  1. @5british5 The root of the problem needs to be tackled first. The illegal immigrants fall into the follow groups, sex trafficking, drugs, and/or a better life. Yet everyone is searching for a better life. A lot of them are hopeless and helpless. The news does not report the kids/teens coming over by freight or drugs coming by plane. We only see what is going on at the wall. Building a wall is turning a blind eye to the problem. The main issue is with violence & corruption in the people and government over there. There are more drugs/money & sex sold that come over by boat or plane and have very little to do with the wall. What you are seeing at the wall is just a trickling down of a bigger problem that has to be solved in the country itself, not by building a wall. This is intermingled with their government. It's like the middle east over there. People are getting shot, and just drying in the street dead. It's a very scary place to be right now. It's why we are seeing so much activity at the wall. I would leave for a better life too. A state of emergency needs to be declared and the national guard needs to be sent down there to clean up the corruption in Mexico and their government. Then a wall would not need to be built. A wall does not solve the problem of illegal immigrants, it turns a blind eye to the reasons they are coming over in the first place and escalates/makes situations worse later down the road.
