- Needlespit is an independent experimental rhythmic noise project from Phoenix, Arizona. Existing as a rejection of the "dancefloor" tropes that pervade modern industrial music, Needlespit is purposefully challenging on the ears, fusing elements of rhythmic noise, harsh noise and power electronics with influences from black metal and industrial metal.
- I, the man behind that project, am not a happy person, and the music I make doesn't come from a happy place. I've had to see the worst in both myself and the world around me many times throughout my life, and the negative viewpoints I share through the music I make are a reflection of things I've seen in reality. Personal and social themes are addressed in everything I do under the Needlespit name, often through the darkest and bleakest of metaphors. I refuse to write anything meaningless for this project.
- There is no agenda to this music beyond personal interest; I make it because it speaks to me, not so that it can speak to anyone else.
