>Kazu: Since a you control a monster while I do not, I activate my trap- Call of the Bloodline, meaning I can search my library for a "Vampire Knight" card and add it to my hand, but since you have more life points than me, by paying half of my life total I can summon it instead! So arise, Vampire Knight Archlord of the Night!

>Edward: But that means hes now got more attack than my Berzerker!
>Kazu: And thats not all! Due to his second ability I can now negate all special abilities one monster you control has!
>Edward: What?
>Kazu: Thats right, now go! Destroy his Berzerker!

>Edward: Due to the ability of Darkstar Nexus, my monster is banished rather than being sent to the graveyard, however that means I get to draw a card
>Kazu: I shall now end my turn with a facedown
>Kazu: Your move, and you had better hope its a good one
>Edward: How is a little kid so tough?
>Kazu: "little kid"? "little kid"? You insolent fool, your engorged ego clouds your feeble mind. I am no mere child, I am the King of the Night, I am the lord of Walachia!
>Edward: You could be God himself for how much good its going to do you, now shut up and duel.
>Edward: I play the spell Darkstar Summons, meaning that by Banishing Darkstar Wraith from my Graveyard I can draw Two cards.
*Edward Smiles*
>Edward: That was a nice trick you pulled right there, but its not going to be enough,
>Edward: By banishing Darkstar Archer from my hand I can special summon Exarch, Saber of the Darkstar from my hand, and with its effect I can destroy your Vampire Knight and deal you damage equal to its attack points. And that means this game is over!
>Kazu: *smirking* Not so fast, you've activated my trap card; Blood Oath of the Immortal!
>Kazu: When an effect would deal damage to me, I can instead prevent that effects activation and then reduce the attack of one of my opponents monsters by that amount.
>Edward: But that means..
>Kazu: That my Vampire Knight sticks around!
>Edward: Then Ill place a card face down and end my turn.
>Kazu: Draw! And this shall be the final one of the match! I play Impaler, Bloodspear of the Immortal and equip it to my Vampire Knight
>Kazu: With this my knight gains 500 attack points and cannot be destroyed by spell or trap cards, and leaves you with no way out!
>Kazu: Now face justice fiend, attack Vampire Knight Archlord of the Night! Destroy his Exarch and finish this!
>Edward: I was waiting for that, I activate my trap card Darkstar Intervention.
>Edward: By banishing Darkstar Witch from my hand I can prevent myself from taking damage for the duration of this turn.
>Edward: And now that Darkstar Witch has been removed from the game her effect triggers! Meaning I receive two Dark Shard Tokens at the end of turn.
>Kazu: Hmph, those tokens are not match for my Knight, but just in case: I play the spell card "arena of blood"
>Kazu: While this spell is in effect my monsters cant be destroyed by battle, which means that now you cant even counter-attack!
>Edward: Thats cute, but its not going to matter. I draw!
>Edward: Now, prepare to join your friends, for I now summon my most powerful monster! By tributing both of mu Dark Shard Tokens I can now summon BLACK-HOLE DRAGON!
*The air between them swirls around a black dot which grows and begins absorbing the cards in play*
>Kazu: What manner of card is this? What kind of monster have you summoned?
>Edward: The ultimate kind!
>Edward: When this monster is summoned it banishes all cards on the field, and then gains attack for every card removed from the game!
>Kazu: But that means!
>Edward: That it will end you.
>Edward: Now attack, Annihilation Nova!
>Kazu: Im not out yet! By removing a monster card from my graveyard I can activate the effect of the trap Bloodmist from my hand, reducing your monsters attack points to zero until the end of turn!
>Edward: Hah! A futile effort! My Black Hole Dragon is immune to the effects of spell and trap cards you control! Its attack remains unchanged and your fate remains sealed!
*The Beam engulfs Kazu*
>Kazu: Chaser, everyone, I'm sorry, I couldnt protect you or avenge you... Please, forgive me.
>???: No, it is you who must forgive me.
>Kazy: Who... Who is this?
*A tall dark haired man stands between Kazu and the beam, shielding him*
>???: I am the curse you have borne since you were but a child, the weight of your bloodline. And I have failed you.
>???: It was my lust for power that was the source of our family's curse. My quest for strength that proved to be my greatest weakness.
>???: But in you I see a strength and selflessness that has the capability to change that, for you are stronger than I could ever be.
>???: Believe in yourself Kazu, as I do. And always remember, you are the pride of our clan!
>Kazu: What do you mean? What are you doing? NO!
*the dark haired man is engulfed by the attack and it blasts Kazu off his feet, tearing the room apart with its impact*

>Edward: Who is this? Reveal yourself, I dont have the time or patience to listed to your idiotic prattling!
>???: Then maybe I should show myself
*The figure stands under one of the remaining functional lights and pulls back his hood*
>Edward: It cant be!
>???: Come now Edward, we both know better than that.
>???: Now hand over the Obelisk and save us both the time.
>Edward: If you think Im going to give you that Obelisk you must be even crazier than you look. Bring it on!
