1- Do you mean I need to use 3 commands?
  Yes, you should use all three command in order to work, the 1st command can be a impulse command block and be used only once, however , it is recommended to put all three in repeat mode and powered by either a redstone block or always active (not recommended)

2- Why can't you make it a one-command thing?
     I did this just to kill time, so, it is very rudimental, slo, I'm not looking foward to do so

6- How do I use this command?
    First, you need a command block, you can get it in creative via /give @pcommand_block . Then, you insert 3 repeat command blocks (or a repeat and 2 chain linked together) You need to be in 1.9 to do so. The order doesn't matter, you may put many command blocks with the 1st and 3rd commands, to speed up, placing multiple times the 2nd one will just increase lag.

7- How can I make the "virus" spread further?
   You simply need to increase the number "100" in the 2nd command

8- How can I stop it?
   Supposing you accidentally put this in the wrong world, you'll need to stop the commands from spawning more commands or spawning redstone blocks. You can stop it from spreading by disabling the 2nd command, and then, use /fill to destroy the command blocks. I suggest using /fill ~10 ~10 ~10 ~-10 ~-10 ~-10 air 0 replace repeat_command_block
