You might be wondering how a Korean-American teen being raised on the other side of the world might have ended up in Seoul, South Korea, and let me tell you the story behind it is so stereotypical it's pitiful. To start with, while being raised in America, both of Dahee's parents are Korean. However, only her grandparents on her mother's side are from Korea. Her father's side still resides in Daegu, and when her father decided to fly back to Korea after a rather predictable divorce Dahee decided to move back with him. She resents her mother for deciding to divorce and split up the family, and while she misses the states does not see herself ever going back after meeting her other set of grandparents and learning more about the Korean culture she had missed out on while overseas.

A lover of the arts, Dahee prides herself in her ability to produce music, even though she doesn't do it often since joining the program. She took both violin and piano when she was little, and while she plays both greatly prefers her talent at the piano. She also has an interest in literature in recent years, preferring the company of a book and a reading playlist on her phone to anything else.

Dahee also proves to be quite the animal lover, which goes hand in hand with her motherly traits in the fact that she cannot see an animal in pain or being harmed. No matter what animal it may be, she'll try to stop and pet it or feed it. Sure, it has resulted in a great many scratches, but she loves them all the same. Cats are her favorite, but she'd never admit it out loud.

A lover of sweets, the teen is a fan of anything and everything that can make her teeth ache with cavities; she's always seen with a stick of gum or lollipop at hand, and always has her coffee with a bit too much sugar to be considered healthy.

While having a generally motherly and mature persona, Dahee is an avid fan of many childish things - stuffed animals, stickers, and bubbles to name a few. She often feels silly and childish for getting excited about these things, and has been teased for it mercilessly, but in all honesty it's one of the many endearing things about her.

To her father's distress, dahee has little to no interest in her schoolwork. she does it, because she doesn't want to disappoint and waste the money spent getting her here, but she really sees no point in many of the things they teach or want to teach. she keeps mum and pushes through, but in all honesty has no idea what exactly she plans to do in the future.

she also dislikes bugs with a passion, despite her animal loving trait, and shrieks and flails every time one is even mentioned. it's a fatal flaw of hers, and the fake bug pranks got old the minute they started. speaking of - she's easy to scare. jump scares are the worst, because she never expects them and usually ends up swinging and bruising whoever jumps at her, but scary movies and haunted houses are just as bad at getting her freaked out even with her mother act.

 running her fingers through her hair has been a nervous tick since she was young that Dahee has never quite been able to shake. While it may look natural, those who are close to Dahee will know that whenever she is anxious or nervous her hands with constantly be in her hair, combing out nonexistent tangles.

a more personal habit dahee has is pushing people away - it's simply a defense mechanism she indirectly does whether she means to or not. when she feels someone getting too close, she may avoid them without realizing it or run from her problems instead of facing them. call her a coward, but she isn't one to face her feelings.

reading, mostly, along with playing the piano, updating her playlists, and playing with her grandmother's cat whenever she visits. in her breaks, she heads home to help with the family restaurant and try her hand at cooking.

not typically girly, but a bit more dressy than casual. she prefers plain colors to flashy patterns and bright neons, and absolutely loathes heels. she lives in shorts and jeans, but from time to time will try out a skirt or plain dress. cardigans, hoodies, and sweaters are her go to on most days, with collared shirts and loose fitting tees to match.
