Thaddeus Is Up To Some shit

Erleiden: ((Bwahahahah!))
Erleiden: Thaddeus used his cellphone as a flashlight and glanced at the low percentage of his battery. He sighed angrily, Erik waddled behind him, almost startling him. “Bad dog! You don’t sneak up on daddy.” He scolded in a whisper and went down the hall towards the living room, glancing at the mess. Thaddeus sucked his teeth and went over to the window to look at the driveway and the path leading to the house that was now cracked and disheveled. “Well the driveway is fucked.”
Covet: -Eli pulled into the drive way, and climbed out of his vehicle. He'd been at the hospital most of the day, then at his parents place helping out with the damage there, before finally maing his way back to the OCH. He looked worn out and defeated, his eyes were red and puffy and his nose looked like it had been rubbed to a bright shade of raw red. He took the steps up the porch slowly, dragging his feet as he opened the door to the place seeing that it was still dark.- No power, well crap.  -he turned his head to catch a bright light from Thad's phone. He put his hand up to sheild his eyes and asked out- Thad? Adam?
Covet: [ahaha Tipi fort on the bed...I wasn't expecting for you to put it there XD like maybe downstairs or something ROFLMAO]
Erleiden: He turned away from the window and went to the television to try and shut it on to no avail. "That's just great." Thaddeus heard Eli's voice and turned his head, Erik began to bark when the door opened and went right over to it with excitement. "No, get back over here." He instructed as he lowered his phone flashlight. "It's me, Thad." He shouted to Eli in the darkness of the livingroom.
Erleiden: ((Yes! Take that!))
Erleiden: ((Fort on the bed.))
Covet: Hey, Man. Still no power here? -he greeted him and asked the obvious question with a monotoned voice. He made his way over to the couch and sat down on it slumping over to pet Erik on the head a couple of times, before just sitting there in the dark. He was mostly thankful that it was so dark, less of a chance for Thad to give him shit for being a boob.-
Erleiden: "No, I don't know if we should call somebody or tell the school. I have no idea but it's driving me crazy. I'm getting cabin fever." He muttered as he went into the kitchen. "I think I'm going to empty out the fridge before anything spoils." Thaddeus went to open the freezer box of the fridge. "I saw your squawk... Sorry about your boss." He said, not really sounding all that sad but it was worth a try.
Covet: Letting someone know at the school couldn't hurt, but I imagine it'd be the power company. The whole street has a few houses that are still out though. So it's probably a blown transistor, I'm sure they are getting to everyone as fast as they can. -he said the words almost sounding semi rehearsed as if he'd heard at least half of that phrase all day. He looked up in Thad's direction as he spoke about Ross- Oh, yeah. Thanks for your condolences.
Alexithymiaa: -Adam pushed up from the couch bed in his 'room', grabbing the flashlight he'd had with him and moving out into the common area and to the staircase. Taking the steps down carefully, he made it down to the bottom floor to hear the sounds of the voices of his housemates, turning the corner and keeping his flashlight down to the floor so he didn't shine it in anyone's eyes. "No luck yet?"-
Erleiden: He nodded his wool capped head then sputtered his pierced lips. "All this ice is melted I shoulda took it out earlier." Thaddeus muttered and whistled for Erik to come over, sitting the trays on the floor cause whatever let him drink the water, he's a dog. He needed water anyways. "Yeah I'll give the head of residency a call in the morning." He turned back to look at Eli and shrugged. "No problem. I know it sucks." He whispered and glanced into the freezer again. He heard Adam's voice and turned around again. "Nope, nothing."
Covet: Sounds good. Do you need any help in there Thad? -Eli asked trying to find any excuse to keep himself busy. Hearing Adam come down the stairs he shook his head no as Thad called out. Not entirely sure if Adam could even see him shake his head- Hey Adam.
Alexithymiaa: "This is... this is awful." His shoulders slumped down and he stepped further into the kitchen, shining his light inside the fridge to see what Thad was doing. "Oh, good idea. I tried to clean up as much as I could while it was still light out because I knew it would be difficult once it got dark. Where were ya'll last night?"-
Erleiden: Thaddeus went to turn on his flashlight on his cellphone again for as much light as possible. "Uhhh yeahh." He dragged out.  "Sure you can help out. I'm just trying to save what I can before anything spoils." He called out to Eli. "I was hoping we'd have power by now but, I guess not." Thad began to take out the lingering tubs of ice cream from the freezer. "I was at work and then the earthquake started and I ran to my car when people started looting the shop. Nothing major." He spoke in half truths, shrugging his shoulders. "Came home to see if my boys were okay. The were fighting over hiding in the pillow box in the basement."
Covet: -Eli made his way into the kitchen, seeing one of the tubs of ice cream that was half ice cream soup. He pulled open the drawer and grabbed a spoon, flopping into one of the chairs. He spoke between bites of ice cream soup that he slurped up- The comic shop was looted, and it's mostly destroyed. We lost our manager. -he sighed and took a big bite of the blob that was still partially frozen and shoved it in his mouth.-
Alexithymiaa: "Yeah... I saw your squawk. I'm real sorry, Eli." He frowned and moved to sit down in a chair beside Eli, keeping his flashlight shined into the fridge for Thad to see. "Hopefully the city will be able to return to normal soon. A lot of people must be having a real rough time. I read in the paper that a couple people were crushed in falling buildings last night."-
Erleiden: "Yeah it's pretty gruesome." He trailed off and took out some of his frozen veggies. "Charles!" He called out, imitating Magneto's voice. The brown dog scurried from his bedroom into the kitchen. "Here eat this." He demanded as he dropped the soggy celery stalk onto the floor. "Is the target at central okay? Cause we need ice, and we can keep some of this stuff in a cooler or something" Thaddeus asked the two of them.
Covet: -Eli coughed on some of the ice cream soup, and shook his head- Can we not talk about the graphic nature of everything that happened, Please? -he asked almost sounding pitiful.- I think so, if not there's a gas station there too that seemed to be okay when I was in town today.
Alexithymiaa: "I have no idea." He shifted in his seat to dig his hand into his pocket for his phone, not paying much attention to where he was shining the line as he tried to text one handed. "I'm sorry, Eli."-
Erleiden: Thad cleared his throat loudly hopefully helping in changing the subject. "I guess I could drive or something like that." He took out some frozen deli meat and cringed a little. "Well we're screwed if we don't get the stuff on ice."  He closed the freezer once he was done getting all of the cold stuffs onto the counter. He went to open the regular part of the fridge then crouched down to try and pick up Erik in the darkness, scratching behind his ear.
Covet: I don't really feel like going back into central right now, unless you guys really want me to go then I will. -he said a bit flatly, still working on the ice cream that was dying already.- But only if I can take the ice cream with me, and we pick up more cream cheese, because I really need a bagel. I'll deal with it not being toasted.
Alexithymiaa: -He looked up from his phone in his hand, his eyes moving between the two. "Hayley said that Target is open and okay so we should be able to pick up some ice from there if we need to. I don't mind running into Central for it if ya'll need me to. Might be an excuse to get out of this house, really."-
Erleiden: "Man, fucking the new Destiny came out today dude. And I can't even play it." Thaddeus whined in a low murmur and sat at the table. "Well you've been out all day, I'd guess maybe me or Adam would get some ice... Somebody's got to keep an eye on the boys so I should stay." He said as he motioned his free hand between his dogs. "Wait Hayley works at Target?" Thad asked Adam with a raise of his bushy eyebrow.
Covet: -Eli looked down at the dogs- I don't mind dog sitting for you. I'll be heading back to the room anyway so I could just have them in there with me. -he told Thad- Sorry that you can't play your game, dude. -He looked at Adam, and pulled out a few crumpled up dollar bills and handed them to him to pitch in for a couple of bags.-
Alexithymiaa: "Yeah, she does. Why?" He furrowed his brows, leaning over to take the bills from Eli. "I really don't mind going to get it, honest."-
Erleiden: He turned his head slowly to look at Eli then pursed his lips for a moment, shifting his gaze to Adam. "No reason, I just noticed you guys are really good friends..." Thad trailed off then put Erik down to waddle around with Charles. "Yeah, Eli's right. I can go with you." Thaddeus said as he nodded his head. "Charles and Erik can survive a bit without me." He cleared his throat. "Is she there right now?" He asked, his voice dropping to a whisper.
Covet: -Eli went over to the sink and tried to turn the water on, but the power was off, so no pump. He sighed and set the container on the counter- Where are their leashes at Thad? I'll take them and the trash out before we head back to the room
Alexithymiaa: -Adam dropped his voice to a completely unamoosed tone. "You don't have to come... she's not working right now." He pushed up to his feet, moving the chair into the table and fiddling with his flashlight. "How many bags of ice do you think we need?"-
Erleiden: "Nah it's okay. I can help out. It's not a problem-" He began to say before hearing that Hayley wasn't at Target at the moment. "Ohhhhh." Thad dragged out but he fucked up because he already offered to help. "It's cool, I'll still come. We should need about four bags and maybe get those foam coolers, like three of them. Then there's my cooler, that's four." He nodded. "I'll be right back with their leashes." Thaddeus said as he went into the hallway closet to get things.
Alexithymiaa: (We see through your bullshit, Thaddeus.)
Erleiden: ((Shhhhhh.))
Covet: -Eli nodded then called to the dogs- Erik, Charles are you ready to go outside to take a leak? Huh guys? -he said leaning over to pet them both getting them riled up a bit, as he gathered up the trash and got the bag tied close-
Alexithymiaa: "Yeah..." He moved through the kitchen toward the front door, grabbing his keys off the hook and pulling the door open to step out onto the front porch. "I'll meet you at my truck." He was frankly less than pleased that Thad was coming with him. Closing the door behind him, he stepped down and walked his way into the driveway, pulling open the driver's side door of his truck and sliding up into it, jamming his keys into the ignition to start the engine.-
Erleiden: ((Shhhh Adam, it's okay.))
Erleiden: He closed the hallway closet door with the two leashes in his grasp. "Here you go." He handed the leashes to Eli then looked down to his dogs. "I'll see you boys when I get back. Be good." Thaddeus said then gave Eli a nod as he went outside to the driveway and went towards Adam's truck, getting inside. "Alright, lets go." Thad said with a forced smile, waiting for him to drive off. "So since you and Hayley are good friends we should probably hang out together. We all have class together anyways, it makes sense right?" He suggested, subtley glancing at Adam
Covet: -Eli bent down to get both of the dogs attached and then grabbed the bag of trash following out with them and walking off towards the trash bin to dump the bag in before  taking both the dogs over to the patch of grass where they normally did their business. He waved at Adam and Thad once they drove off, using the same hand to stiffle a yawn-
Alexithymiaa: "I guess..." He said slowly, putting the truck in reverse and backing out of the driveway. "We do live together." Once the truck was in the street, he put it in gear and pulled away to head to Target.-
