- Don't bother talking to trainers, you will get the animation anyway
- Delete your save file
- English as language
- Time starts upon selecting New Game

NEW GAME
- Choose the boy
- Give yourself any 1-character name

MELEMELE ISLAND/IKI TOWN ~ ISLAND 1
- Go to Options and click on the right arrow for all options
- Leave your room, mash through cutscene, head back to room, go to box and receive your Bag
- Leave your room, mash through cutscene, go outside
- Follow Kukui to the left and go through Route 1
- There will be several cutscenes, enjoy your torture
- After the cutscene where Lillie stuffs Nebby in her bag, SAVE (you will use this as your starter reset point)
- DON'T nickname Popplio
- Reset for 12+ Special Attack; play around -Sp.Def, play around bad Speed
- Refresh immediately after checking stats (3 beans, 6 rubs alternating between nose and top of head)
- Head south to Route 1 and fight Rival 1
- Hau 1: Water Gun x2 Litten
	> Can Pound Litten with good Water Gun roll

IKI TOWN FESTIVAL FESTIVAL
- Mash through more cutscenes, then head east to Route 2
- Enjoy Pikipek tutorial
- Catch forced Pikipek encounter by throwing a Pokeball
- Continue to run up, running from all encounters
- Youngster Jimmy: Water Gun x2 Rattata
	> Rattata outspeeds if low Speed
- Dodge trainers by running around them in the grass
- Exit route, mash through cutscene and fight Hau
- Hau 2: Water Gun x2-3 Pichu, Water Gun x1-2 Litten
	> Litten is 15/16 to do 5 with scratch until 7 neutral Defense, then is 15/16 to do 4

TRAINER SCHOOL
- Mash through cutscene, run southwest and hop ledge to get to Prof. Kukui's lab
- Mash through cutscene, leave house and go up through grass, avoiding trainers
- Head west to go through Pokemon Center tutorial
- Deposit Pikipek, Refresh (3 beans, 3 alternating rubs), grab Candy from left counter
- Leave Center and run west to Trainer School, mash through cutscenes
- Head to the left and go through the fence
- Youngster Joey: Water Gun x2 Metapod
- Go inside the school and fight the girl under the stairs
- Preschooler Mia: Water Gun + Disarming Voice Bonsly
	> Water Gun x2 if awful first roll
- Leave from below and run to the right side of the building
- Young Athlete Hiromi: Water Gun x2 Pikipek
- Potion after fight if below half HP, run west to the court and fight Joseph
- Rising Star Joseph: Water Gun x3 Grimer
	> If 13 or less Speed after this fight, you are slower than Magnemite
	> If 14, you are speedtied with Magnemite
- Heal to full by talking to Lillie if not manipping Torrent
- Go into school, go upstairs, safety save?  Fight Emily
- Teacher Emily: Water Gun x2-3 Magnemite, Potion if below 8 HP, Disarming Voice + Water Gun Meowth
	> Magnemite can deal up to 20 damage if Special Defense is below 16 minus nature (7/8 to deal 18)
		~ Normally does 14 with a 1/16 chance to deal 18
	> May have to Potion again if flinched
- Mash through cutscene, head west for Hau'oli City Beachfront

HAU'OLI CITY
- Mash through cutscenes then run north for more cutscenes
- When prompted, use PokeFinder but exit out immediately
- After Lillie cutscene, run to Center, grab Rare Candy from Cafe, deposit Pikipek and shop
	> Buy 14 Repels (go up to reach bottom), 5 Awakenings (?), 3 Paralyze Heals, 2 Antidotes, 3 Potions
	> Buy 22 X Sp.Atts (go up to reach bottom), 3 X Speeds, 1 X Def, 1 Guard Spec
- Make your way south of the map, going through three cutscenes in the process
- Skull Grunt: Water Gun x2 Zubat
- You get a free heal before Ilima
- Captain Ilima: X Sp.Att, Disarming Voice + Water Gun Yungoos, Water Gun (+ Water Gun) Smeargle
	> Smeargle is a very difficult range; Ilima will heal if you miss it
- Head north and leave Hau'oli City

ROUTE 2
- Use Repel [13], run left into the grass to avoid the Lass, then continue running north
- Preschooler Kaleb: Water Gun (+ Water Gun) Spearow
- Run north to activate Delibird cutscene (free heal)
- Skull Grunt: X Sp.Att, Water Gun x2 Drowzee
- After receiving the Oran Berry, continue north, carefully dodging Backpacker Ashley
- Renew Repel [12], run through bottom path
- After Center cutscene, head out and east towards Ilima

VERDANT CAVERN
- Do not renew Repel once prompted
- Go to first burrow, Water Gun x2 Yungoos
- Run north and get hit by dust cloud, Water Gun x2 Yungoos
- Run up and right across log bridge, then crawl under the right tunnel
- Grab Super Potion, then check first burrow
- Jump off ledge and go up to second burrow
- Run left to third burrow, grab the X Def, then back over log bridge to activate Team Skull cutscene
- Skull Grunt: X Sp.Att, Water Gun x2 Drowzee
- After cutscene, use a Potion, crawl under right tunnel and go to burrow, Water Gun x3-4 Gumshoos
	> Teach Aqua Jet over Growl
- Run to north exit, then run up to totem, heal to full, use Repel [11] (don't renew)
- Totem Gumshoos: Guard Spec, X Sp.Att, Water Gun Yungoos, Water Gun x2 Gumshoos
	> Check for 19 Speed after fight
- Free heal after fight
- Run to the right to avoid Yungoos fight

ROUTE 3/MELEMELE MEADOW/ROUTE 1/HAU'OLI CITY BEACHFRONT
- Go through Z Crystal cutscene, then run up and right
- Take the middle path and hug the upper wall
- Once in Melemele Meadow, use Repel [10]
- Free heal
- Hau 3: Aqua Jet to try and get Paralyzed, stall with Awakening if Pikachu is about to die
- Once out of Meadow, run south, do not renew Repel
- Hug right side of bridge to avoid rising star, pick up Super Potion
- Once on Route 1, renew Repel [9] and run to village
- After entering the village, equip an Oran Berry and turn off Exp.Share
- Hala: X Speed x1-2, X Sp.Att x2, Disarming Voice Mankey, Potion, X Sp.Att, Disarming Voice Makuhita, Disarming Voice Crabrawler
	> Use a second X Speed if lower than 19 Speed after Gumshoos; heal appropriately
	> Fake Out does 8-10 up to 5 minus Defense, 7-9 until 5 neutral, 6-8 until 17 plus, 5-7 above
	> Replace all Disarming Voices with Water Gun if in Torrent unless Sand-Attacked by Makuhita
- Once fight is over, register Tauros and run to the right through Route 1, renewing Repel [8] (don't renew after)
- Take middle path at fork after first patch of grass
- Take gated path, use a Repel [7]
- Run to the pier to activate a cutscene [piss break]

HEAHEA CITY ~ ISLAND 2
- Mash through cutscenes
- After cutscene with Lillie, go directly below and talk to woman for a Rare Candy
- Run right and up, renew Repel [6] activate cutscene and fight Dexio
- Pokemon Trainer Dexio: X Sp.Att, Disarming Voice x3 Slowpoke, Water Gun x2 (+ Aqua Jet) Espeon
	> Slowpoke does ~7 damage, Espeon does ~15 damage, heal accordingly
	> Check for 32 Speed after this fight
- Run to the right to enter Route 4

ROUTE 4/PANIOLA TOWN/PANIOLA RANCH
- Head up and around, dodging trainers along the way
- Renew Repel [5] (don't renew after this), carefully dodge cook
- Free heal
- Hau 4: Aqua Jet + Awakening stall
- Free heal
- Run up towards Paniola Ranch, hugging the left side
- After farm cutscene, hug right side while going down, then left
- Enter Day Care and talk to lady on the left to get the Hidden Power TM
	> Talk to her afterwards to check what your Hidden Power is

ROUTE 5/BROOKLET HILL
- Go back left at the fork and activate the cutscene
- Gladion 1: (X Speed,) X Sp.Att x2, Water Gun Zubat, Water Gun x2 (+ Aqua Jet) Type: Null
- Take the left path, dodging the trainers
- Use Repel [4]
- Run from the event Wishiwashis
- Renew Repel [3]
- At second pond, after examining the whirlpool, go to the bottom right corner and pick up the Scald TM
- Don't hug the bottom edge after Scald to avoid the fisherman
- Renew Repel [2] when out
- Upon entering the water, heal to full, teach Scald over Water Gun and Hidden Power over Pound
- Totem Wishiwashi: X Sp.Att, Scald solo, X Sp.Att, (Disarming Voice +) Scald Totem
	> Disarming Voice if not in Torrent
- When prompted, say yes to be taken back to the Center
- Go back into Brooklet Hill and Surf to the Rare Candy, then exit again
- Run back down to Route 4
- Don't renew Repel

ROUTE 4/ROUTE 6
- Dodge old man by going right this time
- Pokemon Breeder Amanda: Scald Lillipup, Scald Growlithe
- Once on Route 6, hug left then hug right after Super Potion pokeball to avoid the spinner
- Skull Grunt: Scald x1-2 Drowzee
	> Dies to Torrent Scald
- After fight, smash through the rocks to the lower left for a Rare Candy, hug left then enter whatever town to the right

ROYAL AVENUE/ROUTE 7/WELA VOLCANO
- Immediately head right and grab Rare Candy on tarp, then enter the Battle Royale Dome
- Battle Royale: Scald Torracat
- Head northeast to Route 7
- Head left towards Wela Volcano Park
- Use a Repel [1] (don't renew), equip Waterium Z, ascend to the Totem challenge
- Select middle option, Scald Marowak
- Select hiker, Scald (+ Aqua Jet) Magmar
- Select any option, Hydro Vortex + Aqua Jet Salazzle, Scald/Aqua Jet help
	> Salazzle is a range with Hydro Vortex
	> Consider not healing and Aqua Jetting Salandit if in Torrent
		~ Salandit is a range with Aqua Jet until 22 IV neutral/8 IV plus Attack
- After fight, register Charizard and Fly to Route 7 (mash A)
- Head up and enter Route 8

ROUTE 8
- Once on Route 8, use a Repel [0], heal to full if enough healing items
- After Colress cutscene, hug top wall until walker passed, then avoid trainers by hugging upper grass
- Unsure of best way to dodge Scientist
- Run into the Center and shop
	> Sell 6 Revives
	> Buy 11 Super Potions, 1 Escape Rope and 9 Super Repels
- Heal to full if not done yet, head south to the Lush Jungle
	> Would PC healing be faster if status as well?

LUSH JUNGLE
- After the cutscene, go to the left and pick the Tinymushroom
- Parasect: X Sp.Att x1-2, Hidden Power
	> If Hidden Power is SE, use 1 Sp.Att, otherwise use 2
	> Use Awakening if needed, but only after set up
- Go left to the next area and talk to the tree for the Mago Berry
- Fomantis: Hidden Power/Scald x2
- Go back to main area, then up to next area.  Go to bottom left patch of grass for Revival Herb
	> If Salandit was not fought, pick the wrong grass patch and fight a Fomantis
- Fomantis: Hidden Power/Scald x2
- Go back to main area, then head right to next area.  Break rock near end and pick up Miracle Seed
- Heal to full, Candy to 28, save before Lurantis
- Totem Lurantis: X Def, Scald Trumbeak, heal, X Sp.Att, heal, Hydro Vortex Lurantis
	> Use a second X Sp.Att if somehow not in Torrent?
- Once fight is done, Fly to Heahea City (bottom of map)

HEAHEA CITY/DIGLETT TUNNEL
- Go to the lab.  After cutscene, talk to Lillie then leave
- Head south to Diglett Tunnel
- Heal, use a Super Repel [8]
- Head right at the fork
- Skull Double: Scald Salandit, Hidden Power/Disarming Voice Fomantis
- Free heal
- Don't remount Tauros, exit Diglett Tunnel

ROUTE 9/AKALA OUTSKIRTS
- Hug the left and walk behind the Police Officer
- Head into the village and activate the Probopass cutscene
- Consider buying Heal Powders if really low on status items
- Head back to Route 9 and go through graveyard; renew Super Repel [7] (don't renew)
- Activate Team Skull cutscene
- Skull Grunt: Scald x1-2 Raticate
	> Check if 39 or lower Speed in this fight
- Heal if below 50 HP?
- Hug right to avoid the Blackbelt
- Plumeria: Hydro Vortex Golbat, Scald Salandit
	> Aqua Jet Salandit if in Torrent
- Free heal
- Olivia: Scald x2 Nosepass, Paralyze Heal, X Speed x1-2, heal when necessary, Disarming Voice (+ X Sp.Att) + Scald Boldore, Scald Lycanroc
	> Can Aqua Jet Nosepass turn 2 if high roll
	> If Nosepass burned, heal paralysis mmediately
	> X Speed twice if 39 or lower speed before fight
	> If 0-1 Headbutts from Boldore needed for Torrent, stall
	> If 2+ Headbutts from Boldore needed for Torrent, use an X Sp.Att
- After fight, Fly to Heahea City, then go right and say yes

AETHER CORPORATION
- Make way to elevator
- After a bunch of cutscenes, do one of the following:

- More cutscenes [piss break at boat cutscene]

MALIE CITY ~ ISLAND 3
- Free heal
- Hau 5: Aqua Jet/Awakening stall
- Free heal
- Go to the Malie Garden, mash through cutsecne, use Super Repel [6], renew until out
- Hug left side to avoid walker, make way to middle of map for cutscene
- Head to the library, go through cutscenes, go upstairs, cutscenes, leave the library and head southwest to Route 10

ROUTE 10/MOUNT HOKULANI
- Go behind first trainer, then hug bottom/left, avoiding Beauty
- Ace Trainer sprite is not a trainer here
- Renew Super Repel [5]
- Make your way northwest to bus stop sign
- Skull Grunt: Hydro Vortex Golbat
- Skull Grunt: Hydro Vortex Raticate
- Use bus stop to climb up Mount Hokulani
- Head south after cutscene and grab hidden Rare Candy
	> Don't blitz with Tauros to avoid the stretching spinner
- Use two Rare Candies to get to level 33
- Talk to Molayne (free heal)
- Molayne: X Sp.Att x2, Aqua Jet + Scald Skarmory, Scald Metang, Scald Dugtrio
	> Heal if below 47 HP?
- Enter the Observatory, head left and talk to guy behind the counter for Comet Shard
- Begin the trial
- Pokemon Center (answer), Scald Grubbin
	> If Torrent needed, stall until in Torrent
- Learn Sparkling Aria in slot 1
- Rotom, Scald Charjabug
- Charjabug, Scald Charjabug
- Totem, Hydro Vortex Totem Vikavolt
- Once trial is over, heal to full, teach Psychic over Disarming Voice and Fly to Malie City

MALIE CITY
- Head to Malie Garden
- Mash through cutsecene
- Guzma: Psychic, X Sp.Att if no drop, Psychic Golisopod, Psychic Ariados
	> Sparkling Aria Ariados if X Sp.Att used
- Receive Primarium Z crystal after cutscene
- Head south to Route 11

VARIOUS ROUTES
- Hug bottom wall
- After gate check, don't mount Tauros
- Get Mudsdale mount, register Mudsdale
- Hug left (but hug right once in chasm)
- Renew Super Repel [4] (renew until gone?)
- Mash through cutscenes, enter Center at Tapu Village to create a Fly point
	> PC heal and withdraw Pikipek
- Head to Route 15 and enter the building
- Preschooler Hunter: Sparkling Aria Elekid
- Heal, cure paralysis, before exiting building
- Skull Grunt: Sparkling Aria + Scald Drowzee
- Head back to Tapu Village, go south through Route 14
- Avoid Fisherman by hugging right wall and blitzing
- After Acerola cutscene, begin trial

- Heal to full, equip Primarium Z, Save before Mimikyu

- After trial, heal to full, hug left/bottom wall (carefully wait for fisherman) and head back to Aether House

ROUTE 15/ROUTE 16/ULA'ULA MEADOW/ROUTE 17
- Plumeria: Oceanic Operetta Golbat, Psychic Salazzle
- After cutscene, receive free Rare Candy and head west
- Ace Trainer Yuki: Scald Sandshrew, Scald Marowak
- After cutscene with Grimsley, use Sharpedo and hug left sides to avoid trainers
- Center if Pikipek was sacked in Plumeria fight
- Enter Ula'ula Meadow and go straight through to Route 17
- Go right and up, hugging the right/upper wall and going behind the Grunts, then hug left once on ground level again
- Talk to Grunts at door
- Grunt Double: X Sp.Att Sparkling Aria
	> On Pikipek's turn, use the X Sp.Att on Primarina
- Enter Po Town

PO TOWN/SHOPPING/ROUTE 15
- After cutscene, go left and crawl through
- Skull Grunt: Scald Spinarak
- Skull Grunt: Scald Grimer
- Run left, bonk in corner then hug left wall next to truck
- After truck, hug the left side until in the mansion
- Head back through and to the left and run to the mansion at the top of the map
- Head upstairs, avoid spinner, take quiz
	> 3, 2, 1, No
- Exit and re-enter the mansion, then mash through cutscene
- Guzma: X Sp.Att, Oceanic Operetta Golisopod, Sparkling Aria Ariados
	> Alternate fight with good Defense: Psychic, X Sp.Att, Psychic Golisopod, Sparkling Aria Ariados
- After cutscene, equip Mystic Water, use Escape Rope, go through another cutscene, receive a free heal
- Fly to Route 8 (Akala Island) and use the Mart
	> Sell Comet Shard

- Every trainer on the bottom floor moves.  It's awful.
- Hug the left to pass a trainer and blitz left once trainer looks right
- Hug the left corner to pass more trainers then blitz the Rare Candy
- Go up elevator and fight Faba
- Faba: X Speed, Sparkling Aria x2 Hypno
- Take elevator again, go to the right
- Employee: Sparkling Aria x2 Muk
- Employee: Scald x2 Magneton
- Employee: Sparkling Aria + Scald Porygon2
- Head to the furthest room to the right

- After the fight, talk to the computer

- Work your way north until you get to Poni Wilds
- Candy to 47, use Max Repel (renew for rest of run), head right at the fork and hug the right side
- Enjoy your cutscenes
- Register Machamp, do Strength puzzle, exit ruins
- After ruins, Fly back to Seafolk Village, head to southern most dock and go to Exeggutor Island
- Run from Exeggutor
- Go north throughout the island until you get the Moon Flute
- Go north and east, hugging the right side
- Once back at the ruins, begin cutscene with Lillie and Skull Grunts
- Skull Grunt: Moonblast Fomantis
- Skull Grunt: X Speed, Psychic Salandit, Psychic Mareanie, Psychic (+ Aqua Jet) Golbat, Moonblast Raticate, Psychic Haunter
	> Heal if poisoned
- Free heal
- Continue north and fight Hapu
- Hapu: Sparkling Aria Dugtrio, Sparkling Aria Mudsdale, heal to full, Moonblast Flygon, X Sp.Att, Sparkling Aria Gastrodon
	> If no damage taken from Dugtrio, set up an X Sp.Att on Flygon, go for Torrent and Sparkling Aria it

- Head right into cave

PONI CANYON

- Hug upper wall and blitz past trainer (she should be looking right)
- Head left, enter cave
- Use Mudsdale to avoid the trainer, exit cave
- Cross the bridge
- Free heal
- Push rocks to reach ladder
- Don't mount Tauros after the ladder, hug bottom wall
- Avoid punk girl by hugging down while she is looking left
- Receive Fairium Z
- Hug the bottom wall after receiving Fairium Z
- Cross bridges/logs/whatever and make your way to the left for the trainer gauntlet
- Ace Trainer Hiroshi: Moonblast Absol, Moonblast x3 Lapras
- Heal if below 130 HP
- Veteran Heather: X Sp.Att, X Speed, Moonblast Stoutland, Moonblast Tsareena, Sparkling Aria Klefki
