TSW: 24 Kasra and Lily Part 1

[17:56]	IcePickLobotomy	You're standing atop a gentle hill, covered in waist high grass and dotted in white flowers. A vast flat plane of rolling hills, all covered likewise, stretches out as far as you can see. Lily is standing beside you, wearing a loose sleeveless dress that exposes most of her back and shoulders.

[17:59]	IcePickLobotomy	"Hey Kasra, sorry it's been a while."
[18:00]	Kasra	"It...I guess it has. How are you feeling?"
[18:00]	IcePickLobotomy	"I'm doing better." She wraps her arms around herself "Still recovering though, in a way."
[18:01]	Kasra	"I guess...Lily? Who was that woman I met in the desert?"
[18:01]	Kasra	(Forgive me if she already answered, I've forgotten
[18:03]	IcePickLobotomy	"She's a. . . interface. A sentient telephone directory for the Crossroads if you may. I do not know how she came to be, only what she is."
[18:04]	Kasra	"She seemed pretty cranky for a phone, heh..."
[18:04]	IcePickLobotomy	Lily giggles "Probably needs a tune-up. . ."
[18:04]	Kasra	"What...nevermind. Did you want to talk about something?"
[18:05]	IcePickLobotomy	"Kasra, if you have more questions please ask."
[18:06]	Kasra	"What are you, then?"
[18:07]	IcePickLobotomy	"A God pretending to be a girl."
[18:08]	Kasra	"So...you're an...intruder? Something else?"
[18:10]	IcePickLobotomy	"Something else. There is a. . . relation there I will admit, but not a direct lineage. If my creator were my mother, then I would be a cousin to the Angels, what you call the Intruders."
[18:12]	Kasra	"Don't call them angels, please."
[18:12]	IcePickLobotomy	"Force of habit. I'll try and refrain however."

[18:17]	Kasra	"Thanks. Hey, uh...the phone...she said something about me being something. I was trying to find out but...sorry. I should have come for you first."
[18:18]	IcePickLobotomy	She purses her lips "It's. . . not something I am. . . I don't know everything Kasra, but I have ideas, inclinations. Feelings you understand. But nothing concrete."

[18:19]	IcePickLobotomy	(I told you, if you want to pop in IC and say a few things go for it. If not we can say Kasra is busy doing METI stuff)

[18:20]	Kasra	"What do you feel, then?"
[18:21]	IcePickLobotomy	"You feel strange Kasra. Different from the others. And not in the way Robin does either."
[18:21]	Kasra	"Wait, how does Robin feel?"
[18:22]	IcePickLobotomy	"The plague touched her, and it left it's mark. I'm certain that it was the result of something my counterpart in your world did. That's why Robin feels. . familiar, for lack of a better term."
[18:23]	Kasra	"I feel bad for her...have you talked to her?"
[18:23]	IcePickLobotomy	"Not really, do you think I should?"
[18:25]	Kasra	"Maybe. She's...she's been through a lot, and you've always been there for me."
[18:32]	IcePickLobotomy	"Yes, but I'm also afraid of. . . what being around Robin would do to her and I."
[18:32]	IcePickLobotomy	"Or could do I should say."
[18:32]	Kasra	"I get it. Maybe I'll ask her. What could happen though?"
[18:35]	IcePickLobotomy	"For Robin? I honestly cannot say. For myself? I worry about what proximity to a. . . full Progenitor would do to me."
[18:35]	Kasra	"Wait...what?"
[18:35]	IcePickLobotomy	"And while Robin only holds a connection, I still cannot dispense with that fear entirely."
[18:37]	IcePickLobotomy	She clears her throat "The First Ones sent their creations into the stars to forge new worlds and new life. For each seed there was a Progenitor, a sentient Terra forming entity."
[18:38]	IcePickLobotomy	"And the Red Death is. . . something created by, or based upon, your worlds Progenitor. Which is of the same kind that gave birth to me."
[18:39]	Kasra	sits down heavily. "It's a little strange to just...hear that spelled out."
[18:41]	IcePickLobotomy	She sits down next to you "I can sympathise. Now the Progenitors, for all their power and knowledge, are entities that exist solely to serve the First Ones. They have no. . will so to speak, no drive, no emotion, nothing that would make them a. . person. In this way even the Intruders are more "alive" than they are."
[18:44]	Kasra	"They're just machines. So what about the intruders?"
