  1. Halphas would leave it's secluded area with the shade of the Wychwood, accompanied by it's ally Exo. The boy had proven to be, less of a fighter, and more, a visionary. Halphas agreed that they shared a dream, and currently, the yokai was not picky in whom it allied itself with. Halphas would continue on through the thick forest, guiding the young human along through the path.
  2.
  3. Many yokai surrounding the duo would stare upon Exo with hungry eyes and raised claws, but they were waved off by Halphas' sole arm. As the two travelled into the open, the yokai would turn to the Harukean, looking down on the small figure he had.
  4.
  5. "Tell me human, do others of your kind share your dream, numbers are key in achieving such a big goal."
  6.
  7. Halphas wanted as many aboard their plan as possible, and would be willing to travel to the darkest plains in Valmasia to acquire loyal soldiers, willing to die for the sake of Halphas' plans, whether they knew or not.
  8. (Halphas)
  9.
  10. The Harukean accompanied the Gigai in a stroll through the wildness, a hunt rather, seeking out various prey. The Harukean in particular, simply looking for means to unleash his vision upon the world. It was a dream that seemed less realistic considering the mark upon his chest, constricting his power-- But thanks to its fading, time restraints upon withering, power was fading back to its max potential.
  11.
  12. Though, there wasn't an Oracle's mark to take its place just yet, the power he harbinged could be felt, even without accurate sensing capabilities. It was power that soon came to rival that of his Yokai comrade, given time... But such was likely to change, considering he was given the time to continue surmounting in potence. Midst the slow power-up, essence compounding with every given second at an inching pace, the Harukean shown a relatively disgruntled visage, fitting for one as unfortunate and young as he was.
  13.
  14. "...I am a Harukean." He answered, growing distasteful of the 'Human' title he was given by the Yokai, "To be called a human is still... An insult to my people." He seemed to have groaned through the undertone of such repliance, settling his inverted eyes across the perimeter in the forestry-shrouded distance.
  15. (Exovaryn "Voss" Haruke)
  16.
  17. Crunch, the sound of lush wild always seemed to be much more apparent when one walked with a purporse in mind, the dull stare positoned forwards perhaps only signifying a strong course of concentration towards the uniform movement of Yokai. This would of course spark the innate curiosity of Roa, whom would consider himself adventerous in the face of questionable events, this same curiosity leading him into the vicinity of both Halphas, and the Harukean.
  18.
  19. A brief moment of silence occurs on his part, before the male's arms found itself in its usual place; crossed at the height of his chest. "Mmn.." Not even the tone seemed to be that of question, the occultist's fearless demeanor perhaps speaking of an innate ability to provide the insurance of self security.
  20.
  21. Yet, as strange as it was for him to stop here in the open of all places, it'd be apparent that Roa himself was either listening in to what was said, or awaiting the moment they'd acknowledge that someone else had made an appearance. Either way, he seemed to be rather content with how things progressed.
  22. (Roa)
  23.
  24. Halphas chuckled, 'Harukean'? the yokai had never heard of a race of people like that, but the usual reserved and docile nature of the boy was ceased in his retort, so Halphas would perhaps reconsider calling him something like 'human'. Facing infront of them, the yokai would still be quite focused on the Harukean showing his disgruntlement next to it.
  25.
  26. "Human an insult? Ha, very well, Harukean. Now how about we question this one?"
  27.
  28. Halphas' voice would trail off, and the yokai's bright red eyes would stare on Roa, who casually stood a few meters away from the two, hands crossed and an undaunted expression etched on the visage that rested calmy behind his spiky red hair.
  29.
  30. Halphas' appreciated bluntness almost as much as it appreciated boldness, and right now, Roa was exuding the latter quite well. The yokai would grin, he wasn't one to run at the sight of an occult and a monster, so he must've been the sort that would listen to the ramblings of a power hungry yokai.
  31.
  32. "What brings you to these woods, human."
  33.
  34. This time, directing it to Roa.
  35. (Halphas)
  36.
  37. This being Asura first venture into the wild on his own he was quite excited. He'd only been roaming the woods for a short time when he came upon a ghastly scene...A large yokai. He approached cautiously seeing as there appeared to be two others beside around him. They appeared to be conversing, but he couldn't quite make out what was being said. Asura dared to step closer, but knowing his dumb luck he tripped over a rock and landed right infront of the Yokai. "H-h-hi there", he managed to stammer.
  38. (Asura Mastin)
  39.
  40. The Harukean pivoted his attention over to Roa, quite aware that the new individual acknowledged by Halphas was likely of another source. He refined his perception upon said personage, locking upon the man with mild curiousity. However, he was learning... Curiousity, without preparation brought upon discomfort when unfortunate scenarios played out to him. It was not worth investigating into unless he was absolutely certain and capable of advance without suffering consequences unworthy of his innocent sin.
  41.
  42. Though, Roa failed to contain the Harukean's attention, for it shifted with the approach another persona, a young adolescent, seemingly younger than even himself. Shy, and rightfully so, in the presence of a constantly growing presence of stygian potence that was the Harukean's own, and a Gigai, injured but soon to ascend through the evolutionary ladder to obtain a far more formiddible facade.
  43.
  44. "Lost?" He queried in solemn tone, eyes locked upon Asura, "You don't seem like you're mean't for the outdoors..." He commented initially, holding his place to examine him from afar:
  45. Neon blue hair, Silver eyes from what he could see-- Though he was taller than him, and likely physically larger, the difference in their magical power could be felt even without magus sensing capabilities.
  46.
  47. "By such, I mean... Able to hold your own against, even Yokai, for that matter..."
  48. (Exovaryn "Voss" Haruke)
  49.
  50. "No reason in particular." His oceanic gaze lulls towards the one beyond the yokai for a split second, the vision of younger individuals perhaps presenting an idea of innocent formality with the beast that stood above them. However, as interesting as it may be to deduct the reasoning behind such a thing, the male had immediately casted it aside through means that proved to be most effective.
  51.
  52. "It's strange for Yokai to be playing with children." He hummed, his digits rhythmically tapping upon his bicep as he thought. From the single point of focus that rode from his gaze alone, most would perhaps feel the timid aura that properly described the occultist's mood, it perhaps being from the result of an uneventful meet prior to his arrival.
  53.
  54. Surely, this one would prove to be something worthwhile. Or, at least, worth remembering in the near future. From what he had studied, most yokai at this stage would begin to develope a rather interesting sort of conscious, be it intelligent, or simply brutal in its newfound thirst for knowledge
  55. (Roa)
  56.
  57. Halphas saw the idle chatter between the younger children and merely stared, human interaction was so strange and foreign, Halphas knew it would need decades before it could fully understand such a thing. For now, Halphas would leave Exo to do just that, with a boy even smaller and more pathetic that himself.
  58.
  59. Focusing on Roa once again, the occultist's continued icy stare only affirmed Halphas' desire to have him aid it. Clearing it's throat with a hand to it's jaw, Halphas would speak, pointing to Exo to start things off.
  60.
  61. "I've never understood the concept of children and adults, when so many of your kind take up arms regardless of such a thing. Nevertheless, would you be interested in hearing me out, human?"
  62.
  63. Halphas' face always had the quality of a really bad anime villain, a grin just too wide, revealing too many tooth, and just being more creepy than intimidating. The yokai would wait patiently for an answer, as it slowly attempted to pull Roa in!
  64. (Halphas)
  65.
  66. Asura slowing toed his way towards the boy who appeared to be about his age. Still somewhat shocked he asked, "I didn't know that yokai could speak." He realized he may have spoken loud enough for the Yokai to actually hear him and quickly muttered an apology although he was quite sure why.
  67.
  68. Once again looking at the yokai Asura decided he would test his luck and get a bit closer to get a better look at him. He thought to himself how he'd like a pair of horns like that, and the claws...The amount of damage he could do to someone with those...Would be quite amusing. This of course he kept to himself. He couldn't help it when a sinister smile creeped across his face although he quickly went back to a blank expression when he noticed the yokai looking.
  69. (Asura Mastin)
  70.
  71. He wasn't given much acknowledgement aside from what Halphas pointed ouf of him, leaving him to fall silent for the moment. He couldn't find anything more to add, considering the child he spoke towards was more interested in Halphas as was Roa in his questioning. It didn't bother Evovaryn, not in the slightest. He didn't bother taking it into account, or complaining about the matter-- It just gave him time to mildly inspect that of the personages he came across...
  72.
  73. Or so, he'd think...
  74. Time... Was Up...
  75. The searing burning sensation possessed at his chest. The curse set upon him by Malik Malpercius, his previous slaver had met the fullest extent of its longevity. The Arachnid Insignia planted across the flesh of his bare and exposed chestal region was beginning to fade. He clutched at it, wincing at the bombarding feeling building up within his chest.
  76.
  77. A tangerine glow replaced that of the previous seal, now broken! The Harukean, was unbound, unchained, and soon to unveil that of his true potence and nature all at once. Eyelids were parted, and pupils dialated-- A swift gasp of air was withdrawn and a surge of energy from within was expelled all at once. It consumed him with an ecstatic rush! Never before, was he so invigorated with power!
  78.
  79. A great wail escaped his gullet, likely to pester at the ears inviting nearby-- Perhaps, it'd pry attention away from the handicapped Yokai, and over to the Harukean nigh sectopling his power in a single swoop! The outgoing blast of Occultic energies was interlaced with the bombarding essence of Gravity magic, blasting in the outgoing halos that crawled away from the ravaging aura. Upon his chest, strange shapings took form, transmunic markings accompanied with alien characters of a seemingly runic language phased upon the flesh-- Xsperitan Runic Magic, otherwise dubbed as "Fusion Magic", unique to Harukean culture.
  80.
  81. The shout mean't for the skies above, transcended into laughter, one not suspected of a mere child. Perhaps, it was the raw power, unexpectant to mise place from his core, having surmounted to such quantity in comparison to its initial sealing. This, was a release that left him... Torn of his typically fearful facade, at least for the moment. It was understandable given what was going on now...
  82. The power that was concealed beneath the surface, had only now random exploded to meet that of everyone's knowledge instantaneously.
  83. (Exovaryn "Voss" Haruke)
  84.
  85. The gargantuan surge of power that ran throughout the Harukean's vessel left him energized, escaping the previous scenario nigh instananeously with a burst of flight. The resounding hiss provided ambience to those whom idled the lands below, easily turning their attention to eye upon a lavender stream of energy soaring high above for the south.
  86.
  87. The joyous laughter of the magi within the construct of his own malignant essence echoed throughout the immediate land below, feeling exhuberant with the excess quantity of power that surged through his system.
  88.
  89. The seal upon his chest, was finally broken-- One year's time had passed, and the Harukean was capable of relinquishing his full power upon the world around him! Suddenly, his dreams fabricated so many months prior became a possibility! No, that was not enough.. Chances and possibilities mean't nothing... He was determined to make it a reality!
  90.
  91. But first, before he could gather... Before he could build...
  92. He'd need to prepare! He needed to fix up loose ends. He needed... To claim and assert.. His... Dominance.
  93. From overhead the crackle of an abrupt end to his unmastered flight lead to his descent to the earth below, gradually falling with gravity well fluxing their push and pull to irregularrly drop him to the grounds below, leaving him undamaged by the fall, but fallen to a knee and open palm.
  94.
  95. Where he landed, was in the midst of a small bandit camp within the northern prarries--
  96. A mere trio of tents surrounding a campfire where men actively gathered in various garb thefted from personages and travelers they ran into around the general area.
  97.
  98. With his rise to his feet, and their attention honed upon him, assumptions turned for the worst. These bandits... Thought he was a form of police force? Someone whom dedicated his life to punishing crime? Here to arrest them and turn them in to authorities?
  99.
  100. No. Typically, magi and patrolling glacium turned out to be extremists, inflicting the death penalty without trial nor court to rightfully accused those of banditry life. Their immediate hostilities in the form of risen swords and readied stances, were well justified-- Exovaryn however, answered their defensive stature with nothing but a grin, slowly encroaching upon their camp without words presented prompt to his arrival nor further display of his power.
  101.
  102. Though, as the numbers portrayed themselves out to him, no greater than six in total from what he could speculate, their masses accumulated together in preperation to swarm the known magus that provided a potential threat, he slowed down, and parted lips to speak out to them.
  103.
  104. "You, outlaws of these lands... Hunted and outcasted from your homes. Hear me out, The Gods of Fate brought me here to... Save you, from your own , or once aligned people." He started, "Listen to me, and I can help you. I can save you and give you something better than this. Better for all of us." He assured, though, this was harder to take into consideration, considering his age. "Other Glacium and magi wouldn't take a second's notice to cut you down, but I, want to give you a chance for something greater than that fate." He offered-- The hyped Harukean's speech was about the begin...
