Once more across the planet Earth, an army of magical machinations with the appearance of ice golems and the like patrol the streets and lands. Should you accept the offering of the sheet of ice from them, you'll find another message etched into the ice reads,

'In roughly two years time, I will be hosting a tournament of sorts -- I call this 'The Black Magic Games.' This will not be like the overly polite and ultimately pointless Budokai. Killing is not only allowed, but it is encouraged. I am in need of an heir, a right hand, if you will. I will train any interested in the arcane on the basics, but anything more is solely reserved for my true pupil and heir. If you understand that true greatness and power does not come without risk, if you're willing to risk your life to ascend to new heights in the arcane, then I invite you to play the game when it arrives.
