- <aberrantArtificer> You reach down to move the sand out of the way, and you find two tan things, roughly the same color as the sand, leap out and lunge at you! They both narrowly miss you, landing in the sand behind you.
- <aberrantArtificer> You turn around to see what they are, and you see two small creatures with teeth and claws . One of them seems scaley with two heads. Its orangey-tan scales glint in the bright sun, and the eyes on both of its heads seem to glow brightly, crackling with energy.
- <aberrantArtificer> The other one seems to have an incredibly goofy expression on its face, and its body is made of a bunch of segmented horizontal rings.
- <aberrantArtificer> The rings are spinning around quickly and the colored lights they are covered in blink brightly. They both hiss at you as the wind and sand whip around the three of you and the strange patch of ground continues to glitch.

- <Amelia> I slide the dagger behind my back and hold it there.

- <Amelia_Marshall> You use your free hand to look into your backpack for some sort of distraction. Anything you can use to toss to confuse them.
- <aberrantArtificer> You do so. The two headed creature advances slowly towards you
- <Amelia_Marshall> You find a piece of gum. The wrapper seems to reflect in the light.
- <Amelia_Marshall> You toss it to your left, a couple feet away.

- <aberrantArtificer> It seems to be another one of those creatures. Sand-orange like all the rest, but.... something is different about this one.
- <aberrantArtificer> It has hair.
- <aberrantArtificer> And it's holding a gavel.
- <Amelia_Marshall> You stop dead in your tracks.
- <aberrantArtificer> It looks up to you, and you see your own face staring at you with tears running down its face.
- <aberrantArtificer> It's almost like looking in a mirror, but with a massive fanged mouth and no nose......and well orange.
- <Amelia_Marshall> You freeze and take a step back.
- <Amelia_Marshall> "What the hell... what are you?!"
- <aberrantArtificer> It doesn't answer, instead continuing to bawl and waddling towards you with its arms outstretched
- <Amelia_Marshall> You are scared.
- <Amelia_Marshall> You walk back at the same pace it walks toward you.
- <aberrantArtificer> It continues to follow you.
- <Amelia_Marshall> You hold out your gavel.
- <Amelia_Marshall> "You look like those others...but like me. Don't come closer."
- <aberrantArtificer> It ignores you and proceeds to continuing crying, picking up its pace towards you
- <aberrantArtificer> It stumbles for a moment, falling to the ground
- <Amelia_Marshall> You stop moving, and put your hand on the wound on your leg.
- <aberrantArtificer> The bleeding isn't actually as bad as you thought it was. That's good. Pretty similar to the other bites and scratches you have, but a bit deeper
- <aberrantArtificer> The creature is slowly picking itself up off the ground
- <Amelia_Marshall> You use Scan 1
- <aberrantArtificer> Make a psi roll

- <aberrantArtificer> The creature is currently an emotional mess. You sense a mixture of pure hatred and intent to murder you, but also a great deal of fear and confusion and not wanting to hurt you.
- <aberrantArtificer> It seems incredibly torn as to what to do, and is instead halfheartedly running towards you and crying its eyes out
- <aberrantArtificer> If it reaches you, part of it wants to bite your neck and make it bleed horribly, and part of it wants to give you a hug.
- <aberrantArtificer> Your scan then fades.
- <Amelia_Marshall> You walk toward the imp, and put your hands on it's shoulders. If it wants to hurt you, you can push it back.
- <aberrantArtificer> It mostly just stands and watches you as you do, occasionally looking at your outstretched arms in confusion.
- <Amelia_Marshall> You attempt a smile, to show that you will not hurt it, if it does not hurt you.
- <aberrantArtificer> It continues bawling
- <Amelia_Marshall> "Why are you crying? Can you understand me?"
- <aberrantArtificer> It looks very confused and sort of shakes its head no and yes at the same time

- <aberrantArtificer> The creature's grip on your torso tightens and it doesn't respond.
- <Amelia_Marshall> You attempt to pry it from you.
- <aberrantArtificer> Make a strength check
