I’m not going to beat around the bush: Mikey is OOT, and Ame wins. If that’s all you care about, you don’t have to read further.

I want to commend Glob for at least being daring. “I believe with every shred of conviction left in my soul that there are more scans for proving this,” is a very bold way of starting your argument. I’m excited to get to how it plays out. Calling your opponent a “miscreant” is also high tier banter and I’m glad I judged this.

Apart from a few hilarious statements, Glob’s arguments are really solid, and anybody looking to improve their debating and tournament skills should consider this round a really strong example of largely doing things right. Ame’s responses were equally well put together, and this is generally a well done debate overall.

The OOT made my job a lot easier because I am lazy and now I get to write less. I’m unconvinced that either member of Glob’s team could win a 2v1 with any combination of Ame’s team. Regardless of the combinations, and even if the 1v1 ends in Glob’s favour, he’s still outnumbered and that’s a bad position to be in. I don’t really see too much I can add in terms of suggestions to do better, since the loss is mostly due to external factors that neither party could have taken into account.
