The Map Confirmed

As you put your things away before settling into bed, Koth already snoring loudly from the cot aside you, you pull out the small, tattered map with the upmost carefulness you can muster as to not rip or tear the parchment. Just as you had thought; the land marks all matched up. On the ride over you had grown suspicious with the familiarity of some of the large hills and small bodies of water, but now that you sit in the small town of Andurin, with the forest sitting aside you, you know it can not be a mistake. The shadows you seek are said to be buried in a ruin out in the old woods. This map is over an age old, and the ruins in the woods may not be there any longer, but this is your only clue to what the sun has guided you to. As you doze off, your brief dreams are visions of a warm light, filling you with a sense of glee you have not felt in a long time. Then, suddenly, piercing the night, is an explosion.
