Avon crouched against the side of the building as Vernestra Rwoh launched herself through the air, the familiar purple blade of her lightsaber a welcome sight. Dr. Mkampa turned to face this new threat, and Vernestra slashed her lightsaber down toward the woman. But Dr. Mkampa was quick and leapt out of the way.

“Jedi,” Dr. Mkampa said, the word sounding like an insult.

Vernestra held a hand up, throwing the woman backward into the far-off tree line with the Force.
