  9. Free 100 promo codes give away of [BK Package Disabler Samsung] (NO ROOT) - Disable any (Installed, Bloatware and System) package and service
  10. Hi everyone, We want to share 100 promo codes (free code to download paid app) of my [BK Package Disabler] app for all GalaxyNote5 members.
  11. Click [CLAIM] button to get promo code. After that, run Play Store app, tap to "Menu" (left-side) and click [Redeem] and input promo code to download app
  12. Claimed one. Thank you. PS: Love this method of giving out codes.
  13. What's the difference between the free one you already have on your Samsung phone?
  14. This app can disable any (Installed, Bloatware and System) Package and Service (No root requires). Normally, you only can disable a few apps (packages) on samsung phone, but this app can do more and more
  15. Thanks for this, just got a question. Is there a difference between this and other package disabling apps?
  16. It's has the best UI, easier to use than other and more functions
  17. So, does anyone have a list of what is safe/recommended to disable?
  18. All package in [Installed] and [Bloatware] list is safe/recommended to disable, we did test and check.
  19. Be careful when disable package in [System] list
  20. Claimed one, thank you! I was using package disabler pro before, I like your UI much better! Also love the fact that the multiple widgets can be used!
  21. A feature request on your widget though. Is it possible to have the widget color change based on if the package is disabled or not? Maybe have the widget color be red when disabled and green when enabled. Also, I think you can do away with a "check" and a "x" and just use 1 button to toggle enable/disable, especially if combine it with widget colors.
  22. Thanks for your feedback. I will research this feature, if it successful we will add to this app. As I remember It hard to do this feature
  23. /u/mr_larva Is there any way for tasker to hook into your app?
  24. Hi, we not support tasker now. May be in near furure, we will add that function

  28. Alternative to Package disabler Pro?
  29. Now that the above is dead in the water, does anyone have any recommendations on what we can use as a replacement to disable bloatwewr such as Facebook etc?
  30. You can't disable some bloatware sadly
  31. Package Disabler Pro isn't dead, they released an update a few weeks ago. You need to download it manually using the link that was provided when you first purchased the program.
  32. Hmmm, didn't get any link, it was via playstore
  33. I also never received a link. I contacted the developer and they even said there was nothing that could be done. Are you sure that was official?
  34. Someone from xda made a Windows app called Acbridge App control. Install the app on your pc & connect your phone to your pc on usb debugging mode. Launch the app control app on windows & choose the apps u want to disable.
  35. It uses adb, but is easier to use since it's an app. No need to type any codes etc.
  36. This is excellent. Of course, you need a PC to use this, whereas Package Disabler Pro was a more practical standalone phone app. But the Acbrigde PC installation and interface is quite simple and intuitive, it does not require root and it works really well. Thanks!
  37. I seen the the terms adb coming across info on this and got put off by having to do the dos thing and so glad it isn't as scary as I made it out to be.
  38. You may have to buy it again from their website but it has been upgraded to work on
  39. Thanks for this, all sorted 👏
  40. Disable it.. Its as good as deleting it.
  41. not really it still takes up unessicary space on ur phone
  42. I use ccswe . But I hate the developer keep charging for new license. But I have to buy it I really need it and it works fine.
  43. That happens because Samsung keeps revoking his developer license, and he must apply for a new license each time. Nothing he can do about that. I used CCSWE for many months and bought multiple licenses. But I finally started disabling stuff via adb. It's not as simple as using CCSWE, but it doesn't require a developer license either.
  44. Application Inspector in play store. Sort by alphabet. Find name of what you want gone.
  45. Then install adb. Command in DOS is:
  46. pm uninstall -k --user 0 com.name.here
  47. Not possible for removing GOS i guess?
  48. Just sharing something I found out recently. It doesn't solve everybody's problem but it solved my particular issue.
  49. Over the years I have specifically used Package Disabler Pro to temporarily disable the "Gear VR Service" on my Samsung Galaxy S7, so that it would not launch automatically upon docking to the headset, thus allowing it to be used as a regular Cardboard.
  50. After trying ADB App Control (works flawlessly but requires a PC) I came across a different way to disable Gear VR Service temporarily (and without a PC):
  51.
  52. Put the phone in developer mode.
  53. Allow USB debugging.
  54. Go to Settings/Apps/Gear VR Service
  55. Tap "Manage Storage"
  56. Toggle "Add icon to app list"
  57. Toggle "Allow VR API without OSIG"
  58. Toggle "Mirroring mode"
  59.
  60. Now the phone is ready to be used in the "Cardboard mode", just as I wanted. While in this mode I can still launch Gear VR apps by opening the Oculus app and tapping the specific Gear VR app I want. In a way, this allows me more flexibility than I had with Package Disabler Pro.
  61. And I can use the newly created icon to easily toggle "Allow VR API" and "Mirroring mode" ON and OFF.
