PERSONALITY: nahyun comes off as intimidating and is often misjudged for being stuck up since she keeps to herself. she’s not very social and typically only converses with people/strangers if she has to; because of this people label her as “shy” but it is her anxiety that keeps her from being social. her true nature is the complete opposite of her initial impression which catches people by surprise. around the people she’s close to she cracks jokes and openly talks about whatever subject is brought up. despite these two attributes, nahyun is quite sensitive and often overthinks a lot of things giving them a meaning that was never there. she cries easily because of all the overwhelming emotions she may feel at once. nahyun can be sentimental and will feel nostalgia or sadness wash over her when something triggers memories, her initial mood may darken a bit more due to this but she tries to not make it noticeable so others won’t notice or worry about it.

BACKGROUND: nahyun was raised by her father, her mom not playing any role in her life, though she never asked what happened to her since to her, her father and sister were enough for her. because of her mother’s absence she has a very strong relationship with her dad and sister. when they were still kids she and jihyun would often be in their father’s office when they didn’t have anyone to look after them. she idolized her dad for his profession and admired the way he caught criminals, even after she learned the harsh realities of the criminal justice system. overall she thinks her dad raised her and her sister pretty well.
when she matured and had problems she confided in her dad and often told him everything that ran through her mind, this made her coming out to him easy for her as he had fully accepted her.

both parties met through nahyun’s younger sister because they both attended the same school and were paired up for a project. over the course of a few months they had gotten closer after talking for a while. when they initially started dating it was like watching a newlywed couple during the honeymoon stage of their marriage, their affection towards each other never dried up, but it did lessen little by little as time went on. nahyun and her significant other had been together for 2 years and many, including nahyun herself, had thought the both of them would last a longer amount of time, however due to reasons nahyun considers bullshit her s/o had broken things off. (the whole “it’s not you it’s me” conversation but she’s had suspicions that they were doing something behind her back)

ANYMORE LOVE?: after the breakup she has found it difficult to try and start a new relationship and often finds little “distractions” ie she finds flings. she does this because it gives her the illusion of being wanted romantically even by a stranger and it stops her from thinking about her past lover.
she has had relationships after that particular one but they never really lasted more than 2 months.

FEELINGS:
devastated as any girl would feel like after being in what she considered a pretty healthy relationship. she almost gave into some pretty nasty habits but luckily caught herself, however it doesn’t mean she was ready to let go.

OVER IT:
there were already times where she would be an empty shell of herself and would constantly wonder if what she did was even worth it anymore, after the breakup it got worse and could not or would just outright refuse to function normally. she was sluggish and monotone, even on her best days she kept to herself and her own thoughts.
