- Covet: -Nika was sitting at a booth, munching on a salad, while her pizza cooled off. It was all steamy and melty at the moment. [Dammit now I want pizza]. She had her phone out with her Shame app opened looking for prospective arrangements for this weekend.
- Tsaaq: Freedom was parked outside of the resturant, glancing at her phone. She pursed her lips a little as she wrote up a quick response. She got out of the SUV and went to walk towards the resturant. She cringed a little as she grabbed the handle of the door, she was still dealing with residual cramps. Freedom walked up to the counter and pouted a little. She turned and saw Nika in the booth then gasped a little. "Hey girl!"
- Covet: "Hey! Freedom, You're out and about walking around!" She pointed to the seat across from her, closing out the app on her phone, out of politeness. "Sit, sit, Join me for some pizza." Nika smiled warmly, then spoke softer, "How are you feeling?"
- Tsaaq: "I am." She said with a nod. "I'm not in pain anymore. Not that much anyways." She shrugged. Freedom pouted a moment then shrugged. "I was gonna get myself a salad and try to get back on track so I won't lose my abs and shit but... I guess I can wait til Friday." She sighed before going to sit in the booth. ((Now I want pizza too.)) "I been aiight, still feeling emotional and shit. And worried, a lot of emotions." She frowned.
- Covet: Nika looked over at her concerned, listening to her pushing her empty salad plate off the the side. " Well I'm glad most of the pain is gone, But I'm sorry the emotions are still there. I'm sure that will fade... but, if it doesn't let me know. What's got you worried though?" She asked her getting them both a slice of pizza setting it the extra plates.
- Tsaaq: Freedom went to take her slice and blew on it before taking a bite. "You know, this bitch Shay been M.I.A. and now all the sudden she talking about how she coming back and how she wants deets about my doctor's appointment, like, I tried to be as vague as I could for a reason. And I just don't want people to know about it." Freedom shrugged. "Especially if it's none of they business. Maybe I'm just being paranoid?"
- Covet: Eating her slice of pizza slowly, blowing on it, she nodded her head while she chewed and listened to her. When she swallowed she spoke again, " So what... she's just over the whole ordeal now? And wants to be buddy like it never happened?" She nodeed her head, " I understand, I wouldn't want everyone to know about it either, It was just a doctors appointment, they gave you some stuff, and now you're feeling better, Sort of... What more is there to know? It's really not her business. She should leave it at what you tell her and consider herself lucky you told her that much." Nika said then frowned, "Sorry, I sound a lot more grumpy about this than I intend to be, I don't think you're paranoid though, you've got valid reasons to not want to tell her."
- Tsaaq: She went to take another more ferocious chomp into her pizza. She sighed as she leaned forward. "Yeah, I'm almost done with my antibiotics and all I'll have to do is get my birth control thing..." Freedom trailed off. "She got a big ass mouth, she gonna run and tell somebody, anybody. I know it." She sighed. "Imma try to keep it vague. My parents definitely can never know. I would be so fucked." Freedom looked vexed at the very thought. She put the pizza down a minute so she could savour it and looked over to Nika. "You aiight though?" She asked her carefully.
- Covet: "Right? You don't need to tell her anything more than she already knows about this. She'll be fine." Nika said with a soft smile then looked concerned, " You're family's religious so yeah, I can't see them being too happy about it, especially after the fact." She took another bite and nodded her head, "Yeah, I've been able to help keep the bills caught up at home, but the Inn's barely making it. So I've been trying to help out where I can there to cut some costs. Have you talked to Derek at all?"
- Tsaaq: She nodded, picking up her slice once more. "Right." She said in agreement then sighed at the thought of what her family would say. Freedom squinted her eyes while thinking. "Well, I talked to him earlier this week, before I went to the clinic." She said quietly. "But that was a long ass time ago now that I think about it. What about you?"
- Covet: Nika covered her mouth and shook her head no, " No, Well, sort of? He said he lost his phone, but has since then just messages sparingly. So... I'm not entirely sure what he's been up to." She looked over at Freedom, "Have you decided when you're going to tell him?"
- Tsaaq: Freedom nodded her head. "Oh... Well. I needed some space anyways... I needed time to think on all the shit, process the situation or whatever." She shrugged before putting her hands in her lap and lowering her head. "Um... I unno. I'm kinda scared to. We made a whole thing together and I just got rid of it because I been scared." Freedom answered. "I just don't want him to not like me or wanna stop talking to me." She whispered.
- Covet: "Mhhm, " She started with another bite in her mouth, swallowing she looked over at her, "I understand. It's really iffy on which way he could take that. I'd like to think he'd understand your decision on the matter, but How he reacts to some stuff, makes it difficult to say. It's nothing you have to do now, You can take as long as you need to tell him. Just don't blow him off, he has a small right to know."
- Tsaaq: "You right..." Freedom sighed as she stuffed her face with the rest of her pizza. She waited until she was done chewing to speak again. "I would feel bad if I didn't tell him, I feel bad now." She said.
- Covet: Nika finished off her slice as well, then looked over at her, "You felt bad before you had to do it. As much as I wish he didn't need to know, It'd eat you alive, and that's not the kind of mental stress you need."
- Tsaaq: Freedom nodded her head again then groaned loudly, laying her head down on the table. "I'm just so fucking worried about what this mother fucker might say..." She muttered.
- Covet: "Would it make you less worried, if I was there when you told him? Help keep the calm?" Nika asked watching her and reaching over to rub her shoulders.
- Tsaaq: She furrowed her eyebrows and contorted her facial expression a bit. "Well, you do help." Freedom said quietly. "I think that could be good. Maybe I won't freak out or nothing if you're there." She muttered.
- Covet: Nika gave her a comforthing look and smile, " I can help mediate it, that way you can get out what you need to say, and I can keep him calm too...I hope." She said looking a little concerned about dealing with Derek, but it was all just uncertainty about his attitude.
- Tsaaq: "I don't want to ruin nothing. I'm gonna try to be chill... Not get overly emotional. But that's mad hard right now cause I'm emotional about everything. I can't wait to get back into my usual routine and shit." She sighed. "Thanks Nika." Freedom whispered.
- Covet: "You'll get back to that. Just give it time. We can wait until you're feeling like yourself again before we bring it up, though, being emotional could work in our favor for him not freaking out." She said tilting her head to the side, She looked over at Freedom and smiled, " You're very welcome of course.
- Tsaaq: Freedom shook her head and waved her hands a little. "I don't want him thinking I'm being a crazy bitch or nothing. I still care about how people look at me..." She said. "We should wait." She agreed, nodding her head. Looking a little eased. "Let me get back to the gym, not look all gross anything. Get back to salads and water instead of junk food and chocolate casue of hormones."
- Covet: Nika watched her and nodded, "I get that, plus it could be that the more calm and collected you are about it the more calm and collected he'll be about it." She said, then laughed softly, "Oh please you don't look gross, I saw the pic you posted last Saturday, You're looking fantastic. You always look fantastic, even when you roll out of bed." Nika said with a smile.
- Tsaaq: She frowned before laughing a little. "Thanks Nika, but I mean. All that shit took work. I didn't wake up one day with abs. And I always thought it was just perks of living a healthy lifestyle and shit. I always get worried imma fuck it up somehow I guess." She said with a small shrug. "Aiight, so for now... I'm gonna try to think of the right words. Ain't no rush though. I'm sorry Nika. I feel like you always gotta help me cause I'm always fuckin' up. I feel so bad." She pouted.
- Covet: "Well, lucky for you, you've already got that dedication and hard work inside you. Now for me, Exercise is a bad word, so it'd take a lot more for me to get back on track." She said with a laugh, "You've trained yourself and so it will be easy once you're feeling better to get back on that." Nika flagged down someone to get a box for the pizza, not wanting it to sit out. " Yeah, think about it, write it down, that could help too. As for me helping you out, I don't mind. You've got a good head on your shoulders, everyone makes mistakes, but the difference for you is, you recognize your mistakes, and are going about fixing them, before they get out of control. That shows a lot of responsibility, which is more than most people seem to have around here."
- Tsaaq: Freedom took comfort in her words and sat up, beginning to smile. "Thanks Nika." She said with small less burdensome sigh. "Everybody got they own journey and they own path. I guess I'm just trying to walk the right way instead of running from shit." Freedom shrugged. "So, you and your little side job shit is doing okay right? Nothing scary is happening right?" She asked. "Cause they never did find the guy who murdered Angie and the hair dresser. And Rohan is still missing but it's like nobody cares... Not even Shay."
- Covet: "Exactly. And you're doing amazing at sticking to your guns and staying on track. You haven't ran, if anything you've faced it head on." Nika said seeing her mood picking back up, Her face dropped a bit when she mentioned the murderer and missing people, "It's been okay for the most part, There was one guy, who kind of gave me a weird vibe, but then I found out later, he was a thirty year old virgin and just really nervous. He's actually turned out to be one of thre more sweeter clients." She said then bit her cheek, "Really? Well I mean, Shay's been caught up in her own drama lately, so she probably hasn't given it much thought. But it's been a while, I don't want to assume the worst, but ... It's not looking good"
- Covet: *the
- Tsaaq: Her eyes widened a moment before she let out a sigh of relief. "Oh good. I got scared for a minute." She shook her head. "I mean, if one of my brothers was missing? I'd prolly be all types of fucked up. I guess she do got some drama happening but that's shit she did she can't really be excused for it or nothing." Freedom sighed. "I unno, she said she got good news for me when she gets back tomorrow... Now I'm tryin' to think about what that might be."
- Covet: "Believe me I was very concerned and very cautious but you could tell he was nervous, So I just asked him and we talked about it then he was a lot more relaxed." Nika's brow furrowed again and she gave a soft shrug, "Well yeah, but you also care more about people, she cares more about herself. It's tragic, but unfortunately true. However, I agree, there's no excuses for her not caring, unless... Her good news is that they found him?"
- Tsaaq: She tilted her head and rose an eyebrow. "You right! That might be what it is." She said with a slow nod. "And yeah... Unfortunately this bitch doesn't seem to care for others until it's convenient." Freedom sighed a little. "Well listen, Nika, if some shit is going down. I'm just a call away and I will say this a billion times. Cause you being safe is important." She pouted. "Can I ask something?"
- Covet: "Thanks Freedom, I appreciate that. I don't think I could count on that kind of help from Derek." She said with a smile, then rose her brows, "Of course, ask away."
- Tsaaq: "How are you able to like... Do stuff with these guys? Do y'all be going all the way?" She asked in a whisper as she leaned forward. "I get embarrassed when I do want to do that type of shit. So I can't even imagine it being my job or nothing like that. It's like it don't mean that much to you or... I unno. How does it work?
- Covet: "Oh... well. " She started then thought about it, "I dunno, I guess I kind of put myself into this role. It's not something that I'm particularly proud of, other than the fact that I need money and I'm out there doing what I need to, to get it. And I know that the better I do, the more I'll get paid. I have a set price, but if the client thinks I've done good, They'll tip too. I don't always have sex with them. Sometimes it's just companionship. Like with the thirty year old. We still haven't had sex. I've given him head and handjobs." She explained, "It's different for each person though, But on my part, It's about fifty fifty pretend confidence and genuine interest."
- Tsaaq: She nodded her head at Nika then crossed her arms over her chest. "Well... You braver than me." She said to her softly. "At least you don't gotta sleep with them all, that's a upside. You are good company after all. You def should be paid for it." Freedom started to smile.
- Covet: "Well for those that need it, it's totally free, for those that want it, Well then yeah, I'll make them pay." Nika said with a smile, " It's not glorious, I've been making sure I'm clean, I don't do anything without protection, I'm on birth control. I should get some mace or a taser." She looked at Freedom, "I should make Derek get me one."
- Covet: *need and deserve it
- Tsaaq: "I'm glad you ain't charging me so there's a blessing." Freedom giggled then shook her head. "I'm glad you smart about it, most bitches probably be sloppy as fuck... You could get a taser or mace, or a knife... Airsoft gun, they a lil harder to get."
- Covet: "I would never charge you, You definitley deserve my friendship for free. You're the best." She said with a smile and a laugh, "I wouldn't feel right about sleeping with people like this, and not being safe. A knife would be good too, I don't think I'd get a gun though, not even airsoft. They kind of make me nervous." She said with a soft laugh.
- Tsaaq: Freedom, grinned at Nika and waved her hand at her. "If the best, you the best." She said before poking out her lips and thinking. "We can get you one of those knives that's real pretty and is like, chrome purple or some shit. And have you carry mace... I unno if thats over kill but it's better to be safe than sorry."
- Covet: "Oh, That would be cool, or something that's got maybe a pearl handle. Still classy, but dangerous." She said with a laugh, "Yeah, I can pick that up easily enough, I should have thought about that sooner." Nika scrunched up her face, "I'll make sure to get it though."
- Tsaaq: "I can't help find one but I can google?" Freedom offered. "I'm not about violence but I am about my friends being safe." She sighed before shifting in her spot in the cushion of the booth. "So don't forget or nothing. I'll make sure I remind you and shit."
- Covet: "That would be fun, I'd really like to avoid it, by all means, it's for safety, not violence." Nika said with a nod. " Thank you, I will totally take the reminder." Nika felt her phone buzz in her pocket and pulled it out seeing the message. She responded then looked back at Freedom. "Our Favorite fixer upper." She said referring to Derek.
- Tsaaq: She smiled, giving her a thumbs up. "Of course bitch. I'm always willing to help." She leaned forward and furrowed her eyebrows a bit. "He talking to you? What's he saying?" Freedom asked
- Covet: "I had asked him how things were going HOURS ago, and he finally got back to me saying, "Good, W B U . I really wish people would type the full phrase out. I get that it's texting, but it's not really that hard." She sighed, " I told him good as well, just hanging out with you"
- Tsaaq: "Oh aiight." Freedom lowered her head a moment then shrugged. "Maybe he busy or something? Doing the stuff he does..." She trailed off casually.
- Covet: "Yeah, that's probably the case. Who knows with him. It's probably fight related." Nika said with a shrug, the box for the pizza being brought around. She got the left over pizza put into the box and closed it. "Temptation gone." She said with a smile at Freedom. " You know what else could be good to take...Some, Self defence classes."
- Tsaaq: Freedom pressed her lips togther tightly a moment. "Always training." She muttered before glancing at the pizza box as well then started to laugh. "You can eat some when you get home? Maybe give some to your moms too." Freedom suggested then gasped a little. "Oh shit, that sounds mad fun! I'd do that with you!"
- Covet: "If I let my mom even know there's pizza in the house, it will be gone before I say the word Pizza." Nika said with a laugh, " We should see if the gym offers them or something. It would be.." She paused then said the word with a fake cringe, "Exercise, but fun and helpful to have."
- Tsaaq: "That sounds like my house but most of the time I don't get mad. My family likes their pizza but there aint ever enough for all of us. We don't order enough." Freedom laughed as she shook her head. "You know fuckin' what? Exercise is fun Nika." She started to giggle. "Swimming is fun, that's exercise... Riding bikes and shit." She shrugged, trying to make up a list.
- Covet: "I'm pretty sure my mom's blood is nothing but pizza at this point. I'm honestly amazed at how she keeps her figure." Nika smiled, then laughed along with her, " I like swimming, and riding bikes, For leisure." She added with another laugh.
- Tsaaq: Freedom scrunched up her face while giggling. "Whaat?" She asked, wondering the same. She shook her head again. "Well bitch, it's still exercise. So just pretend exercise is just like any other fun shit you do." Freedom shrugged with a smile.
- Covet: "Okay, okay I suppose if I can think of it like that, it won't be so bad. Plus, learing how to defend myself sounds like fun anyways, so it probably won't even feel like exercise." She grinned then scrunched up her face, "I might have to get some coffee, I'm running low."
- Tsaaq: "Exactly." She clapped her hands together once and nodded. Freedom tucked some of her hair behind her ear. "I ain't trying to hold you up or nothing. If you wanna go home and rest or something that's cool. I can text you?" She offered.
- Covet: Nika smiled and looked at her, "You're not holding me up at all, I'm just low on caffeine, or it's late, I haven't been paying attention to the time." She said with a light laugh, " But, now that you mention rest, that does sound nice. Of course, absolutely, feel free to text me. I didn't intend to keep you out late or anything either, I know you're still recovering"
- Tsaaq: She nodded her head. "Yeah, the doctors said I would probably be fully recovered by like Friday so I got a few days left." Freedom shrugged her shoulders. "I mean I spend mad days asleep and I haven't seen people in that time. I'm okay with hanging with you for a lil longer. You know, cause you such pleasant company." She laughed.
- Covet: "Good, That just means it's that much closer to you feeling like yourself again. And Sleep is good, being anti social, a little not good, but you can't really help that if you have been sleeping." She said with a smile. " I would love to hang out for a little longer, but we don't necessarily have to stay here. We could find someplace that's more comfortable, I can't imagin sitting in these booths for too long is making you feel all that great"
- Tsaaq: "My ass is mad sore now that you mention it..." Freedom trailed off, rubbing her bottom a moment then puffing out her cheeks as she slouched a moment. "We can head over to my crib, or something like that? What you think?" She asked Nika.
- Covet: "See, let's get some place with better cushions. Your place would be.." She stopped what she was saying and looked down at her phone feeling it buss in her lap. " Well, according to this Derek says it's cool we're hanging out, we should go hang out with him. I give him kudos on his timing, However... Is that something you'd like to do, under these circumstances?"
- Tsaaq: Freedom thought a moment and sighed a little. "It might look shady if I don't." She sighed and crossed her arms while thinking harder on the offer. "I can hang out over there. He got a couch. I should be good." Freedom said with a nod.
- Tsaaq: ((Bussy.))
- Covet: [LMAO]
- Covet: "Okay, Sounds good. And We'll have pizza for a snack while we're there." Nika said with a smile, Sliding out of the booth, getting some cash out of her back pocket for enough to cover the bill and tip. "I'll meet you over there and we can get you comfortable, If you don't end up wanting to stay, give me some sort of signal, and we can jet out of there."
- Tsaaq: "I'll uh... I'll tug on my earlobe like they do in the movies." She laughed, getting out of the booth and digging around her purse for her car keys. "Aiight I'll see you at Derek's house." She waved, holding the door open for Nika so she could gtfo and get in her suv and drive away.
