "that is an interesting point maybe we can discuss further in the break?"
  268. [ 2015.02.28 20:17:48 ] Valerie Valate > Indeed.
  269. [ 2015.02.28 20:17:54 ] Jennifer Starfall > /emote smiles.
  270. [ 2015.02.28 20:17:57 ] Reinheart Novan > /emote looks to Ms Starfall
  271. [ 2015.02.28 20:17:58 ] Valerie Valate > Congratulations on your presentation.
  272. [ 2015.02.28 20:18:05 ] Valerie Valate > /emote applauds loudly and then sits down.
  273. [ 2015.02.28 20:18:07 ] Lisa Ouyano > Hm.
  274. [ 2015.02.28 20:18:35 ] Jennifer Starfall > We're running a little behind. So, if we could keep the questions brief, we'd appreciate it.
  275. [ 2015.02.28 20:19:06 ] Lisa Ouyano > /emote keeps her hand lowered, leaving the question pool. >
  276. [ 2015.02.28 20:19:17 ] Reinheart Novan > /emote smiles "my Apologies, I do tend to go on at times"
  277. [ 2015.02.28 20:19:30 ] Jennifer Starfall > It's okay. It was a well put together presentation.
  278. [ 2015.02.28 20:19:40 ] Jennifer Starfall > Dr. Borkstar? You had a brief question?
  279. [ 2015.02.28 20:19:49 ] Frenjo Borkstar > /emote stands up, "Yes, I did, indeed."
  280. [ 2015.02.28 20:20:23 ] Frenjo Borkstar > I more wanted to suggest that, since the Takmahl were an 'offshoot' of the Amarr Empire, should they actually be considered an ancient race? They are technically a sub-branch of the empire.
  281. [ 2015.02.28 20:20:37 ] Frenjo Borkstar > And, I believe...
  282. [ 2015.02.28 20:20:51 ] Frenjo Borkstar > That the current technology the Amarr use is based on that cybernetic technology.
  283. [ 2015.02.28 20:21:03 ] Jennifer Starfall > Your questions, Dr. Borkstar?
  284. [ 2015.02.28 20:21:44 ] Aldrith Shutaq > /emote connects to one of the seat holoprojectors, his gaze sweeping over the attending crowd.
  285. [ 2015.02.28 20:22:06 ] Frenjo Borkstar > Oh, yes... Uh... Do we actually have any evidence to suggest that the Takmahl were Sani-Sabik who were exiled? I thought that was just the common theory.
  286. [ 2015.02.28 20:22:17 ] Frenjo Borkstar > Not that we actually had any evidence to prove it.
  287. [ 2015.02.28 20:22:43 ] Valerie Valate > /emote raises eyebrow.
  288. [ 2015.02.28 20:22:49 ] Kithrus > /emote frowns
  289. [ 2015.02.28 20:23:14 ] Angel T Hunter > /emote tryes her best ot to look stupid
  290. [ 2015.02.28 20:23:28 ] Reinheart Novan > /emote speaks rapidlThe first part is the old splitter or grouper question and beyond my field I'm afraid. There is evidence in the remians of Takmahl sites that the Theology Counicl has used to state that. I belive there was another person with a quest...
  291. [ 2015.02.28 20:23:37 ] Lisa Ouyano > /emote takes another sip from her flask and shakes her head regretfully as Borkstar speaks. >
  292. [ 2015.02.28 20:24:01 ] Jandice Ymladris > /emote facepalms at Frenjo
  293. [ 2015.02.28 20:24:01 ] Frenjo Borkstar > Again, the Theology Council, who have been known to- I won't say anymore, thank you.
  294. [ 2015.02.28 20:24:07 ] Jennifer Starfall > /emote nods. "Thank you, Dr. Borkstar."
  295. [ 2015.02.28 20:24:07 ] Frenjo Borkstar > /emote sits back down.
  296. [ 2015.02.28 20:24:13 ] Khaprice > Hi! Nothing critical here I'm afraid, but short at least! Could we maybe get the slides numbered when you change them? I'm not sure I was the only one who lost my place.
  297. [ 2015.02.28 20:24:33 ] Jennifer Starfall > /emote chuckles.
  298. [ 2015.02.28 20:24:38 ] Caroline Grace > /emote yells "YES!" to support Khaprice
  299. [ 2015.02.28 20:25:15 ] Reinheart Novan > My apologies, I shall be sure to do that.
  300. [ 2015.02.28 20:25:20 ] Jennifer Starfall > I would take that as a vote that you have a career future presenting, Mr. Novan.
  301. [ 2015.02.28 20:25:28 ] Jennifer Starfall > Ms. Ouyano. You're our last question.
  302. [ 2015.02.28 20:25:32 ] Khaprice > /emote smiles meekly > Sorry!
  303. [ 2015.02.28 20:25:40 ] Reinheart Novan > /emote chuckles and blushes slightly
  304. [ 2015.02.28 20:26:20 ] Jennifer Starfall > Ms. Ouyano? You had a question?
  305. [ 2015.02.28 20:26:26 ] Lisa Ouyano > Yes. <She rises and offers a quick bow> Yes sorry.
  306. [ 2015.02.28 20:26:44 ] Reinheart Novan > /emote looks at Lisa, smiling
  307. [ 2015.02.28 20:28:05 ] Lisa Ouyano > You mentioned criminals had found these.... gates? In Anoiksis? Are you saying that the Takmahl had obtained technology to travel freely into Anoiksis? Or did I misunderstand?
  308. [ 2015.02.28 20:29:11 ] Reinheart Novan > I'm afraid I can't have explained that well. I have wondered if the Aphi gates had been built in K space in atiquity and were then found by the Takmahl
  309. [ 2015.02.28 20:29:31 ] Reinheart Novan > So not Anoikis but normal space
  310. [ 2015.02.28 20:30:04 ] Lisa Ouyano > /emote bows again. > Okay thank you very much for your presentation and taking my question Mister Novan.

  312. [ 2015.02.28 20:30:16 ] Reinheart Novan > /emote looks to exit and then to Ms Starfall
  313. [ 2015.02.28 20:31:21 ] Jennifer Starfall > Thank you, Mr. Novan.
  314. [ 2015.02.28 20:31:40 ] Reinheart Novan > /emote smiles and does a quick bow before exiting the stage
  315. [ 2015.02.28 20:31:54 ] Jennifer Starfall > /emote moves back to the podium.
  316. [ 2015.02.28 20:32:26 ] Morwen Lagann > /emote quietly watches Jen, her hand still over the tiny datapad on her lap.
  317. [ 2015.02.28 20:32:45 ] Justine Volontaire > /emote silently gets up and moves towards the exit, obviously getting a call on her datapad.
  318. [ 2015.02.28 20:33:08 ] Caroline Grace > /emote opens up another candy and scratches her nose
  319. [ 2015.02.28 20:33:10 ] Jennifer Starfall > And now for a primer on Wormhole Physics, Saede Riordan.
  320. [ 2015.02.28 20:33:23 ] Frenjo Borkstar > /emote quickly rushes out of the auditorium, apparently wretching to be sick.
  321. [ 2015.02.28 20:33:39 ] Halcyon Ember > /emote sits up attentatively
  322. [ 2015.02.28 20:33:43 ] Saede Riordan > /emote steps up from the back, strolling up to the front and hopping onto the stage.
  323. [ 2015.02.28 20:33:44 ] Jaret Victorian > /emote stares at Borkstar as he runs

  326. [ 2015.02.28 20:34:05 ] Haria Haritimado > /emote shakes head at Frenjo and exchanges some glances with Jaret.
  327. [ 2015.02.28 20:34:10 ] Kithrus > /emote chuckles to himself
  328. [ 2015.02.28 20:34:38 ] Aldrith Shutaq > /emote crosses his arms and Morwen for a moment before turning his attention to the podium, waiting for the next speaker.
  329. [ 2015.02.28 20:34:47 ] Jaret Victorian > /emote looks at Haria and suddenly realises something, then shrugs and sits back
  330. [ 2015.02.28 20:35:08 ] Thal Vadam > /emote stands by Kithrus with Aero
  331. [ 2015.02.28 20:35:11 ] Khaprice > /emote pulls a mint out of her pocket, pops it into her mouth and leans forwards.

  333. [ 2015.02.28 20:35:17 ] Morwen Lagann > /emote isn't paying attention to anything at the moment except waiting for Saede to begin so she can turn the acoustic dampeners back on.
  334. [ 2015.02.28 20:35:22 ] Ninavask > /emote watches Saede take the stage with a curious expression. Smiling as he remains quiet.*
  335. [ 2015.02.28 20:35:29 ] Caroline Grace > /emote steals the mint out of Khaprice mouth and puts it into hers
  336. [ 2015.02.28 20:35:34 ] Saede Riordan > "Wow, quite the audience we've got today." She steps behind the podium and taps the microphone, "Okay, I say wormholes you say praise Bob. Wormholes!"

  345. [ 2015.02.28 20:36:43 ] Khaprice > /emote gets another mint for herself then claps
  346. [ 2015.02.28 20:36:44 ] Haria Haritimado > /emote is taken by surprise, blinking at Saede.
  347. [ 2015.02.28 20:36:45 ] Ninavask > /emote starts laughing.*

  349. [ 2015.02.28 20:37:08 ] Thal Vadam > /emote remains quiet with Aero
  350. [ 2015.02.28 20:37:11 ] Saede Riordan > /emote chuckles from her place behind the podium. "Okay, tough crowd." She cracks her knuckles, "Alright, wormhole physics 101. This is going to be really basic, cover the things about wormholes that aren't mysteries, just get everyone up to speed."
  351. [ 2015.02.28 20:37:13 ] Caroline Grace > /emote writes BOB on her giant sign and waves it around
  352. [ 2015.02.28 20:37:19 ] EVE System > Channel default access set to Moderated by Morwen Lagann. This channel is now effectively running in moderated mode.
  353. [ 2015.02.28 20:38:17 ] Saede Riordan > "So to start with? What is a wormhole? Well, its a hole, but instead of being a hole in three dimensional space, its a hole in four dimensional space."
  354. [ 2015.02.28 20:39:44 ] Saede Riordan > /emote activates the display, but doesn't bring up any slides, instead just drawing simple shapes with an electronic pen, "So a normal hole through a three dimensional object is a circle that extends through the object, a cylinder."
  355. [ 2015.02.28 20:40:30 ] Saede Riordan > "To understand a wormhole, just just extrapolate that upwards. Since the two dimensional surface of a hole is a circle, what is the three dimensional surface of a four dimensional hole?"
  356. [ 2015.02.28 20:41:15 ] Saede Riordan > "Its a sphere." She displays an image of a wormhole in space.
  357. [ 2015.02.28 20:42:47 ] Ollie Rundle > ** Vidscreen display: http://i.imgur.com/wYLQLRY.jpg **
  358. [ 2015.02.28 20:43:46 ] Saede Riordan > "Just like a hole through an object is not zero length, a wormhole cannot be zero length either. However, this area, known as the bulk, is where most of the interesting things are happening."
  359. [ 2015.02.28 20:44:58 ] Saede Riordan > "When a ship transits the event horizon of a wormhole, that is the 'surface' you see in the image above, their ship imediately emerges through the other side, without any passage of time for the crew."
  360. [ 2015.02.28 20:45:48 ] Saede Riordan > "However, the bulk still has to be crossed, even if its technical width is less then that of a proton, and its in this pocket that we believe the negative mass energy materials required to keep a wormhole stable are held."
  361. [ 2015.02.28 20:46:40 ] Saede Riordan > "We don't know what exactly the negative mass energy is in this case, though there are plenty of theories and we'll talk more about some of them later. What's important to note is that its not perfectly stable."
  362. [ 2015.02.28 20:47:44 ] Saede Riordan > "When this region of negative mass energy material reaches a state of criticality, it collapses into a wormhole. However this arrangement is inherently unstable and it will decay over time back into the ambient virtual particle field."
  363. [ 2015.02.28 20:48:37 ] Saede Riordan > "This causes wormholes to be temporary. Although some stablization methods are clearly possible, we are not yet able to access the negative mass energy material inside the wormhole in order to stablize it. We can however, interact with it to a degree."
  364. [ 2015.02.28 20:50:05 ] Saede Riordan > "When a ship passes through a wormhole, the higgs field of its normal mass particles interacts with the anti-higgs field of the negative mass particles, causing them to be scattered. This scattering effect causes quantifiable instabilities."
  365. [ 2015.02.28 20:50:44 ] Saede Riordan > "When this happens a lot, the wormhole will collapse as there isn't enough coherence in the anti-higgs field to resist the local spacetime forces and the connection snaps shut." She snaps her fingers for effect.
  366. [ 2015.02.28 20:51:33 ] Saede Riordan > "This is especially important because getting trapped by a collapsed wormhole does not make for a fun day."
  367. [ 2015.02.28 20:52:10 ] Saede Riordan > "The other important factor regarding wormholes is what we refer to as polarization."
  368. [ 2015.02.28 20:54:00 ] Saede Riordan > "Lets focus on the event horizon of the wormhole for a moment. There are technically two event horizons associated with each side of the wormhole."
  369. [ 2015.02.28 20:55:07 ] Saede Riordan > "When you pass through an event horizon, the matter of your ship goes through a polarizing phase shift as it crosses the bulk. This is especially important because it effects the operation of the warp drive."
  370. [ 2015.02.28 20:56:20 ] Saede Riordan > "The warp drive then picks up the specific polarity and magnetic resonance of that side of the event horizon. Going back through the other way creates a harmonic, the warp drive can have multiple harmonic polarities overlapping."
  371. [ 2015.02.28 20:57:21 ] Saede Riordan > "Now, if you were to try and go back through the wormhole in the same direction you originally traveled, you will find you are unable. Because of the polarity of the event horizon, your ship is incapable of interacting with it."
  372. [ 2015.02.28 20:57:46 ] Saede Riordan > "Instead of flying through and coming out the other side, you fly through and emerge on the same side, your matter not having interacted with the bulk at all."
  373. [ 2015.02.28 20:58:28 ] N'maro Makari > /emote quietly enters and takes a seat
  374. [ 2015.02.28 20:58:44 ] Saede Riordan > "Polarization is extremely important, and forgetting polarization will cost you your life, trapping you on one side of a wormhole inside of a hostile fleet's bubble."
  375. [ 2015.02.28 20:59:00 ] Jennifer Starfall > /emote stands up and slips quietly out of the auditorium.
  376. [ 2015.02.28 21:00:23 ] Saede Riordan > "These are the basics to understanding how to safely interact with wormholes. Keep track of mass with regards for the original stability of the hole, don't polarize yourself, wait out your polarity before jumping again."
  377. [ 2015.02.28 21:01:39 ] Saede Riordan > "If you use your head, wormholes can be safer then gate travel. You can see straight through them so there's no where for you to get lost in transit. Wormholes seem poised to play an important role in our development, so understanding them is crucial."
  378. [ 2015.02.28 21:01:47 ] Saede Riordan > "I'll take your questions now."
  379. [ 2015.02.28 21:02:52 ] EVE System > Channel default access set to Allowed by Morwen Lagann. This channel will now only reject people on the blocked list.
  380. [ 2015.02.28 21:03:00 ] Angel T Hunter > I have a question
  381. [ 2015.02.28 21:03:20 ] Saede Riordan > /emote points to Angel T Hunter, "Hit me with it."
  382. [ 2015.02.28 21:03:52 ] Angel T Hunter > How is wormholes safer? I realy dont get it..
  383. [ 2015.02.28 21:05:03 ] Saede Riordan > "Well thats getting into a bit murky territory, but stargates have some oddities that can occasionally cause ships to vanish and never be seen again. But that could be a whole panel in itself so I won't go too deep into it."
  384. [ 2015.02.28 21:05:40 ] Angel T Hunter > I see, thank you..
  385. [ 2015.02.28 21:06:31 ] Saede Riordan > "Alright whose next, Frenjo? Are you still here?"
  386. [ 2015.02.28 21:06:54 ] Frenjo Borkstar > /emote is curently in the bathroom upchucking the contents of his stomach.
  387. [ 2015.02.28 21:07:00 ] Haria Haritimado > Em, Mr. Borkstar left in haste.
  388. [ 2015.02.28 21:07:11 ] Saede Riordan > "Hmm, guess not. Okay, who else had questions?"
  389. [ 2015.02.28 21:07:29 ] Lisa Ouyano > /emote raises her hand politely. >
  390. [ 2015.02.28 21:07:33 ] True Adamance > "I fear he is somewhat indisposed."
  391. [ 2015.02.28 21:07:44 ] Saede Riordan > /emote points to Lisa.
  392. [ 2015.02.28 21:08:10 ] Lisa Ouyano > /emote rises and bows politely. > Thank you for the informative presentation Miss Riordan. Polarization. How long does it last, and is there any known way to avoid it?
  393. [ 2015.02.28 21:08:13 ] Jukko Riis > /emote slips in quietly and takes a seat in the back
  394. [ 2015.02.28 21:08:46 ] N'maro Makari > /emote cautiously moves to the side of the stage, keeping an eye on the qued questions.
  395. [ 2015.02.28 21:09:09 ] Saede Riordan > "Polarization takes five minutes to wear off, regardless of the ship. You can avoid it by not making a wormhole transit through the same wormhole within five minutes of your last one."
  396. [ 2015.02.28 21:10:00 ] Saede Riordan > "There is no way currently to say 'fuck the polarization' and cross the same event horizon repeatedly within that five minute span. Even if you were to go in a circle and come back to the hole from the same side, so you never crossed back."
  397. [ 2015.02.28 21:10:23 ] Saede Riordan > "You will still be polarized on that side until the five minutes are elapsed for the warp coils to rebalance.
  398. [ 2015.02.28 21:10:45 ] Lisa Ouyano > Interesting, thank you. <She bows again.> Another question, what is the anti-higgs field?
  399. [ 2015.02.28 21:11:44 ] Saede Riordan > "A higgs field with negative energy values created by particles with negative mass energy,"
  400. [ 2015.02.28 21:12:10 ] Lisa Ouyano > Does this only exist within the event horizon of a wormhole?
  401. [ 2015.02.28 21:13:06 ] Saede Riordan > "It can be created for miliseconds in laboratory conditions, but aside from that, yes wormholes are the only places you can find it in space thus far."
  402. [ 2015.02.28 21:13:09 ] Ollie Rundle > /emote moves from the back of the room to stand beside N'maro, checking a sub-dermal display on his left wrist as he does so.
  403. [ 2015.02.28 21:13:13 ] N'maro Makari > /emote speaks via the intercom "Ladies and gentlemen, just a brief reminder, we have many who have queries so please keep them in mind and limit to one question. Thank you. We will have one more question then break for 15 minutes."
  404. [ 2015.02.28 21:13:29 ] Saede Riordan > "Lets go to the next person, thank you Lisa."
  405. [ 2015.02.28 21:13:34 ] Lisa Ouyano > /emote bows again. > Thank you for answering my questions Miss Riordan.
  406. [ 2015.02.28 21:13:35 ] Lisa Ouyano > /emote sits
  407. [ 2015.02.28 21:13:38 ] N'maro Makari > /emote checks the list " I believe we have Eran Minto next"
  408. [ 2015.02.28 21:13:42 ] Eran Mintor > /emote virtually raises his right hand as if to ask a question. His holo seems to be having some interference and is flickering in and out.
  409. [ 2015.02.28 21:14:00 ] Saede Riordan > /emote points to Eran, "Yes, what is your question?"
  410. [ 2015.02.28 21:14:18 ] Eran Mintor > It has been noted on numerous occassions by different indidividuals that some wormholes on the verge of collapse are replaced by a new wormhole in the same exact location as the previous one.
  411. [ 2015.02.28 21:14:28 ] Eran Mintor > Sometimes, though not always, the Signature-ID's are even identical. Is there any insight you can offer on this phenomenon?
  412. [ 2015.02.28 21:16:06 ] Saede Riordan > "Some, but its still something of a mystery. The running theory we have is that when a wormhole goes EOL, it begins bleeding negative mass energy particles into space around it. These particles are virtual and cannot be detected."
  413. [ 2015.02.28 21:16:53 ] Lisa Ouyano > /emote takes a sip from her flask as Saede fields Eran's question. >
  414. [ 2015.02.28 21:17:01 ] Saede Riordan > "But the theory is that areas where wormholes form are inundated with them, and you could map a gradient to indicate the particle density. It takes a certain density of these particles to form a wormhole."
  415. [ 2015.02.28 21:17:48 ] Saede Riordan > "So a dying wormhole spewing out tons of them essentially seeds the creation of its own successor wormhole. This is a hypothesis though, we're not entirely sure why it happens sometimes and not others."
  416. [ 2015.02.28 21:18:14 ] Eran Mintor > Thank you for the answer and presentation.
  417. [ 2015.02.28 21:18:35 ] N'maro Makari > /emote speaks via the intercom "Thank you for your questions and a special thanks to Saede Riordan, Coordinator of Alexylva Paradox. The conference will now break for 15 minutes,"
  418. [ 2015.02.28 21:18:46 ] Reinheart Novan > /emote claps
  419. [ 2015.02.28 21:18:47 ] Caroline Grace > /emote 's neocom plays very loudly with deep trailer voice AGE OF JOVIANS BEGINS PLAYER, CHOOSE YOUR STORY
  420. [ 2015.02.28 21:18:55 ] Khaprice > /emote applauds
  421. [ 2015.02.28 21:19:02 ] Angel T Hunter > /emote applauds

  423. [ 2015.02.28 21:19:13 ] Jandice Ymladris > /emote facepalms at the disruption
  424. [ 2015.02.28 21:19:15 ] Saede Riordan > /emote gives a bow, then before hopping off the stage suddenly shouts into the mic "Wormholes!"
  425. [ 2015.02.28 21:19:29 ] Jasmin Soulscream > /emote claps politely
  426. [ 2015.02.28 21:19:29 ] Reinheart Novan > /emote jumps and looks over at Caroline
  427. [ 2015.02.28 21:19:35 ] Caroline Grace > /emote whispers around * I'm sorry, I'm sorry!

  439. [ 2015.02.28 21:20:53 ] Morwen Lagann > /emote coughs a little, then her voice comes over the PA system shakily. "We will be taking a f-fifteen minute break. Refreshments can be found outside in the e-exhibition floor. The next panel will begin at around twenty-one f-forty."
  440. [ 2015.02.28 21:20:55 ] Jandice Ymladris > /emote applauds for Saede's excellent informative stage
  441. [ 2015.02.28 21:20:56 ] Zenariae > /emote is taking notes on a datapad, which she drops frequently. She remains quiet but attentive and applauds at appropriate intervals.
  442. [ 2015.02.28 21:21:14 ] Caroline Grace > /emote stands up scratching up her limbs
  443. [ 2015.02.28 21:21:35 ] Reinheart Novan > /emote moves out to the exhibition floor looking at a handwritten note

  448. [ 2015.02.28 21:22:13 ] Morwen Lagann > /emote slips the small datapad back into her pocket, then leans forward a little in her seat, folding her arms across her legs in silence.
  449. [ 2015.02.28 21:22:29 ] Haria Haritimado > /emote tries to catch up with Saede as she leaves.
  450. [ 2015.02.28 21:22:54 ] Ollie Rundle > /emote leans towards N'maro's ear, whispering something into it as the crowd files out into the exhibition hall for the brief interval.
  451. [ 2015.02.28 21:23:06 ] Haria Haritimado > Ms. Riordan, em... Saede. You have a second?

  552. [ 2015.02.28 21:46:57 ] Kithrus > To go over the basics briefly you know of wormholes everwhere both man made, stargates, and more natural, the wormholes doting new eden

  562. [ 2015.02.28 21:58:03 ] Kithrus > I asert that I find it logically and scientifically impossible that the wormholes are natural. Not to assert for a second that those who died her were in vain but were infact murdered.
  563. [ 2015.02.28 21:58:21 ] Kithrus > But not for murder but to creat the wormholes

  565. [ 2015.02.28 21:59:13 ] Kithrus > But back to the point at hand
  566. [ 2015.02.28 21:59:50 ] Kithrus > In order to create a wormhole as we know two points in scpace need to connect. There needs to be something to lock onto

  571. [ 2015.02.28 22:03:34 ] Kithrus > Years past, we accepted it, honestly nothing happened. Yes the super nova here moved us to tears I was living in federation space at the time in Villore. I came her to help I remember.

  578. [ 2015.02.28 22:08:23 ] Kithrus > Some of you have heard of Thera, the SoE experiment. A massive systemsome 350 au across. Takes about 5 minutes to warp across depending what your flying.
  579. [ 2015.02.28 22:09:00 ] Kithrus > But its star is exactly the same at the star here in the system your currently sitting

  581. [ 2015.02.28 22:10:21 ] Kithrus > The image there shows you sleeper and talocan wrecks orbiting the star and oddly enough some of that equiptment is generating wormholes
  582. [ 2015.02.28 22:11:17 ] Kithrus > probally don't lead anywhere nice if at all but all context comes into focus
  583. [ 2015.02.28 22:13:01 ] Kithrus > from many visits and scans of this place I've found sleepers and Sansha forces at difeerant times. I have no current imagins of sansha as the one time I witnessed them there I was underfire and taking good images... well. Combat does not for good

  609. [ 2015.02.28 22:20:37 ] Kithrus > or.... not
  610. [ 2015.02.28 22:20:45 ] Jukko Riis > /emote stands, "Thank you. You said that the explosion of the star gave full power to make the wormholes possible. What makes you think that's all the power and what if there were more power added to the process?
  611. [ 2015.02.28 22:20:46 ] Kithrus > Ms Hunter?
  612. [ 2015.02.28 22:20:51 ] Kithrus > sorry
  613. [ 2015.02.28 22:21:58 ] Kithrus > I have reason to believe the first wormholes were a phase, a stage set for the rest of Anokis to open.
  614. [ 2015.02.28 22:22:24 ] Angel T Hunter > Mr. Kithrus it is possible to make a wormhole stable?
  615. [ 2015.02.28 22:22:55 ] Kithrus > I would argue yes since the difters seem to have their own. You've seen them?
  616. [ 2015.02.28 22:23:22 ] Angel T Hunter > No, I have not.. but are they stable?

  623. [ 2015.02.28 22:24:06 ] Kithrus > /emote smiles
  624. [ 2015.02.28 22:24:28 ] Lyn Farel > /emote hesitantly stands up and glances nervously around. "What are... your current theories on a hypothetic relation between Sleepers and Talocans ? I mean... if you have any ?"
  625. [ 2015.02.28 22:24:33 ] Zero Vigilant > /emote lowers it because he misheard the man
  626. [ 2015.02.28 22:24:54 ] Kithrus > /emote thinks a moment
  627. [ 2015.02.28 22:26:34 ] Kithrus > I don't have a solid answer for you. I feel like the sleepers are a capsulleer of a differant stripe. Instead of being in the ship they pilot from massive hubs. I thing the Talcan were the baseliners. Now I'd be the first to admit there are holes in it
  628. [ 2015.02.28 22:26:39 ] Kithrus > just a thought though
  629. [ 2015.02.28 22:26:47 ] N'maro Makari > "Next question from Lisa Ouyano"
  630. [ 2015.02.28 22:28:06 ] Lisa Ouyano > /emote stands and bows. > Thank you Mister Crases. My quesion, how do we know these Talocan and Sleeper structures are generating wormholes? Specifically if we know they are definitely responsible for wormhole generation what is stopping us from
  631. [ 2015.02.28 22:28:21 ] Lisa Ouyano > going to them, recovering what we can, and using the technologies ourselves?
  632. [ 2015.02.28 22:29:58 ] Kithrus > Because aside from being reconizable to non fuctioning versions in caldari space they are fuctioning still in Thera. I have reason to believe Sansha found his was into Thera or a system like Thera and used them to make the wormholes he used to attack us
  633. [ 2015.02.28 22:31:37 ] Lisa Ouyano > /emote bows. > Thank you Mister Crases. < The she returns to her seat. >
  634. [ 2015.02.28 22:31:41 ] N'maro Makari > "One last question please, Zero Vigilant"
  635. [ 2015.02.28 22:31:45 ] Saede Riordan > /emote stands up from her place near the back and stretches.
  636. [ 2015.02.28 22:32:55 ] Kithrus > /emote looks to Zero
  637. [ 2015.02.28 22:33:17 ] Zero Vigilant > /emote rises > Thank you very much. Mr. Kithrus, I unfortunately arrive late to your presentation so I apologize if you may have already answered this but, you mentioned that the stars give power to make the wormholes possible, where does this power ...
  638. [ 2015.02.28 22:33:35 ] Zero Vigilant > ...go exactly? What captures the power?
  639. [ 2015.02.28 22:36:42 ] Kithrus > The stars supernova changes space it releases the energy in all direction making the wormhole possible. If you were to go to the Epic center in Thera you would see talocan star gates generating wormholes
  640. [ 2015.02.28 22:37:24 ] Kithrus > I wish I could go into great detail but
  641. [ 2015.02.28 22:37:28 ] Kithrus > time
  642. [ 2015.02.28 22:37:46 ] Saede Riordan > /emote strolls up to the stage and leans against the front of it, nodding to Kithrus.
  643. [ 2015.02.28 22:38:03 ] Kithrus > /emote raises a brow
  644. [ 2015.02.28 22:38:05 ] Jennifer Starfall > /emote walks back up to the podium.

  651. [ 2015.02.28 22:38:38 ] Caroline Grace > /emote claps and WooHooes loudly
  652. [ 2015.02.28 22:38:44 ] Lisa Ouyano > /emote claps softly and politely. >
  653. [ 2015.02.28 22:39:14 ] Jennifer Starfall > And now, our last session for the day, we'd like to welcome back Saede Riordan for a more advanced look of Wormhole Physics.
  654. [ 2015.02.28 22:39:14 ] Caroline Grace > /emote whistles and claps some more
  655. [ 2015.02.28 22:39:43 ] Jennifer Starfall > /emote steps aside.
  656. [ 2015.02.28 22:40:08 ] Saede Riordan > /emote hops up on the stage, smiling at Jenn, "You guys are going to be sick of me by the end of this." She steps behind the podium. "Lets just dive right in then."
  657. [ 2015.02.28 22:40:12 ] Morwen Lagann > /emote looks to Jen briefly, then waits for the applause to subside before reactivating the acoustic dampeners.
  658. [ 2015.02.28 22:40:35 ] EVE System > Channel default access set to Moderated by Morwen Lagann. This channel is now effectively running in moderated mode.
  659. [ 2015.02.28 22:41:04 ] Saede Riordan > /emote displays an image on the monitor. "So, what you're looking at here is what we call the Anoikis Blossom."
  660. [ 2015.02.28 22:42:19 ] Saede Riordan > "Its a somewhat confusing one, so lets talk about it a bit. Each arrow in this image represents a potential static that a wormhole may have. It only shows statics, not wanderings, thus there are many wormholes not shown on this image."
  661. [ 2015.02.28 22:43:06 ] Saede Riordan > "I made this image back before Caroline's Star, but it has all the 'standard' wormhole static connections."
  662. [ 2015.02.28 22:43:42 ] Saede Riordan > "Now, to those of you not familiar with a static wormhole, what that means is that something has effected the system's potentialities, causing a wormhole to always form there to the same area, one after another after another."
  663. [ 2015.02.28 22:44:11 ] Saede Riordan > "As soon as B274 highsec static connection collapses due to mass transfer, or age, another will form in its place."
  664. [ 2015.02.28 22:45:22 ] Saede Riordan > "Its this predictability that allows us to create the image you see here. So lets take my system, Origin, as an example, it has a B274 highsec static, which we've named Juno, and a Y683 C4 static, which we've named Whisper."
  665. [ 2015.02.28 22:45:25 ] Ollie Rundle > ** Display Screen: As Saede speaks, in one corner of the main screen small "Would You Like To Know More?" type links relating to static and wandering wormhole connections appear. **
  666. [ 2015.02.28 22:46:39 ] Saede Riordan > "Juno wormhole will always connect to highsec. Every time it reforms, it is to a different area of high security space, and specifically high security space. It does not deviate, it does not wander, it doesn't go to lowsec sometimes."
  667. [ 2015.02.28 22:47:30 ] Saede Riordan > "Now, does that sound natural to you?" She gestures to the image, "What you're looking at are the gears to a machine that extends for light years across space."
  668. [ 2015.02.28 22:48:43 ] Saede Riordan > "Here's the interesting part though. When a wormhole forms, it forms in a specific direction. The direction of the arrows in the image. This produces a K162 'exit' wormhole on the 'other side' as it were."
  669. [ 2015.02.28 22:49:56 ] Saede Riordan > "And when you realize that, you realize something else. There are no statics from Known Space into Anoikis, the only statics can be found here."
  670. [ 2015.02.28 22:51:11 ] Saede Riordan > "Well now, since Seyllin, wandering connections have formed in Known Space bound for Anoikis, allowing us to get inside, and open the static connections from the inside."
  671. [ 2015.02.28 22:53:00 ] Saede Riordan > "But before Seyllin, this could all have already existed, we just wouldn't have known because there was no one inside to open the doors for us."
  672. [ 2015.02.28 22:54:14 ] Saede Riordan > "So we have two types of wormholes, statics which behave in an incredibly consistant, deterministic, almost mechanical fashion. And then we have wandering connections, which can occur anywhere, in any stability level."
  673. [ 2015.02.28 22:56:37 ] Saede Riordan > "Lord Crases has already said it, but I'll just reiterate. Wormholes are not natural, they are a meticulously engineered phenomena."
  674. [ 2015.02.28 22:58:47 ] Saede Riordan > "So, how? Well we don't know. There clearly is a way to generate wormhole connections with incredible accuracy, even over long durations. Never in the two years we've been in Origin has Juno ever led to anywhere out of highsec."
  675. [ 2015.02.28 22:59:26 ] Saede Riordan > "But it has led to highsec pocket systems in deep Aridia, surrounded by dozens of lowsec systems."
  676. [ 2015.02.28 23:00:30 ] Saede Riordan > "This level of precision is unnerving. In order to get it, whoever made the wormholes must have known about security statuses. Its clear they've been watching us."
  677. [ 2015.02.28 23:02:16 ] Saede Riordan > "Its time though, that we need to start cracking wormholes ourselves. If we don't, its only a matter of time before they're used to destroy us."
  678. [ 2015.02.28 23:02:56 ] Saede Riordan > "I'll end it there for now, I know some of you need to get going, but I'm hoping we have some time for questions?" She glances at Jenn.
  679. [ 2015.02.28 23:03:27 ] Jennifer Starfall > /emote steps back to he podium.
  680. [ 2015.02.28 23:03:44 ] Jennifer Starfall > Any questions?
  681. [ 2015.02.28 23:03:59 ] EVE System > Channel default access set to Allowed by Morwen Lagann. This channel will now only reject people on the blocked list.
  682. [ 2015.02.28 23:04:21 ] Khaprice > Looks around the room.
  683. [ 2015.02.28 23:04:22 ] Morwen Lagann > /emote disables the acoustic dampeners again, thens lips the tiny datapad into her pocket.
  684. [ 2015.02.28 23:04:40 ] Jennifer Starfall > /emote looks around.
  685. [ 2015.02.28 23:04:47 ] Jennifer Starfall > Well, thank you, Saede.
  686. [ 2015.02.28 23:04:51 ] Jennifer Starfall > /emote claps.

  695. [ 2015.02.28 23:05:16 ] Saede Riordan > /emote shrugs, "Thank you Jenn, I'll be hanging out after we're done if anyone wants to discuss this further."
  696. [ 2015.02.28 23:05:25 ] Morwen Lagann > /emote applauds politely. Her cane falls off her lap in the process with a quiet clatter, and she leans over, trying to pick it up.
  697. [ 2015.02.28 23:05:26 ] Zenariae > /emote offers quiet and polite apprecciative applause, dropping her datapad at the same time.

  745. [ 2015.02.28 23:13:04 ] Caroline Grace > No, I guess I can't
  746. [ 2015.02.28 23:13:07 ] Saede Riordan > /emote nods, "That's bound to happen. Though I will say, I did think you were reaching a bit with some of your conclusions, no offense of course."
  747. [ 2015.02.28 23:13:12 ] Zenariae > /emote picks her datapad up from the floor and stands, shuffling about briefly and fussing with it before exiting.
