4-8Live has always been about the 4-8Family, but when it comes to the actual content of the channel, it's always been about challenging myself. Whether it be breaking records, doing crazy FFVII challenges, or doing game marathons, I've always strived to do things that I thought I couldn't do in order to show the family that with determination anything is possible. So once again I'll be doing something new to further push my limits.

I've decided to start playing Celeste as my main speed game. Celeste is a very difficult precision platformer and as a speedrun is a very input heavy and trick heavy game. At this time there are 155 people currently running the game; I'm aiming to beat them all. I'm going to take this run seriously and do my best to climb the ranks with you guys as my support.

I'll be doing almost all of my practice and routing on stream, so if you are curious to see how a speedrun is created from the ground up, here's your chance to watch my journey. I've also placed an input viewer on the stream to show you the inputs on my controller during runs. I'll be running the game at the normal speedrun times, Monday and Tuesday mornings, and as I get more serious with the run I may start running it everyday for just an hour or so to keep it fresh in my mind.

I would sincerely appreciate any support you can give me as I fail and as I succeed at this run, speedrunning can be frustrating at times but it is always much easier with you guys cheering me on!
