The owners of 983 Bushwick's Living room have not responded to us directly.  They have also deleted our comment from their Facebook page.

The #Boycott983 fliers around the neighborhood did cause a stir, no one deserves to not be compensated for work they performed.

In comments online, owners insist that this is the brainchild of one very angry former employee.  This is possible, and that the delivery staff WILL be hired back (we'll follow up).  What is not addressed is the claim made in the fliers of no compensation for work performed.  Maybe because they feel there is no merit to the claim, maybe some other reason.

Ultimately, supporting local small business of and for the 99% is something we can all rally behind.

If any former employees of Life Cafe, current employees of 983 Bushwick's Living Room, or outside contractors feel they have been mistreated, we're all ears.  If you have compliments for them, share those too.

Should any business in Bushwick knowingly mistreat their employees, they should expect us.
