Episode 12: Family Drama

Episode 12: Family Drama and prelude to the AMBA Official Rank E Cup.

The first week of August, where every new month, the head nobles of the families in Demacia get together inside the hall of the castle to discuss taxes, laws, tourneys, and other important shit. We see Rodrigue, Head of House Fradarius, Minerva, Head of House Cromaisi, Evelyn, Head of House Hresvelg, Ulster, Head of House Gautier, Marcus, Head of House Hale, and about 4 more.

King Hector step in the room and the meeting begins, many subjects are discussed that which are either boring or not really important. Minerva discusses the idea of sending an ambassador to the Freijord region north of them, but Rodrigue disagrees, seeing that it's damn near impossible to find the settlements without risking men due to the constant blizzards. Evelyn talks about the idea of using training gadgets without using Geonyte, an idea that Ulster laughs at despite Evelyn pulling out the facts that defend her case to slience him. Something that Hector notes on and tell her to save it for later this week much to her joy and Ulster's annoyance. Marcus, a tall skinny black man with grey hair and wearing noble clothing, tells the king that he have men working on the double to investigates the meaning of the Geonyte shortage.

However, what King Hector and everyone else don't know is Marcus and his brothers, Gregorio and Franklin Hale, were behind the whole incident due to aid from Nohr.. They were expecting this to last for months to hamper Archanea's trainers, but they didn't see the possibilities of King Shiden dying. Furthermore, when asked by Marcus earlier prior to this meeting about who did it. King Hector told them that the people who stopped the monster will have their identities secured for their safety. This bothered all three of the Hales who, based on what killed Shiden, had a small idea on who did it. But they weren't too sure.

Nevertheless, Marcus tilts his glasses and stay silent in the meeting for a good hour before it was ended. Everyone left the room and head back to their ranches/mansions. The Hale ranches were 3 giant mansions and ranches for the 3 elder men in their 50's-60's and their monsters. Marcus parked his car in his fancy garage and entered his home. He head to his secret study chambers and sat down behind his desk to get a flask of beer ready and drink it.

If he could be quite honest, he was feeling levels of nervousness he haven't felt since many years ago prior to becoming the head of the family..When he first heard from his younger brothers of their plan with King Shiden, without caring or knowing where and how they got their hands on it. He wanted to use it to their advantage. Namely let it fester enough Geonyte to hamper Archanea, only for them to send one of their servants to handle the situation and curry the praises from the king and use it to climb up the ranks of society.

But no. Apparently the problem was solved by an outside force and they not only gained the approval of the king, but also the fact that he won't share their identities to the public make it harder for them to track them down. A part of Marcus hopes that it wasn't who they thought it was...but even if it was, it's not like he can do anything towards them. They are levels apart in terms of social class, monster power, and more..He's just an ant to their status as giants.

Marcus chuckles as he put his beer down and begin to read more of his books. Yes...Jalen won't be an issue at all...Fate decrees it as such.

Elsewhere, on Jalen's ranch..we see Marth reading the Book Gadget to boost his INT. While that's not a very important stat for Garus with the exception of certain breeds such as the Puck(/Gali), Rugaru(/Joker), and more...There's at least a couple of moves that Jalen personally know that which uses the INT stat called Power Wave, and Power Geyser. Power Wave is a Mid-Far projectile attack that sends a wave of magma energy towards the foe. Power Geyser is essentially a more powerful version of which a tower of magma energy erupts underneath the Garu's fist and towards the foe.

While Marth is reading up on the book of tectonic theory, Jalen is in a corner of his ranch where a fence and tent is built where inside he is farming his secret supplies of Maximum Tomatoes, by mixing in parts of the fruits he brought into the special soil and waiting for 2-3 weeks. He's able to creates these heavenly fruits. How this all work, he don't really know HOW...his father was able to use this to great effect during his career before his untimely death.

"(Murder...)" Jalen adamantly refuses the public opinion of his dad dying to natural causes of sickness, especially when he recount how his uncles told them that and secretly kicked him off to the curb.. He scowls as he remember those harsh times when he had nothing. As far as he is concerned, he got very lucky getting odd jobs that he don't wanna speak about EVER.

He sighs as he wipes his forehead and get off of the ground after planting his fruits in the soil and water them. He leave out of the tent and see Marth reading the gadget book. A month from now, he shall take on the AMBA Official Rank E Cup and win..

"And then, I'll be able to hear from Alex what truths she's been hiding from me.."
He still can't get over what she called him in the cave back then...Dad. What the hell did that mean? He had 2 theories on it.

The 1st being that he simply reminded her of her own father, and while it was somewhat flattering, he didn't know how he feel about being a similar sub for someone's dad. The 2nd one was simply that Alex probably have a dad kink and see him as a daddy. Which, while he is not a person to kink shame at all....He doesn't exactly have a daddy kink at all.

Regardless, he wanna know the truth, and if it comes down to Marth damn near sending 5 monsters to the medical room...Well, it won't come down to that for sure, but he will make sure to win is what he's thinking on.
"September..here we come.." He mutters and head back to his house to rest up...
