- >You are Anonymous the Lich
- >You are the harbinger of destruction for Equestria
- >And as it stands, there is another who would seek to take away your new world.
- >You look upon the assembled six.
- >Rainbow Dash looks at you with distrust.
- >It will be hard getting her to drop her guard, but you have time.
- >Indeed, you have all the time in the world.
- >The hard work that risked you the most was done while they knew of an enemy.
- >Your plans are still in motion.
- >You are unneeded to see this world crumble to dust.
- >But you will not see this manifestation that resembles the fabled ‘Nightmare Moon’, a bumbling fool, wrench your kingdom-to-be from your atrophied hands.
- “What is our plan of attack, ladies?”
- >Twilight has taken your chair at your deck, much as you despise having her hooves upon the marble seat
- >You must play the part of the humble repentant.
- >You will enjoy ripping the soul from her corpse.
- >”What do you know of Nyx?”
- >You pause, and think.
- >She is much like you.
- “She is a master of the darkness. It was how she took control of me, in fact. Her magical mastery is also impressive.”
- >”This looks bad… I suppose we’ll need to find where she is. I hope the Elements can deal with her.”
- >You nod
- “If they cannot, then I will do everything I can to make amends.”
- >You make your way to the towers staircase, before stopping.
- “Hold now… She said she was preparing to begin her reign.”
- >They look at you, all six of them, expectantly.
- “… She is headed to Canterlot. It is the only possible place.”
- >Twilight looks at her friends, and then looks at you.
- >”How can you be certain?”
- >You wish you could grin once more, but your native grimace will have to do.
- “It was what she would have me do, once I was forced to kill you.”
- >The ponies sprint from your tower, intent to get back to Ponyville quickly.
- >You watch as they leave, and wait.
- >Their pulses grow distant, and eventually disappear.
- >They are gone.
- >Now, you must prepare.
- >You climb the steps, one by one, your mind racing.
- >Plans within plans.
- >Everything playing out in practiced simulations, a thousand times.
- >You peak the tower, and look out over the massive valley before you.
- >The Cliff held two purposes.
- >First, it gave you a wide view of the world that lead away from the ponies civilization.
- >Second, it was a venerable graveyard, and deep below, lies an ancient Dragon Boneyard.
- >The shadows gather around you.
- >Even with their master walking this plane, the energies of the Shadows still love you, as they wrap and writhe.
- >Fingers of a dark mistress trace themselves over your form, as you levitate high into the air.
- >The soft, cool kisses of power lace through your mind, as you call out to this world.
- >It responds in song.
- >You hear the melodic beat of its heart, the pulse of its energies.
- >Water, fire, air, earth, life and death.
- >The universe is left bare to you as runes wrap themselves through the air.
- >Reality warps and shifts, as you feel the surge of power.
- >All of creation is at your beck and call.
- >You have power to rival gods, and it calls in a tempest of sounds.
- >Green flames dance visably in the valley far below, and you can hear them stirring.
- >But something is wrong.
- >The energy at your fingertips, so easy to grasp, so soft, will not obey.
- >It dances in patterns that you cannot control.
- >No…
- >You can control it.
- “In the dark of the night I was tossing and turning,”
- >You sing to the entropic powers, and they dance before you, bending to your will.
- “And the nightmare I had was as bad as can be,”
- >The ground writhes, the slow pulse growing steadily.
- “It scared me out of my wits, A corpse blasted to bits!”
- >The music of this world reaches a crashing crechendo, and you sing with it, the music fueling you on.
- >You feel your hate feeding into this pure power, and it absorbs it.
- >It obeys.
- “Then I opened my eyes and the nightmare was before me!”
- >The ground writhes and bucks, as the dead deep below hear your cries.
- “I was once the most terrible fiend in all of Equestria!”
- >The cries of your unliving minions chorus with you.
- >You think for a moment how ludicrous it is that you are singing, but it is overruled as you feel the power swelling over you.
- >Now you know why Pinkie Pie sings so much.
- >Clever girl, she probably didn’t even understand how she was able to achieve such magical acts.
- “When the ponies attacked, the made a mistake!”
- >You raise your hands and step forwards, standing upon the highest spinneret’s of the towers crown.
- “My scheme’s will make All of them pay!”
- >The ground cracks as you step forwards, you hands rolling with eldritch energies
- “But one mortal pony got in my way.”
- >You step forwards, raising your hands above you.
- >The ground cracks and fissures, black energies swirling about your tower.
- “Little Nyx beware, for the Lich awaits!”
- >Your rising minions, skeletal Griffons and zombified manticores scream in time to the pulse, moaning the loathsome chorus to your song of the dead.
- “Revenge, will be sweet, when my rise is complete!”
- >The ground splits wide, as more and more undead beasts rise from the grave.
- >Your entire tower is shrouded in complex runic pentagrams and sigils.
- “I can feel my powers rising,”
- >You swipe a hand, and a massive surge of power washes outwards
- “Rise from the ash, ready to hunt for my quarry as well!
- “As the pieces fall into place, she will beg for the grave!”
- >With a flourish of your hand, you watch as your horde surges forwards, pulling its self from the earth.
- “Goodnight, Nyx, your grace, farewell!”
- >You reach to the sky, and a pulse of vile energy surge across the land.
- “My dear, here’s a sign, It’s the end of your life!”
- >The atrophied dead move at your will, marching forwards, towards canterlot.
- “Come, my minions!”
- >Your hands are a blurr of motion as your weave spell upon spell.
- “Rise for your master, Let our evil reign!”
- >You step off the edge, and begin to plummet down.
- “March for her now, yes, rise ever faster!”
- >The ground splits into a yawning fissure as a skeletal dragon rises, bellowing in necrotic fury.
- >You land upon its back as it takes flight, headed for Canterlot
- “Her soul shall be mine!”
