  278. 'config.h' and 'config.mak' contain your configuration options.
  279. Note: If you alter theses files (for instance CFLAGS) MPlayer may no longer
  280. compile *** DO NOT REPORT BUGS if you tweak these files ***
  281.
  282. 'make' will now compile MPlayer and 'make install' will install it.
  283. Note: On non-Linux systems you might need to use 'gmake' instead of 'make'.
  284.
  285. Please check MTRR settings at /proc/mtrr (see DOCS/HTML/en/video.html#mtrr)
  286.
  287. NOTE: Win32 codec DLLs are not supported on your CPU (x86_64) or your
  288. operating system (Linux). You may encounter a few files that cannot
  289. be played due to missing open source video/audio codec support.
  290.
  291. Check config.log if you wonder why an autodetection failed (make sure
  292. development headers/packages are installed).
  293.
  294. NOTE: The --enable-* parameters unconditionally force options on, completely
  295. skipping autodetection. This behavior is unlike what you may be used to from
  296. autoconf-based configure scripts that can decide to override you. This greater
  297. level of control comes at a price. You may have to provide the correct compiler
  298. and linker flags yourself.
  299. If you used one of these options (except --enable-menu and similar ones that
  300. turn on internal features) and experience a compilation or linking failure,
  301. make sure you have passed the necessary compiler/linker flags to configure.
  302.
  303. If you suspect a bug, please read DOCS/HTML/en/bugreports.html.
