  57. Its not a bad movie but its far from great. Its a decent action movie that will not bore you but that said thats about all it has going for it. There is virtually no character development, they basically tell you &quot;these are the characters, deal with it&quot; with no little to no backstory. <br/><br/>Some of the scenes just didn&#39;t make sense, in the beginning the aliens were kicking their asses, then by the end suddenly everyone is an expert in martial arts and swinging around knives like crazy and taking on dozens of aliens like they suddenly got weaker... Overall the plot felt rushed. And it also still does not make much sense at all nor did the original skyline... 1 alien travels to earth to take our brains to put them in his slave army of robot/alein suits. So what his whole race are basically enslaved humans? How does our brains power his suits, and why? And what purpose do they serve them?<br/><br/> If the creators of this movie put some effort into character development and explaining some of these wild ideas, this could actually be a pretty good movie. As it stands, its a mindless action flick that requires massive suspension of belief to even watch it.

I didn&#39;t like the original Skyline movie very much, so it came as no surprise that I didn&#39;t like this one very much either - a muddled storyline, corny dialogue and the acting is nothing to write home about. It all gets a bit silly with long action sequences in which little blokes doing kung fu manage to somehow kick the crap out of 8 foot tall robots - the CGI isn&#39;t terrible and its pretty much action all the way through is about all I can say that&#39;s positive about it - you would probably find it &quot;kewl&quot; if you were 13 or 14.
  59. Tone is a revealing element for this project, which it borrows from the B-movie, apocalyptic seriousness of a later “Transformers” sequel. One of the movie’s biggest surprises is then that it has outtakes, which even include poking fun at how easily the intimidating alien’s costume head can fall off.
