If she got warned by someone she'd get upset and exclaim that; "Doves are living beings too!" but despite being scolded for her behavior she'd do it every day, and she was well known around those parts.

She continues to explain the course of events that led to the break by saying that on the 14th was Valentines and then on the 15th her throat finally broke down from yesterdays events. She rephrases herself a bit to say that it was already in shambles before but before that day she was able to somehow subdue her symptoms by taking various medicines for it but ultimately even that stopped being effective, and a bitter decision she realized that it would be for the best to take a break. Previously she did take a break for about three days for the same issue and she feared that if she rests again for a short time then she'll probably end up having to rest again after a while, so she figured it would probably be for the best to rest until it was completely healed. Initially she said that by some means it will maybe take 2-3 days of rest, but her throat was far more damaged than she anticipated it to be.
Before going to Noel's studio she did go to the hospital and had her throat checked out by the doctor, the procedure is when they use a camera that is insert via your nose, and that procedure was a lot longer than she expected. All the while looking with the camera the doctor would tell her to do various things like swallow, or cough and Pekora felt like it was never this lengthy and that it was like he was torturing her.

Turns out he was filming the insides of her throat and would show it to her afterwards, where swellings could be seen which he explained as the reason for her condition. Pekora then trying to sound rather cool explained that her work depends on her using her voice and the doctor then deduces that she is in this situation because she doesn't properly rest right? Pekora then tries to claim that she rests if she needs to but that she tries to work every day as much as she can, to which the doctor says that since this won't heal if you don't rest, and if you won't take breaks by yourself then I'll issue a "Doctor's Stop".
She tells the doctor it won't be necessary to go that far and that she'll think about resting. But having been told that the doctor was considering stopping her from working she realized that her damage must be really severe and realized it was time to take a break.

So from that doctor's visit she started her week long break, and for the first three days she was constantly with the feeling of wanting to stream, lamenting over the fact that she managed to mess up her throat. That feeling of regret made her vow that once her throat heals this time she definitely won't ever go on a long break again, so this time she has to fully heal her throat. So during her break she'd speak as little as she possibly could and thus she watched Netflix, read manga, and went to the cinema. Which causes her to say that she finally watched the Jujutsu Kaisen movie, she already knew about the story but found it a lot of fun and she finally understood the reason why the main character is compared to Shinji(Evangelion) and sure the voice actor was the same but Pekora felt like the lines he had in the movie too was similar to Shinji. Which leads her to say that she saw somewhere that the author seems like a fan of Evangelion and that the series was made with Eva as a mindset, thus the voice actor also being the same, and on the subject of voice actors she did get a feeling that Rika was voiced by Kana Hanazawa since the voice was so cute and was right on that despite her not being so good at recognizing voice actors in general.

She wants everyone else to watch it since she had a lot of fun and is suddenly reminded of another thing and says that this is a confidential conversation, and continues to say that while she does like Gojo Satoru, this time while watching the movie she fell in love with someone else. So she asks the chat who was it that she fell in love with? She gives a hint which is that if they were to consider Pekora's usual tastes and inclinations then it should be easy, however it was in the movie that she fell in love, in the regular series she understood him being seen as a popular character but he wasn't really to Pekora's taste then, but the moment she saw the movie she thought he looked super cool.
She sees that some people are getting it right and then reveals the answer as Inumaki Toge. She says that his movie look*, in particular his hairstyle with that spiky style, was just perfectly in line with her tastes. The shock of seeing him was if she was struck by lightning right there in the cinema. The chat laughs at her type being yet another character with the spiky hairstyle, and she continues to say that while she did find him to be a good character when reading the manga she didn't really like him all that much and still preferred Gojo but when she saw him in the movie she immediately removed Gojo from her "Hot guy ranking" list.

She gets into the topic of what she did during the break again and once more reflects on that a week long break is really massive, she asserts that it was a very, very long time since she took a break for this long and while she had some work to do here and there like recordings and such, but by large her days were such that she was free to do whatever she wanted. During those days she'd think about what to do that wouldn't require her to strain her throat and realized that there are a lot of things one can do that doesn't use ones voice, so for example she rewatched The Walking Dead on Netflix which she had seen a few years prior, re-reading One Piece again, and also she watched the Parasite movie* yesterday which was a lot of fun.

Her initial interest in the movie wasn't all that high, she figured she could at least watch it a bit since she has free time now and it caused quite the buzz and if it turns out to be so-so she could just turn it off, but somewhere around the middle she started to get interested in the events and from there she only got more and more amazed culminating in an interesting ending. So she does recommend it to whoever has Netflix. What got her to remember that she has yet to watch the Parasite movie was that she watched some South Korean zombie drama prior.

That something was to go eat at a ramen shop in the middle of the night, so she searched for one but in the end didn't commit to it. The nousagi tease her by saying they have to work on the PekoMari quota and that they were just business after all huh, Pekora laughs at both and tells them that isn't the case.
She lets on that they have talked about looking for a good game to play together during the off-collab, their idea is to do something like a video game showdown.

After catching 222 cats she says that she has something to announce to the nousagi, as a playmate for Goro-nyan and because cats are simply too cute they have welcomed a second cat named Mimi-chan(A Minuet) into their family. She named it Mimi because of how her meow sounds like "Mii" and they actually got her almost over a month ago so this announcement is a bit late.

Start of the C-part

A nousagi asks if Mimi is getting along well with Goro-nyan and Pekora says that one way or another they do, but at the start of their interaction Goro let out his first hiss something he has not done up until that point. Prior to Goro hissing, Mimi had let out her own hiss towards Goro because he had been curious about her and was about to touch her and it was such a strong hiss that Goro too reacted in kind although after that they haven't hissed at each other anymore and are getting along.
Pekora says that Goro really feels like an older brother towards Mimi nowadays, like he is watching over her. And speaking of Mimi she is really like a baby still, like when she sits down in the living room, or lying on top of your thighs, she is even so small that she can get up and ride on her shoulder.

She brings up a picture* that she wants to show the nousagi and just looking at it herself she starts laughing, wondering why it is that Goro looks so strange in photos. She brings up the picture which has Goro and Mimi lying close to each other and Goro's face is as ever as old man looking and Pekora laughs at this and says that his photo genes are really bad, he is cute but whenever she takes a picture of him he'll in general look like an old man.
Speaking of Goro ever since Mimi arrived he has started to come to her and lay down in her lap whenever he hears her using her phone during the morning hours, and when he does she'll stroke his chin and head and he'll look very pleased. She brings up that this guy is only ever this sweet when it is just the two of them, whenever her family is around like her mother then it is like he gets shy and won't approach but for example during morning when he notices that Pekora is awake he'll come to her room as if asking her to pet him and she'll give in and do so because it is only during times like these he'll be this affectionate.

Since she got the question asking if her cat allergy is doing alright she excitedly and in a surprised manner says that with Mimi her allergy doesn't seem to flare up at all and it might be because she is taking her allergy medicine but when it comes to Goro the reaction is still rather strong.
Personality wise Mimi is very affection seeking, like she'll be lying on her shoulders, and there have been times where Pekora has been just flopped down and Mimi has come and laid down on her back and fallen asleep, Pekora can't think of a flaw she has although she does come up with something that isn't really a flaw she has but Goro tends to lick her so much that she'll stink.

She laughs at that and continues by saying that Goro will groom her a lot and it sounds as if Mimi is trying to tell him off by meowing whenever he does, aside from Goro grooming her a lot there is also her eating habits. She thinks a bit on how she should phrase this and says that while they do give her the correct amount of food every day as they should her eating style is as if nobody is letting her eat at all. Furthermore she'll go as far as to eat Goro's food as well, so during the times they give Goro food they'll keep Mimi in her cage until he is done, then if it happens that they forget about his food and open the cage then she'll beeline straight for whatever food remains and just devour it and Pekora explains it as if she is crying while eating, scaring her a bit at this display of gluttony and saying that she is completely different from Goro in terms of personality too.

Despite her having such a spoiled cute side to her, her gluttony is the only thing that is her drawback and the noise she makes as she eats is crazy enough that she'd like the nousagi to hear it. Other than that she would be the perfect girl as that is her only flaw, furthermore she explains that unlike Goro who really feels like a cat should, being very whimsical and independent like he'll do stuff on his terms and if he doesn't like something he'll show it, Mimi is different, perhaps it is because she still doesn't understand that sense of independency so Pekora will hug her and place her in her lap and stroke her and Mimi will just happily receive it as if saying that; "I'm alright with you doing anything to me". She is a cat that just entrusts herself to you.
So to summarize Mimi's flaw is her gluttony and Goro's flaw is his poor photo genes but even with those two aspects included she loves them both.

Questions come in asking for the details regarding why and how they decided on getting Mimi and Pekora begins to explain that usually she'll be at home because of how her work is but there are plenty of occasions where she'll be very busy, having to go out almost every day, doing recordings and whatnot, and her mother too often has stuff to do outside. So since they are a family that is often not at home except for when they return closer to the evening, which made her think about loneliness and gives an example that for herself, she doesn't feel lonely because she has the nousagi but is Goro alright being alone during these times when nobody is home? It made her start considering if giving him someone to play with wouldn't make him happy.

She realizes that this will probably just be a case of her human ego acting up but she thinks that since they keep Goro inside at all times then it means that he hasn't seen anything of the outside world except for what he can see from the windows and she wonders if that is fun for him, which is why she'd like to show him all kinds of scenery outside. She brings up that she bought a harness not long ago for the purpose of training him to be on a leash, although she has been busy enough that she hasn't gotten to it yet, and if it turns out he doesn't dislike the idea then she'd like to go out with him and show him a lot of stuff. Despite knowing that cats and humans are different and that she cannot know what it is that he really feels, she gets the feeling that just being inside their home at all times depresses him, and on that note what about getting a second cat early on in his life that he can play with during those times they aren't at home or can't play with him themselves.
She brought this up with her family to hear their thoughts, wondering if it might be too hasty and of course he is still not a year old so her Mother suggested that once he becomes a year old then it could be ok but if it was a cat similar to Goro then she too wouldn't be against the idea. Pekora reflects on that it was a really difficult conversation to have, and while it again might just be a case of Pekora's ego speaking she still felt that wouldn't it be good for Goro to have, not a friend, but a sibling of sorts.

She brings up that there have been several instances in her life that made her glad that she had older brothers so she thinks having siblings would be a good thing which was one of her arguments for this family discussion that did last several months. It still wasn't easy to come to a decision and stuff like, what if we decide on getting another cat and it turns out it and Goro doesn't get along, what will we do then? But Pekora argued that with Goro's personality she thinks that he wouldn't start fights and would rather get along well with the new cat. And after a lot of discussion they eventually settled on attempting the idea of getting a second cat.
Which brings her to elaborate on their first encounter that led to them both hissing at each other. Mimi was in her cage and Goro being curious as to who this new cat was would stick his paw into the cage quite intensely which seemed to frighten Mimi making her hiss at Goro, who in turn hissed back at her. At that moment Pekora was afraid that it was a sign they wouldn't get a long but thankfully that didn't turn out to be the case.

She is a bit worried about one thing which is that Goro is rather large compared to Mimi so she hopes that he won't squash her. Because he does lick her a lot, if that is because he is grooming her or what she isn't sure, but she gets practically drenched. Which is whenever she hears Mimi meow out she'll call out Goro's name which will surprise him as if thinking; "Oh crap, I'll be scolded" then he escapes and then when Pekora goes to check on Mimi she is often just drenched and stinks because of Goro's saliva. But in the end Pekora will just think; "Ah well Mimi, do your best to endure" and laughs, but Mimi has been chasing down Goro a few times as well she mentions.

She starts laughing at the picture* she is showing on screen as she just realizes that it looks like Goro is using Mimi as a pillow, and that brings her to mention that Goro has really gotten big. She explains that Mimi was very tiny even from the time that they bought her at the store, which for the record was not the same place but the same chain as Goro, she has grown a bit since they bought her but even when comparing age their sizes are considerably different. She scolds Goro a bit for using Mimi as a pillow despite being so heavy himself and that Pekora just took the picture without further thinking about it because they looked cute. She brings up again that Goro really becomes ugly cute when you take pictures of him and that outside of pictures he is really cute. Mimi however always looks cute and there is one in particular she has, while she explains that her phone is currently filled with Mimi pictures.
She says that they didn't aim for the same chain when getting Mimi and that they went to various pet shops first before deciding and it just so happened to be the same chain when they finally did, which made her inclined to name her "Destiny" at first because of said fated encounter, the chat laughs hard and calls it lame and she defends herself by saying it isn't.

She beings talking about the day they bought Mimi and says that they went to four different pet shops. The first one was a rather luxorious-ish type of store but the cats there didn't suit Pekora's taste. The second one was where Mimi was and she did react on her being very cute and talked about that with her Mother but she felt like the color of her fur was too similar to Goro so perhaps going for someone with a different color would be for the best, and sure when you line them up like in the picture then it is completely different but at the time Pekora felt like the color was similar.
So with that in mind they decided on looking for something else and went to the third shop which was also a place which didn't really suit Pekora's taste. The fourth store there was another Minuet(Mimi's race) that had white fur and while she did think that Goro's cream like color does look a bit like white, this white fured Minuet was a lot more different in color than Mimi and this cat had that beautiful cute style to her whereas Mimi is more on the cute side. Which leads her to ask the chat what do they think was no good about this? The shop clerk, Pekora seriously did not like the clerk that attended them. And it isn't an exaggeration to say that she didn't choose that Minuet because of how the clerk was because if that clerk wasn't as bad as they were then Pekora would probably not have gotten Mimi.

She continues by giving a likely explanation for the clerks behavior by saying that there are probably a lot of customers who go to pet shops, looks at a bunch of pets sounding like they are going to get one, and in the end decide on not doing so. So when Pekora was checking out this Minuet finding it to be very cute the clerk would be there to agree with her and upon Pekora saying she is currently looking for a cat to bring home the clerk would suggest her try holding it. So far so good Pekora says and explains that the Minuet seemed to be easily affectionate with people which Pekora found cute and it was here the clerk said; "So! what do you think, should we just decide on this one?", Pekora explains that it was a pretty big store so there were a lot of other cats to look at and she responded to the clerk that she'd like to look at the other ones before making a decision.
When Pekora told the clerk that they disagreed with that and said that it would probably be good to go for this cat right away, since they think it would be a good match for her. Basically she started to become very coercive towards Pekora, and that was scary for her because this is her picking a family member so it is something one should carefully pick and she did honestly want to try holding the other cats as well.

So upon, once again stating her desire to look at other cats, the clerk would bring up that there are a lot of customers like her who want to check out all kinds of animals in the store and seemingly be indecisive, and Pekora once again would point out that; "Well that is true after all it is a family member one is choosing" and the clerk would agree and would once again attempt to sell this cat to Pekora by bringing up its good points and once again Pekora would respectfully ask to check out other cats too, and how many times do they think she said it? Around 5 times Pekora thinks.
Since her mother was there with her she'd eventually step in and comment on how cute the Minuet was and ask Pekora if she isn't going to check out the other cats too and with that support Pekora would once again ask the clerk if that would be alright, and finally the clerk would give in and place the Minuet back into cage and introduce the other cats in the store.

All the cats she checked out were cute and including the first Minuet she held three cats, the Minuet, a Scottish Fold, and one more she forgot the name of and she was seriously having issues deciding since they would have to get along with Goro too so she'd have to think about her decision with him in mind, and because of that she told the clerk that there is actually another cat at home so if possible she'd like a cat that would get along with him.
To which the clerk explained that if they have a male cat then getting a female cat would be best as a female and male cat have better combability, and among the three cats she checked out two of them were females along with another Minuet they found. From this the clerk would again get rather forceful asking her which of these three she wants to pick and even suggesting that they should first exclude one of the three options so they are left with two.
Pekora didn't enjoy this sort of forcing either as she thought to herself that she'd like for the clerk to just let her think about it some more, and the clerk continued by asking if they have any preferences for long fur or short fur. And when Pekora would point out that Goro has long fur and having two with long fur might be a bit difficult the clerk would quickly jump on that thread suggesting her a short furred one but Pekora still found the Minuet cute despite also having long fur.

So with this she'd start to contemplate again and once she did the clerk would again say something like; "Which one should we pick, lets decide now". Pekora seriously hates being stressed into buying something and even if she she also hates being called out by store clerks when looking at clothes, it is especially bad during times like these when she is choosing a family member, so she really doesn't want to make a decision while stressed. She didn't know what to do and was lamenting over having to feel this bad when she came here for the purpose of getting another family member, eventually she consulted a bit with her mother and said that she personally really don't like this clerk and that she doesn't want to be stressed into making a decision, but she still would like to get a cat today. Her mother agreed with her that being stressed into making a decision like this really isn't good, Pekora mentions that she had Mimi in her head all the while the clerk was talking about the white Minuet, remembering that Mimi was so small and cute and if she were to pick her then she'd likely not be left with any lasting displeasure.
Pekora then says that you shouldn't really resent shop clerks for this since it is just business right but when it comes to her she simply can't get past that feeling. So together with her mother they went up to the clerk and despite the clerk asking if they've decided, Pekora would apologize and along their day of checking out different stores there was this one Minuet that she'd like to check out again. Pekora here says that she never did take a picture of Mimi so she can't actually remember how she looked which worried her as she was asking the clerk if she could take a picture of the white Minuet from earlier and they just want to go back there and compare a bit with this Minuet.

So they went back to the second store and once they entered her eyes met with Mimi and it was at that point Pekora realized that she liked her, and then after hearing her cute meow she told the clerk there that they'd like this cat. It was all transmitted when their eyes met causing her to make the instant decision; "This is the one". The chat says that it sounds like a fated encounter and that is precisely why Pekora wanted to name her Destiny and then she sulks over the chat calling it lame earlier. But actually Pekora too thought that it was lame so she went with Mimi because of how her meowing sounds like a "Mii".
At first both Pekora and her mother would say that Goro is still number one, but Pekora eventually went into finding them both to be number one whereas her mother would confidently say to Mimi that surely she cannot win over Goro's cuteness but these days her mother is lovestruck by Mimi.

And Pekora would say that she does like Gojo(Blindfold) but it isn't that character, the one she thought was cool was in the movie, so even if he shows up in the anime then he doesn't have the hairstyle that is to Pekora's preference. Being told she wouldn't be able to see the character her mother dejectedly said; "Ah, I see..."
