  1. ƛllɩsoɳ Ϝʀosʈ : [A creature of the night had braved the daylight in the name of getting shit done. And not dying of boredom….as well. The Crytikos house had plenty of evil, awful and oddly fascinating features to keep the young True Brujah occupied, but she eventually found herself becoming restless. Thankfully, word had spread of her presence and although she didn’t mind the inquiries of potential long-term practice, she wasn’t grateful for the questions regarding or origin. Essentially everyone she met was a <c>
  2.
  3. ƛllɩsoɳ Ϝʀosʈ : complete stranger, yet they already had many assumptions and behaved as if they knew her. They knew a reputation, but it should have had nothing to do with her presence in this realm or should it affect her practice. She wasn’t the first descendant of Frost to visit Deathstalker and she wouldn’t be the last. These two empires had a fated past, present and future that started long before Immitus sired his first childe. Her business to deliver a private missive to a certain General of The East brought the foreigner to finally witness the splendid riches of this empire manifested in the form of a beautiful castle. <c>
  4.
  5. ƛllɩsoɳ Ϝʀosʈ : Every empire had a castle and this one did not disappoint. The halls of the Hallowed Empire at its most crowded had not been like this. There were people of many races, and their costumes needed no interpretation of rank and class. It was easy enough to differentiate between who and what were among her. She probably looked a little odd and simple in her ensemble – a stark black cloak, the only hint of color being the hem of her bright red skirts peeking from underneath the heavy garb. At least her head was visible with her hood drawn, but her dark coffee gaze and long black hair were equally <c>
  6.
  7. ƛllɩsoɳ Ϝʀosʈ : monotone against the glitter and beauty that lined the massive halls that dwarfed the masses. Yet no one stared at her as these occupants were accustomed to strangeness and boring figures alike. She casted her dark gaze about for any directive. Now she was lost. Her footsteps abruptly stopped and she extended a hand to gently snatch the arm of a passing servant. “Please tell me how I can find the office of the General of the East.”]

  45. DuräŋgoBläck : *It was funny how some things happened, Tempestas had come to visit him for a single night. To bring him the news of how Harland had been killed and comfort him as he sobbed through the night. We'd just leave it as it was and consider it comfort as the being walked the hallways of the castle. The underside of his almond eyes were just a touch pink as he carried a dress over his right arm and had a dress in his other hand. He was taking them from the Empress's closet to store in his old shop to possibly change it a little or just carefully store it away so she would have it for the next season. But he had to stop, hearing the voice of a female he was not accustomed too and it made him tilt his head curiously. The tailor was wearing his normal black dress slacks, polished boots since he was in the Deathstalker keep, a form fitted dress shirt that was long sleeved, and a form fitted dark red silk vest that had black embroidery upon it. That long thigh length hair of his? Up in a messy*C
  46.
  47. DuräŋgoBläck : *bun and secured with those crochet length needles that were sharp, were deadly, and weapons but disguised as hair ornaments. His three pair of ornate scissors in their holster on his right thigh as he would turn his head to look around curiously. General of the East? Wasn't that Jade? He couldn't remember, too many titles, too many people, he just went based on what they gave him or did to him. That's when those small oval glasses of his slid down his nose a little more as he slowly approached the woman.* "Excuse me? Are you lost?" *Why not see if he could help her out, no? Probably not, but! He could at least try!* E
  48.
  49. Ðᴙϵɴαı·Ɗϵɑτђsταᴌᴋϵᴙ : :: The Emperor had visited The Crytikos Estate the previous week and had found the experience odd, and for obvious reasons. For he’d had little to do with the Heretic Prince since Casim’s departure from the Realm, and it had been under duress that he’d visited that accursed manor at all. Were it not for the General of the South, who’d prompted him to go, Drenai would have assuredly scoffed at the idea. For no other reason than he was Overlord of all he surveyed, meaning he needed a good reason to go anyway, given how limited his patience and time were. >>
  50.
  51. Ðᴙϵɴαı·Ɗϵɑτђsταᴌᴋϵᴙ : >> Typically speaking, the man didn’t get out of bed unless he was about to condemn a small country to oblivion. However his respect for Alauneyl was significant, meaning he’d made the trip. Just stepping into that house brought back an abundance of memories. Of laughter and of betrayal. Drenai setting his jaw as he stalked down the labyrinthine hallways of Deathstalker Castle, in contemplative remembrance. His ever-dutiful scribe beside him with an abundance of scrolls draped over his thin arm. Duncan’s feathered pen doused in ink, as he scribbled notations in shorthand. >>
  52.
  53. Ðᴙϵɴαı·Ɗϵɑτђsταᴌᴋϵᴙ : >> “What are we doing today then?” Asked the nonchalant Nephilim, the pair strolling into the Great Hall. Given there was no battle to ride to, he was dressed in casual leathers, a bearskin cloak encompassing his prodigious shoulders and riding boots, which suggested he planned on taking a trip to the forest at the first opportunity. However Court was a necessary evil. “The Frost woman is here to see the General of the East.” Answered the bespectacled advisor. “My daughter? What interest could Frostwind have with her?” Replied Drenai. >>
  54.
  55. Ðᴙϵɴαı·Ɗϵɑτђsταᴌᴋϵᴙ : >> Clearly the Royal Scribe was well informed, with spies throughout the fortress overhearing conversations and reporting back to the old man beside the Tyrant. Dark strands of hair passing in front of Drenai’s rugged features as the one-eyed Emperor allowed his imperial gaze to roam the marbled chamber. Ah. There she was. Spotting Allison. She was with the tailor. His previous encounter with the dark maiden been vague and uninteresting, ultimately the dialogue with Valance had been the priority. >>
  56.
  57. Ðᴙϵɴαı·Ɗϵɑτђsταᴌᴋϵᴙ : >> Yet given the Frost girl’s intentions of finding Jade, the Emperor saw fit to intervene. Venturing in Allison and Durango’s direction. “Greetings to you both. A pleasure to see you again Lady Frost.” He stated. Whatever the reality was concerning this girl’s origin, the grizzled Tyrant seemed either oblivious or uninterested. Either that or he was sublimely manipulative and just wanted it to appear that way. “Welcome to Deathstalker Castle.” Drenai being polite was reminisce of a shark smiling at you. An apex predator and the waters were deepest here. Allison was a long way from home. ::

  77. ĠaȑȑiċkŁęMoŗŧę : After his meeting with Rango the other day the man had been sitting inside his estate within the noble district, though this time he sat at a desk thinking about his past and future at this moment. In his right hand was a quill that was being dipped into a ink well before it was touched to parchment. The words that followed were in response to Drenai offer weeks prior. He had given teh offer some serious thoughts<C>

  80.
  81. ĠaȑȑiċkŁęMoŗŧę : Garrick was a man of action after all he was not that much different from Drenai at all. Garrick looked over at His sleeping wife since there journey to teh Warg woods Garrick had been left to heal on his own slowly. New skin replaced the burnt bits of his chest and other areas. During his meeting with Rango Garrick had never removed his hood thus never allowed teh tailor to seen the damage done to him by the ireball he took. <C>
  82.
  83. ƛllɩsoɳ Ϝʀosʈ : [The servant didn’t appear thrilled about a stranger grabbing her arm and was likely taken back by the woman’s strong hand, despite her small stature. Allie didn’t miss a beat, but calmly waited for the woman to collect her thoughts enough to form a reply. Her free arm gestured in the direction of what Allie assumed would be Jade’s office and her arm was released. She wasn’t impressed by her vague response, but the vampire had already picked up on the woman’s arrhythmia (irregular heart beat). It took Allie seconds to also account for the swelling in the woman’s lower legs and sickly yellow <c>
  84.
  85. ĠaȑȑiċkŁęMoŗŧę : Garrick also never informed his daughter either best to not let her know in teh slightest, they were already at odds recently. Garrick would finished writing what he had to say before setting the quill down and waiting for the ink to dry. Once it had he would roll the parchment up and grab the silver colored waxe and putting it to flame before dropping a decent glob onto the scroll and pressing his ring into it to seal the missive.<C>
  86.
  87. ƛllɩsoɳ Ϝʀosʈ : skin – she had heart disease. Her dimpled smile was a sign of retreat and the vampire turned away only for her gaze to match a set of puffy, almond shaped eyes. He seemed nice. “Yes, actually. This castle is unreasonably massive and confusing. I need to find the General of the East’s office. I believe you all refer to her as Jade.” One would have to be deaf and blind or just a moron not to notice the Emperor of Deathstalker and his entourage approach you. The second half of her reply to Durango trailed off into distraction as her coffee gaze narrowed upon the approaching figures. He didn’t seem nice and yet he <c>
  88.
  89. ƛllɩsoɳ Ϝʀosʈ : was smiling. The True Brujah summoned the muscle memory of being in the presence of royalty with perfect timing to fold her arms at her waist and offer a respectful bow, despite the flood of criticism in her mind. A pleasure to see you again? They had never met. She had later discovered from Valance that he was briefly at the Crytikos estate but had never actually stepped into the room before he took his leave. But it didn’t take any words for Allie to know that this Emperor, just like Immitus, had the resources at his disposal to make it a point to know everything that happened in his realm. He smiled <c>
  90.
  91. ƛllɩsoɳ Ϝʀosʈ : knowingly and as she straightened, she would return the sweet, arrogant expression. “Good afternoon your majesty and to you as well.” She took a step back and offered a polite incline of her head toward Durango. “I am Allison Frost. I am sure you are already aware of my reason for coming to your empire but I will relay my intention with my own words. I am a physician and I will attend the academy to learn and practice occult medicine.” Wait, did he say daughter? “I was unaware Jade was your daughter. I <c>
  92.
  93. ƛllɩsoɳ Ϝʀosʈ : have a message to deliver from an old friend in Frostwind.” Her reason was vague. She went from being clueless and lost to now playing a careful game of ‘who can learn the most with saying the least.’]

His fur was short, black, surprisingly soft, but he towered over even a great dane dog. Thus! Here he was now. 135. Ðᴙϵɴαı·Ɗϵɑτђsταᴌᴋϵᴙ : :: The whole point of visiting The Crytikos Estate at the advisement of Alauneyl centred around the maiden of Frostwind. Her existence represented the reach of his father in Drenai’s mind. It hadn’t been the first time an emissary had been sent by Immitus and his son didn’t expect it to be the last either, for Allison’s presence continued a long tradition. With one obvious exception, the Axe-Man had shown little interest in the people that his father sent into Deathstalker territory. >>
  136.
  137. Ðᴙϵɴαı·Ɗϵɑτђsταᴌᴋϵᴙ : >> Given the irony that Drenai claimed the distinction of being the only offspring to Immitus while he was alive, the Nephilim inwardly judged these undead pretenders all as frauds. Like an echo of something long since departed. Naturally he knew they felt the same way about him. Though the Emperor imagined that he was most like the real Immitus. By that he meant the man. When he lived and breathed. If that were true, the Titan also speculated that Immitus wouldn’t have liked what he’d eventually become, for the simple fact that Drenai didn’t. Something dark and terrible. >>
  138.
  139. Ðᴙϵɴαı·Ɗϵɑτђsταᴌᴋϵᴙ : >> Though again, the lines were blurred, because the tyrannical monarch of -these- lands was a different type of monster. Like fire and ice, light and dark, Frostwind and Deathstalker were juxtaposed yet eternally bound. Dialogue with Allison herself had been unnecessary that night at The Crytikos Estate. But Drenai -had- seen her. More importantly, he’d felt her. A conversation with Valance had been of greater importance however. Or had it been a confrontation? The Tyrant amused by the brashness of the Arcane Prince. Especially given the Realm’s climate, for magic had waned in these parts. >>
  140.
  141. Ðᴙϵɴαı·Ɗϵɑτђsταᴌᴋϵᴙ : >> Though therein lay another point of note. For the Emperor had turned the mystical woe of others into an opportunity for control. Feeling the heat of the crystalized dragon shard worn against his chest on a chain, beneath the leather he wore. The Titan augmented with another spectrum of power which traced its origin back to Tiamat, and the element of fire. “Naturally.” Answered the Tyrant curtly, in response to her unnecessary introduction. “Very little escapes my attention.” The smile turning colder. >>
  142.
  143. Ðᴙϵɴαı·Ɗϵɑτђsταᴌᴋϵᴙ : >> “Indeed. I too was unaware until recently. She was separated from her mother at birth and her true identity was discovered only last year. Jade provides a diplomatic link to the Realm of Darkness as a result.” Despite the Emperor’s wealth of insight, he didn’t claim to know everything and the mysterious friend Allison spoke of intrigued him. “I trust my father is in good health?” Aside from being death that is, mused Drenai. “Yes I hear that too,” replied the Titan as Durango mentioned his son, which the Emperor agreed to watch over. “How is your shop doing old friend?” He asked the dog-man-person. >>
  144.
  145. Ðᴙϵɴαı·Ɗϵɑτђsταᴌᴋϵᴙ : >> Yet the tailor was already beginning to change and in his canine form, had approached the Nephilim, who obliged the need for affection. Rubbing the creature’s mane. “Forgive my friend, the tailor does that sometimes.” He explained. ::

  147. Ԑꭆɩᴤ♥ŁɛϺⱺꭆтɛ : Since taking the journey to the Woodland of the Wargs, Eris had been ... mostly ... sleeping. While it hadn't taken near as much out of her to help Carrick and the others that had gone as it had when she'd helped to bring Gabrielle back, it was still taxing on her physically, especially with the limitations that were currently on magic within the realm. It was irritating, to say the absolute least, to have such restrictions placed on a being so used to being connected to the chaotic elements around her, but she was making due without the use of said abilities. As it was, Eris had her head buried in the pillows, not in the least interested in rousing herself ... until she heard Garrick threatening the servants. Still feeling a little groggy, she stretched and rolled over beneath the blankets so that those tired, icy hues could take in the scene before her. It wasn't until the servant had left that she opted to let him know she was awake. (c

"You act as though none of those you insist we employ are worth their weight in salt. Give the guy a break." A rare moment of humanity shown toward someone that, quite frankly, Eris could live without. If Garrick had chosen to heal on his own, without the help that her blood or his daughter's talents could offer, that was on him. She wasn't about to chide the man for being stubborn and hard headed. That would be like speaking to a brick wall and telling it to get the fuck out of her way. It just wouldn't happen. "What was so important you thought you needed to threaten him anyway?" With Garrick out of the way, and she obviously having no intentions of getting up, Eris pulled the pillow that Garrick used closer to herself and curled around it contently. In truth, she needed to get back with Victoria about the offer to attend a Council meeting with the woman. (c

Her gaze abandoned the present company briefly to gawk at the dresses draped in Durango’s arms. Judging from the needle pricks littering the tips of his calloused fingers, he created these masterpieces. 171. ƛllɩsoɳ Ϝʀosʈ : seemingly distracted with Durango, Allie had the impressive ability to concentrate on her full surroundings, intently. Perhaps it came with the territory of her profession. Cutting an artery during an incision wasn’t an option while people stood and screamed around you to save their loved one. You had to take it all in and sort it out accordingly and quickly. She listened to Drenai’s story regarding Jade and was very surprised to hear this news. She quickly stood and folded her hands behind her back to keep herself from playing with Durango. “I think he is fascinating.” Referring to the canine. “Immitus is feeling his age. However, there was something about the way he smiled and the tension in his shoulders that told the True Brujah she was missing something important. “I must admit that I am a little out <c>

Then the center head split again to create a third head and that's when he shook himself off to reveal a serpentine tail that hissed and snapped at people too close to him and his size had become even larger to accommodate the heads. Each one looked like just a happy puppy as he bounded around before practically jumping on Drenai and licking at his face with all three tongues, triple the happy dog slobber! Bwa haha!* E

  219. Ԑꭆɩᴤ♥ŁɛϺⱺꭆтɛ : "Mhmm ..." The tone with which Eris even murmured her acknowledgement of Garrick's words went so far as to say that she didn't quite believe that. But that sound soon turned into what could be construed as a cat's purr whenever he made his way over to settle on the bed next to her. His lips finding the bare flesh of her shoulder. "You don't think it's enough that they know who and what we are?" Some form of logic, even if it was outdated in some cases, said that beings like themselves were to be feared regardless of what came out of their mouths or how they acted. Should Eris have been human when Garrick had first approached her, she doubted they would've had the same relationship they did now. Simply because she would've been too weary of the Vampire from the word go. As his lips trailed up her shoulder and eventually his fangs found her earlobe, she shifted, moving closer to Garrick so that she could rest her head on his thigh. (c

I don't see why we need so many of them to begin with." But then, Eris was the woman that didn't give a damn about the fact that she held titles of her own and was, essentially, 'entitled' to having some form of hired help floating about at her beck and call. Something Garrick should be well aware of, considering she'd not had a single servant when he'd met her, and had protested the fact that he'd insisted upon hiring some for her when they'd gotten married and moved into this house. As the subject shifted, she nodded slightly. "I've given it as much thought as I've been able with being unconscious and all." A slight chuckle left her lips. "I suppose I should get back to Victoria about that." With the way she was angled now, she let her gaze travel over him. (c

  231. Ðᴙϵɴαı·Ɗϵɑτђsταᴌᴋϵᴙ : :: The Emperor was undoubtedly complicated. For as many that he massacred, he was just as capable of befriending the most curious of individuals and Durango had been testament to that. The Tailor and the Tyrant had struck up an unlikely comradery, resulting in Drenai agreeing to be the godfather to his son. Factoring Caitel into the equation, that practically made them related, which was equal parts absurd and hilarious. Least according to the disbelieving Royal Scribe, who was quite certain his Master had been drunk when he’d agreed. Nevertheless, Durango had remained in the Axe-Man’s good graces ever since. >>

Meaning their wealth now converges in Immortalis due to taxes and trade. Money is good enough incentive to beckon anyone here.” Which seemed like logical reasoning. There was a knowing nod as Allison elaborated on the state of his father. Despite occasional criticism from Drenai, he had infinite respect for Immitus and would have struck down anybody who besmirched his father’s name in his presence. “My relationship with him is complicated, but mostly well-intentioned.” Smiled the Nephilim. >>

He created a cape for me just last month, with exquisite silver stitching. Thus I tolerate his condition.” Referencing his bizarre shapeshifting. The Hound of Hades!” The Emperor declared. Obviously joking, despite his dramatic outburst. Drenai was particularly impressed by the serpentine tail. Taking a deep breath, the Emperor’s composure returned. “See. Who needs True Brujah defending you, when you have one of these.” He remarked smugly. A glint of humour in his one violet eye. ::

If he said he wouldn't do so, she was going to beat a Vampire. Though she winced visibly as he took her arm and sank his teeth into her wrist, Eris made no verbal protest. Nor did she try and take her arm away from him. "You've been a man of war too long, my love. There are other ways of garnering complete obedience from those you employ or protect. The unique distinction was that the right head, had emerald green eyes, the center head had silver eyes with one missing, and the left had a mix of gold and red. Each head represented something, Young, Adult, Old.. Past, Present, Future. Madeline had sworn him into service to the family and here he stood, looking down at that young tru brujah while sizing her up at the same time. Truthfully he didn't mind vampires, but the one thing he didn't like, they were unnaturally cold. He did not like the cold as it considerably weakened him and coming back to reality, the canine being looked at Drenai with all three head before it was the center one that responded with that deep growl and mixed tenor tone.* "We prefer Keroberos, but everyone keeps calling us as our master once did, Cerberus.." *It was the right head*C

  299. Ðᴙϵɴαı·Ɗϵɑτђsταᴌᴋϵᴙ : :: Drenai was quietly intrigued by Allison and if it hadn’t been bad manners, he might have asked her questions related to her previous life as a mortal, the nature of her death and the precise reason she’d entered a coven of vampires, led by his dark father. Despite this curiosity however, the Emperor had encountered enough of them to afford them the respect they were owed as representatives of his father. Thus he was always cordial. Even hospitable. Though on this occasion he refrained from offering Allison a place in his castle, which may have been his preference, for he had no intention of going back to that house. >>

It was when Allison referenced the proverbial chessboard that the bespectacled scribe behind Drenai snickered, coughing to mask his laughter. Though the Emperor caught Duncan’s amusement and looked over his shoulder briefly. “What?” Enquired Duncan, feigning innocence. It had been a brilliant observation by Allison. Because the true art of a ruler, was not merely to wipe the pieces from the board, but rather to manoeuvre and control them. It was the Tyrant’s preference to -not- be perceived as the cunning strategist he really was. Because in so doing, shades of Drenai’s personality were more easily visible. The corner of the Titan’s mouth rising into a wry smirk. “You’re clever. I like that.” Admitted the Emperor. A compliment? So it seemed. >>

You couldn’t ask for better assistance.” The Titan’s focus shifting to the abomination his friend had transformed into. “Nice to meet you Keroberos.” Unsure if the head in the middle still belonged to Durango. >>

Takes after me that way,” said Drenai self-gratifyingly. “Speaking of, I’ll send someone to go find her for you.” Remembering that Allison had come here not to bow and scrape before the Emperor but had sought out the General of the East and illustrious Shadow Raven, herself.
