PERSONALITY: she's very awkward and it's because she wasn't very social growing up. it takes her awhile for her to get used to new people. but despite her awkward persona she doesn't hesitate to lead her group to the right direction. she's the mom of the group because she tries her best to give good advice to those around her, often the shoulder they all lean on at times of need. she's not the oldest member, but she most certainly acts like it by her constant mother-like teasing and embarrassment. even though she's the main dancer she often purposely dances horribly to make things funny because she's not naturally funny. like she tries so hard, but it just doesn't work. although she's sweet she will not let anyone walk over her or her members and thanks to the leader-like strong firmness, she holds her ground. most of the time she believes she's the one in wrong during dire situations and takes the blame for everything, even when it's not necessary. she is awfully competitive and uses that to push her members forward, but of course that turns our loving mother into a foul-mouthed soccer mom.

BACKGROUND: her father is of Korean descent whilst her mother is of Chinese. her mother moved from Hong Kong to Korea during college, later officially moving on after meeting her father. whilst her father is a detective her mother is a Chinese teacher at her former high school. growing up she always felt loved, but it wasn't until high school that she began the phase of self doubt and insecurities. her sister was the social one and since she wasn't as social she always clung to her sister, giving her the title of 'clingy' by fellow classmates. her korean didn't sound fluent despite being born, and it's because she always switched between cantonese and korean at home. her classmates constantly gave her heat for not being her own person. after graduation she decided to become her own separate person from her twin by auditioning at sm entertainment. she always found the evolution of music interesting and discovered that despite her awkward, clumsy moments she's quite graceful if she sets herself to it. her parents couldn't pay for dance lessons and three college tuition bills, so she tried her best to get a scholarship for dancing. eventually she did but quite dropped out to focus on training.

FAMILY:
-ahn hyungtae (father, 47. they're close because she's his first daughter, so it's sort of like a daddy's princess type of thing. he makes terrible dad jokes and embarrasses the shit out of her. he supports her and is the type to go to local concerts with a tee shirt with her name on it and a little foam finger he bought at the dollar store)
-ahn lee xiaoyan (mother, 45. she's also an embarrassment. she always claims that she sees jiyeon in herself and despite their silliness she is the one to give great advice during tough times. instead of the dad threatening the boyfriends it's her.)
-ahn hyunseok (older brother, 24. they're not really that close anymore. they were growing up but after he went to college the distance between them grew.)
-ahn jinhee (younger twin sister, 22. they're still close for twins. sometimes during interviews her sister is brought up because of how scary identical they are. they're the type where if jiyeon is academically smart and jinhee is physically smart than they switch to help one another during high school finals.)

RELATIONSHIP WITH THEM: best friends. and in the end they are dating :)

FIRST MEETING AND HIS/HER FIRST IMPRESSIONS: they met when it was close to STAR's debut. exo has been swinging around to check up on their hoobaes and ensure that everything is okay. they always answer any questions. of course the one time she's forgetful is by coming to the dance studio a few hours earlier than everyone else. she would be in the bathroom washing her hands and he stormed in thinking it was the guys' restroom but in reality baekhyun just switched the signs. her first impression would be like 'oh shit, it's my sunbae.' she would bow and be unnecessarily respectful, but blushing hardcore  because she could've been peeing and he could've saw her. 'oh shit he's hot' type of stuff. and he would think that she's cute for being easily flustered and amused at how formal she's being towards him.

HOW HE ACTS AROUND HER: in the beginning he loved teasing her because of how formal she was. eventually after awhile if she's still formal he would tell her that they're close and that there was no need for it.they're very joking towards one another, or he's joking towards her and she's trying to be funny. you wouldn't think that they like each other unless one of them confessed, but there are times when you doubt their relationship. in the end during serious situations he's protective towards her. if there are times when they're in public secretly he would hold her hand and pull her away. it's gotten to the point where they're so used to it that they do it subconsciously. they're still playful, but a lot more skinship. he would hold her hand in crowds, or if they're with their other group he'd subconsciously have his hands on her shoulders.

HOW SHE ACTS AROUND HIM: in the beginning she's flustered because even though he told her she can drop formalities she still is hesitant because he is her sunbae. after awhile she's like a total mom towards him, always reminding him to eat or to apologize if he's wrong. but she's very caring and has good intentions. in the end she would be just as playful, always jumping on his back if he's not facing her, pulling his cheeks, or even forcing him to do aegyo.

REQUESTED SCENES: they're at a rest stop after performing at a city. after they stopped at the rest stop they would go get food and whilst they're contemplating on what to go he'd ask her what she would want and of course she'd do the typical, 'whatever you want is fine with me.' He'd roll his eyes and be like jfc woman. when they would meet up with the others they'd be all eating together and he wouldn't be eating as much as usual and of course she'd be scolding him to eat or else he'd be hungry later. of course either sehun or chanyeol or baekhyun would make teasing remarks like 'yeah listen to her, jongdae.'
