- [00:47] The clink of mithril would be hearding ringing against the icy stones of Theria, his hand warmed by the blue haired drakanite he had claimed as his own, Revan would find his father standing infront of the dragon statue, what lovely sight. As the bandaged son approached, it was noted over his white shirt and wrappings would be his very own set of Nyeshk that he had grown into. A lilly at it's chest that pulsed with azure mana for it's crafter.
- "Hello father, it has been far too long since my last lesson! I assure you- This leg was one well earned, and only empowered my spirit through overcoming it's challenges."
- Dipping into his stance, he would feel the frigid mana around him, letting it melt into his own cyan fire. He'd put all of his weight onto the mithril pegleg and would pivot on it with a round house kick to show his balance, then quickly switching legs, he'll throw his weight back as he extends the prosthetic, a javelin of armor piercing energy beams out before he looks back to his father.
- "I have mastered seeing and reacting to the lifestream that weaves itself into the fabric of our world.. What else is there for me to learn?"
- (Revan Task)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [00:57] Lilith would follow Revan towards Theria, eager to meet the legendary Artificer once more. She would skip, entering the snowy square once more, seeing the elder standing under a statue of a dragon. A dragon of which she wants to one day talk to.
- "Greetings Dun Task. It is nice to see you once more."
- She wouldn't say anything else. Wanting to respect the Elder and not wanting to seem annoying. She was actually really freaking nervous on the inside. Really anxious about it as well. But she wants to learn more about the Fireblood, and talking with the Pope is certainly a great way to go about it.
- I need to be that fire that dispels the darkness... Fire so bright to burns away all evil...
- (Lilith Allison)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [01:05] Dun would nod steadily with a light click of his teeth, chuckling to himself in contentment as his hollow sockets glanced over the pair with an idle chitter, bobbing his helmet firmly with a steady clanking and clicking of the metal.
- "And so you have. Wounds are no shame for a warrior, but another tale and adversity to aid in the growth of your own potential my boy. It is the way of energy magic, and the way of life. Now, before we begin any lesson of advance technique, display to me your mastery of martial arts interweaved with energy magic."
- The elder of the Fireblooded would chuckle lightly, nodding firmly with a click of his teeth as he took a long, thoughtful drag from his corncob pipe.
- "Harden your arms with reinforced mana, you know the drill. It is the core of the technique to come in truth, and your mastery will be paramount in the mastery of the ultimate parrying ability."
- (Dun Task)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [01:23] Nodding readily, Revan had overcame any shame he may have faced for something he felt he wasn't fast enough for, it was a worthy sacrifice for the life of the ally he saved.
- Golden globes glancing to the corner of his eye as he tries to think of the technique he harness when fighting Thalis during his blind lesson. That first strike that Revan had delivered to his gut and dented the nyeshk breastplate.
- Putting a shoulder width's distance between his ankle and the sculpted mithril spring as he lowered his center of gravity. A deep inhale would cause the cyan aura around him to condense, then flicker and flare as he exhaled, letting it rush around him.
- Veins would bulge through bandages as his muscles swelled, his circuitry causing his muscles to harden and become as dense as black ore he wore. Bringing down his lead hand, his hips and waist would act as a sling shot to throw the fist he had cocked back to it's full extension. A wave of energy that would paralyze one's circuitry burst forth and dissipate before Revan would resort to a more defensive stance.
- "So I learned the ultimate strike, I must learn the ultimate parry ability?"
- (Revan Task)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [01:25] Lilith would just watch carefully. Observing the training between both the Father Task and Son Task. Giving Revan some space, she would step to the side.
- Perhaps she can gain some insight in controlling her own mana as she watched Revan. How he would weave the mana into his stance. She would take mental notes, even looking at Revan's peg leg and seeing how it holds up. Gaining more and more ideas for prosthetics and how she can improve it. It was interesting to watch, and she would look at the Father Task to see what he thought of it.
- Watching it was interesting... It was amazing... She has gained a newfound respect for her lover. It seems every single day he pours more and more time for his training... It's admirable indeed.
- (Lilith Allison)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [01:28] Dun would nod firmly in approval of his son's own martial growth, seeing in him alone the same black fist that had conquered Theria. He had faith in Revan's ability, but his mastery was nothing to undersell, he'd reached half of the potential Task himself had achieved in his prime.
- "Once you have harden your arm, you must straighten it before you, and manifest the iron body of full hardening. With your palm flattened completely and thrust forward, you will achieve the posture you require for the technique."
- The elder of the Fireblooded would demonstrate as he thrust his palm forth while hist stance widened, and audible popping sound emanating forth as the gauntlet was layered with hardened mana and turned into a mighty aegis.
- "From there, begin to passively gather mana into your palm and flatten it, like kneaded dough. It will factor into the the next step."
- Like a cooking show, but with violence. Theria.
- (Dun Task)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [01:46] The bandaged son of Dun would squint his eyes as the father verbally explained what he was to do. He tried to mentally visualize what he was to do, he could feel mana rushing through his limbs as if he moved to do it. Though as his father displayed the very defensive shield that Revan now had to master, he would let his mana serve as his vision.
- Witnessing the mana in the Elder Fireblooded's body, he would see the natural flow as all the mana surged straight into his arm, packing itself tightly as the arm bolted forward. With the fist uncurling and flattening into a palm, the energy would shoot out much like a clown pulling their many hankies tied together one by one. Was this a technique his father used to slap his enemies back with their own foolishness?
- It would make him wonder, Lilly and Alessia wanted to be a shield, they wish to defend the innocents of their guild, and those that they cared about. However, what if Revan could do one better? A bit of trickerty to his technique to put other's in their place, leaving him unharmed by his own resolve.
- "I.. Think I understand it.. Atleast.. Conceptually.."
- Then he would think back to the first time he wore his father's commander's uniform and attacked an alpha boar during his training hike. It was his first brush with death, and somehow his newly awakened magic saved him, using the beast's own might against him.
- "I.. Need to practice this technique.. Lilly.. Would you be willing to spar with me? However.. I need you to.. Hold nothing back against me.. I mean.. We also do not have to do this now, either."
- (Revan Task)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [01:49] Lilith would observe the Son Task once more. Taking note of his focus, of his will. It was always nice to see Revan work hard, to be able to see how much time he puts into things. So when he asked her if they were to spar, she would smile, happy to help him in any way with his training.
- "Of course! It would be disrespectful to hold back against you. Do you want to spar now though?"
- (Lilith Allison)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [01:52] Dun Task says, "That is a good place to start."
- [01:52] Dun Task says, "When you have completely mastered tbat jn combat, I will explain the rest."
- [01:57] Revan Task says, "Very well. "
