  14.
  15.
  16.
  17. "Listen on! This is the truth of it.
  18. Fighting leads to killing, and killing gets to warring.
  19. And that was damn near the death of us all.
  20. Look at us now! Busted up, and everyone talking about hard rain!
  21. But we've learned, by the dust of them all! Bartertown learned.
  22. Now, when men get to fighting, it happens here! And it finishes here!
  23. Two men enter; one man leaves."
  24.
  25.
  26.
  27. The ultimate test of courage, skill, and strategy.
  28. Two confidant combatants enter the Thunderdome, stand toe to toe,
  29. and throw everything they have at each other until one can no longer stand and fight.
  30. Only the victor shall walk out triumphant.
  31. The loser, well, how they walk out is up to how much they dare to risk,
  32. and how the victor allows them to walk out, if allowed to walk at all afterwards.
  33.
  34.
  35.
  36. Event takes place the last day plus of the normal round,
  37. starting Saturday Feb. 23 at 12 Noon US EST,
  38. 17:00 GMT, Turn 7540.
  39. Event lasts until the normal round ends or everybody is exhausted.
  40.
  41.
  42.
  43. Two forms of combat in this event.
  44.
  45.
  46. BRA AND PANTIES MATCHES!
  47. The default match type. Animate spells only. No item spells or pet spells.
  48. The winner is the first combatant to force an animate TF on their opponent.
  49. Extra cheers are likely from the spectators for choosing a suitable form
  50. for your defeated opponent, whether to force them to walk out of the dome
  51. in a form that marks them as defeated by you or something suitably humiliating
  52. as they are forced to endure the stares of the entire town.
  53. Or they suffer such shame at their defeat that they have to rapidly revert to human,
  54. walking around in just their bra and panties (or boxers) signaling their total defeat.
  55.
  56.
  57. Or, ...
  58.
  59.
  60. TROPHY MATCHES!
  61. Inanimate spells allowed, items or pets.
  62. Animate spells usable as well if you would choose such a strategy.
  63. Only available if both combatants agree to it before the match.
  64. The winner is the combatant who makes their opponent their trophy,
  65. carried around triumphantly to demonstrate their superior combat skill.
  66. Whether that is having their fabric face squashed between the victor's thighs,
  67. led around on a leash behind the victor,
  68. turned into a trophy sword with the defeated mage's body posed lewdly as the hilt,
  69. or whatever the twisted mind of the victor comes up with.
  70. Defeated combatants will remain the trophies owned by the victor
  71. until the defeated player can revert to human, assuming they choose to do so,
  72. except in cases of a serious personal conflict as decided by event officials.
  73.
  74. Trophy matches count as the equivalent of three victories in Bra and Panties matches
  75. for awarding the winner of the Champion of the Chainsaw award.
  76.
  77. Note that officials are not responsable for items, pets, or runes lost
  78. by defeated mages in a trophy match.
  79. If you don't want to risk losing something to the quick hands of a spectator
  80. a safe place to keep those items can be provided by officials before the match.
  81. Or, don't choose a trophy match.
  82. Anything you bring into a trophy match you should be prepared to potentially lose
  83. along with your animacy.
  84.
  85.
  86.
  87. The tournament format has two possabilities.
  88.
  89. If enough combatants sign up we will have a proper bracket.
  90. First round matches will be paired as combatants show up.
  91. Combatants who lose and dare to show their faces again after their huminiating defeat
  92. may have the opportunity to compete further in a loser's bracket and make their way back
  93. for a second chance at the person who defeated them.
  94. That includes losers of trophy matches if they revert to human in time to compete further.
  95. Combatants who lose multiple times, if they can stand the humiliation, can fight more
  96. in exhibition matches during the breaks between bracket matches.
  97.
  98. If we have a small number of combatants sign up we'll put people's names into a hat
  99. based on who is available to fight at the time.
  100. The person with their name chosen has the right to challenge any other combatant who is present.
  101. Combatants can decline to fight somebody a second time or can take repeat challenges, their choice.
  102. You fight for as long and in as many matches as you are able
  103. and when you've had enough you remove your name from the hat.
  104. Officials may pair two combatants at the top of the leaderboard to break ties.
  105.
  106.
  107.
  108. Two winners will be awarded prizes at the end of the event.
  109.
  110. The combatant who wins the tournament bracket,
  111. or finishes the event with the fewest losses
  112. will be crowned the first Thunderdome Champion.
  113.
  114. The combatant with the most victory points,
  115. 1 point for winning a Bra and Panties match
  116. and 3 points for winning a Trophy match,
  117. will be crowned the Champion of the Chainsaw.
  118.
  119. If the same person earns both they win both.
  120.
  121.
  122.
  123. A watch party will be held on Discord during the event with domeside announcers,
  124. combatant interviews, and friendly chat. Combatants and spectators are all welcome.
  125. Though if you are that person who gets too drunk at the watch party you may be asked to leave.
  126.
  127.
  128.
  129. Rules for all matches.
  130.
  131. Those receiving a match challenge, or the lower level combatant in a paired match,
  132. have choice of combat stage for their match.
  133. Multiple locations around town will be offered as choices at the discretion of officials.
  134.
  135. Leaving the tile during a match results in an immediate loss.
  136.
  137. During the match officials will toss potentially useful items into the dome
  138. for whoever has the quicker fingers to grab it.
  139. Items can be anything from a vibrator, a fire fritter, a wizard's wand, or a chainsaw.
  140. Okay, probably not a chainsaw, unfortunately.
  141. But any consumable, reusable, or useful combat item could come out at any time.
  142.
  143. No Forced March or Take a Load Off.
  144.
  145. Weaken, Am I Bugging You, and curses are allowed if both combatants are PVP Mode or are friends.
  146. A PVP player and a P Mode player must add each other as friends before the match.
  147. All combatants in a Trophy match must add each other as friends before the match.
  148. If both players are P Mode and choose to add each other as friends they may use these spells.
  149. If the players are both P Mode and choose not to friend each other than only animate spells may be used.
  150.
  151. Removing somebody as a friend to stop their attacks,
  152. blacklisting someone if it will stop their attacks,
  153. or switching to SP mode to stop attacks results in an immediate loss.
  154.
  155. Any animate form may be used to start the match.
  156. Any items may be used before or during the match, except TP Scrolls during a match.
  157. Any effects from searching may be picked up before the match begins.
  158. Matches will have defined start times to allow effects to be stacked however
  159.
  160. Combatants may cleanse, meditate, and search as much as their AP allows during a match.
  161.
  162. No buffs from other players going into a match,
  163. though friends may help you to get the animate form you want.
  164. No outside help during a match.
  165.
  166. Random spectators interfering should be expected.
  167. Interference that crosses the line or is too one-sided, as decided by the officials,
  168. can result in a match being stopped and redone later or a result undone.
