moldy cheese

Jakey was getting a little bit hungry, so he went into the kitchen and opened the fridge.

"MOM!" Jakey was upset, because it didn't seem like there was anything edible in there. His mom did not respond because she was at work. Angrily remembering this, he decided to give the contents of the fridge a closer inspection, maybe try to find something to fashion himself a sandwich with.

The fridge had three shelves. There was nothing on the upper one. On the middle shelf, there was a single piece of moldy cheese. On the bottom shelf, another two pieces of moldy cheese.

"Gee, there sure is a lot of moldy cheese in this fridge" Thought Jakey, as he gave up and went back into his room. He started playing some games or whatever, but the rumblings of his tummy were telling him to recheck that fridge.

Begrudingly, he went back into the kitchen, and opened the fridge one more time. On the upper shelf, there were 3 pieces of moldy cheese. On the middle one, there were four pieces of moldy cheese. On the bottom one, eight pieces of moldy cheese.
"Oh, I should check the freezer! There might be a pizza or something I can reheat."

There was no pizza. Only a big piece of moldy cheese. Jakey closed the freezer and opened the fridge again. On the upper shelf, there were five  pieces of moldy cheese. On the middle one, there were seven pieces of moldy cheese. On the bottom one, ten pieces of moldy cheese.

"Hmm. Something strange is going on here. I swear we didn't have this much moldy cheese last time I checked." Jakey had entirely forgotten about his hunger by now and was intently staring at the contents of his fridge now. He noticed something weird, slightly blue-ish on the fridge's walls. It was mold! Jakey took a step back. Golly! The entire fridge had turned into a big, fridge-shaped piece of moldy cheese.

Jakey looked down at his hands. They were covered in mold, too. And his fingers were looking strangely yellow-ish.
